Description

This is a nifty litle battle level i whipped up in a few days of work. It simulates a big metropolis at night, with all sort of neat stuff, like lightning, trafic lights and stuff like blimps and UFOs flying thoruh the air. I thought i`d upload it here, cuz i`m pretty satisfied with it. Only, i dont know who made the tileset. If anyone of you knows, please tell me:-P

The tileset is by Bluez, as far as I know.

Okay, my review. The tileset is great, but I don’t like the moving err… stuff at the background, it’s confusing. The music doesn’t fit IMO, it’s more something for an ancient level. The design is good, maybe sometimes the level is too empty, but that’s nuffin’. I like it. The ammo placement is OK, maybe too much, but I like ammo :). Too bad the UFO’s are so little, I luv them! It’s also cool you used the “Got Moogoo?” etc. billboards, they rule and they’re giving the level a “city atmosphere”. Well… Said everything about this. This is a real 6.5 level :). Grab your rating and give it a twist!

I dunno about you ppl, but I live in a big city, with 3 million ppl. The buildings NEVER move around for fun on there own. I found that annoying. Also I couldn’t make some jumps because I was Jazz and not Spaz. I hate that.
The music was ok, but I didn’t really get the feel that it went with the level. I’m sorry I’m hard on this level but those buidling moving around really bug me ;)

I really dont like the moving buildings.
They are boring and confusing.
Also, when you go into the coin warp, you get the following:
-Pepperspray powerup (Completly useless, I thnik it should have been switched with seeker powerup)
-Tons of FastFires (Waste of space, there are already too many FastFires in the level)
-Full health and invincibility carrots (Making it the perfect place to camp (Not Good!))

The layout and design is ok, except for the problems mentioned above.
Oh and you need faster music, it is battle, not single player!
