Description

Yay, my first upload after ages! Made these patches while I was bored. When used, they fix something that has irritated me for ages. The jj2 music will always restart when you get roasted by an enemy player. Apply these patches and the music will continue playing as normal. Now you can finally enjoy listening to it. Patches are available for 1.23 and 1.24 (TSF). Have fun.

This is an excellent patch but was made obsolete by JJ2+ long ago and the fact it’s still among the top rated downloads on the site can only be misleading.

I’d also like to mention that with this patch applied, Controller v4.0 will no longer be able to change music by self destructing. However the latest Controller v4.1 (PB3.5) should support the automatic music change without the need to self-destruct. Use it to change music in mid-game without any side effects.

This program was a breeze to install. Just unzipped it and clicked. Amazing. I usually have to read manuals for this kind of stuff but [insert program here] was so simple and user freindly I was impressed.
We live in an age where everyone uses computers and [insert program here] understands that. This program is just not for the smartiacs, and it’s simple interface displays this fact proudly. It’s so easy, even a baby could use [insert program here].
In this wave of the future, many programs are trying too hard to be overcomplicated jack-of-all-trades swiss army knives of the computer world. Not [insert program here]! It understands the “See a need, fill a need” approach of the 50s and is meant to do only one task that it excels at, instead of 50 functions of unknown quality hidden in a tome of a readme and a corperate interface. This task is [insert primary function here], and it’s done so perfectly that I am amazed at the perfection.
So download [insert program here] and have fun with [insert primary function here]. It’ll make you remember of a simpler time.

This patch indeed is handy, but there should be on/off switch. I kinda like some musics when you die, they sound odd, but it fits there… But anyways, great patch!

The best patch made by Overlord so far.
Before Overlord realesed this the jj2 music was very annoying because when got roasted the music restart.
This is very easy to use even for a newbie in pc’s.
Only unzip with Winzip program and then locate your jj2.exe and patch it.Then your ready to play without that music problem :D

I’ve never seen something so esy to install. The program is so simple, so usefull and is completely bug free. It eliminates the JJ2 music restarting bug with the samples sticking just by keeping the music playing. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out how to install, infact, even a 5-year-old would find out how to install this if he knew how to unzip files. All of this uses up only 17.5KB of your memory. So small.

It is harder to turn the program off than it is to turn it on. A 5-year-old may end up deleting the file.

I don’t usually rate utilities, but this case is an exception…
