Project Toolbox is an add-on utility for Jazz Jackrabbit 2 (1.23 and TSF) that allows the author of a level to enable some cool new functions in JJ2:
l> level selection, with either triggers or hotkeys
l> taking coins and triggers with you to the next level
l> endboss functionality
l> forced character
Why wouldn`t I know it?

Minor problem with me though:
How does the “Generated-Trig-crate” work?
And that thing in the wall with all those bomb scenes doesn`t make any sense for my concern…
So…WHAT does that do?

It won’t work.
I have Windows XP SP 2 and Jazz Jackrabbit 2 1.23.
When I try the level selection example and press Alt+Shift+“number” it just stays on the same level. The boss level doesn’t seem to work either, or I might just not have been hitting the crates enough times. Is there a specific number of times I have to hit the crates?
This worked very well on me with XP/1.23. Yet it doesn’t have much things you can use, but it seems to be a good program. Best feature of all was the level selection. Also boss destroying with triggers and force to start with character and keep coins and triggers. Just one thing: Change the program to next version so you can select coins or triggers, not both. But nice work on this!
This tool is very handy indeed.

That triger tool is great,because you press a button and the door opens as such.
Im not sure how im relly going to use that hit boss feature.
Also at the start having a player come first is a good idea.
I must say download this little handy toolbox of tricks.
The endboss has to be hit 25 times – for every five times a block of his health disappears.
As for the hotkeys that don’t work, I don’t know what’s the problem, it should work fine… You should know that I have only enabled hotkeys (shift+alt+)1,2 and 3 – the rest is disabled.
Good idea. Unfortunately, this feature is not yet in version 1.0.1, but the next version will allow you to choose to transfer coins/triggers only.
