Description

An ammo packed jungle level that is supposed to be on the top of a tree. I also added the ctf version of it.

Im afraid I cannot give this any more than a 6.

The background is bad, wrong tiles are used as paralaxing (written right???) and the level ‘feels’ too small.

Also, the second (ctf) level doesnt much differ from the battle version, exept for two ctf bases of course…

What can I say about this. On the other hand I think: Wow, he used some good new stuff. But I also think the lvls are 2 small and the gameplay is freakin awful.
The background is fresh and new. I don’t agree with BlackDeath: If there’s air included in the tileset, than u don’t have to use that as background. This gives a bushy feelin and very different from other lvls I’ve seen. But to be honest it doesn’t look quite good.
There are no ‘ugly’ parts in the lvl, like a tree placed wrong on the ground.
The gameplay looks weird. 2 much of the same and there’s no real feeling in it. The lvls are way 2 small.
My conclusion is that these 2 lvls are a combination of average eyecandy, bad gameplay, but some original stuff used to make it look different from other Jungle lvls.

I played this level with Gargoyle in battle mode it was fun but not such a good level; the top of it is just some platforms and that’s one thing that i hate in levels it’s the authers way to lazyly fill up the rest of the level.
I would give it a 5 for the fun battle but about the CTF it is VERY un fair that one base has a hard climb and he other is a defended location which to get to it you just need the use the left and right keys and fall, also there arn’t enough ways into the bottom base (blue?)

Hey, i like the “Tree-Tops”. This level has a quite original design and eyecandy (cool background layer!). I admit it’s not very large but somehow…tight. Don’t know, maybe it’s the background which produces this impression. Anyways, the weapon selection will garantuee a real battle and overall you can have some fun with this. As Gargoyle said, a CTF version for our flag fans is also included. Could be a nice replacement for Stupid CTF i guess :-)
So WHY NOT DOWNLOAD? If you ask me, i’ll keep it on my harddisk.

-*** background (IMO)
-Boring (much same little platforms)
-Too Small
-Bad red base placement (also IMO :)
-I don’t like it too much. Nice try, but no d/l recommendation from me. Sorry, Gargoyle.
