Saludos a toda la comunidad de Jazz Jackrabbit 2! Les traigo uno de mis niveles personalizados de Tubelectric. Que lo disfruten y siéntanse cómodos de opinar.
This is by far the best level I’ve had a chance to play by Juampa Elcapo
+ overall look, good use of the tileset
+ varied areas full of enemies
+ not too easy
- you get sugar rush when you don’t need it, this is if you pick up all the food
This is really good. The level switches back and forth between gameplay (shooting enemies, avoiding pinball bumpers, breaking blocks, riding platforms) and brief automatic segments (sucker tubes, warps, float ups, springs, pits) at a pace that might feel inappropriate in another environment but seems just right for Tubelectric. There’s no misguided effort to create an entire pinball table in a game that’s not ready for it; instead, bumpers and flippers are just cool things to play with and bounce off like any other. Good creative stuff. There’s a recurring thread spread throughout the level where the way will be blocked by TNT blocks, and either you’ll still have TNT from the last time or else you’ll go off and do an optional adventure to get some more. Personally I use TNT so little in combat that I never ran out of it, but it’s still a nice idea. Even besides the TNT blocks there’s a lot of destructible scenery and it all fits in well; the author has even finally figured out text events. I like the walls a lot here, Tubelectric has three main wall styles and this level blends them all together pretty freely, it looks cool but not chaotic. Basically this is a good level everyone should play, the only real problem is the sugar rush and the shield converging at the end of the map.
Eat your lima beans, Johnny.
