I'm very (-) and unmotivated because of the current situation of JDC; it seems like the community is a lot more interesed in team games than in duels.

Therefore, what game type would YOU like to see being played in the next edition of J2MC?

You wouldn't create a poll about the level-entries for the contest, but instead about something more useless(and call it important). In case the poll results are affecting the tournament's actual being, I don't see a reason to change the game-mode at all. You just got the contest-entries in, and would be just horrible if there would be more editing again for the levels for assault especially. As well the current levels with their symmethrical layout wouldn't interest in teambattle, and I already dislike that mode. Guess your next step is to throw away these levels too?

A question I also had was why isn't 3vs3 included here either although 4vs4 is, as you earlier seemed to prefer 3vs3 over 4vs4 because of "less lag".

That's right when it comes to CTF. TB and Assault simply work better with 8 players.

I wonder why there are so few options, where is for example 3vs3 TB etc.? ;O Honestly, I think you shouldn't change the system, you change your mind too often, it looks like the levelmaking contest was just useless (or not, because we got many good levels ).
For example, I'm sure it will be really hard (or impossible? ;P) to get at least 9 people at the same time to play a match.

However, as I prefer teamgames, I vote for TB ;;
And I think that it shouldn't be called 'clan tournament', becasue you again won't get enough real active clans, people should be allowed to form their own teams with whoever they want to (so, for example Cracco Clan* can make 2 teams, and there is no need for 'LB' ).

CTF duel tournament is...unoriginal to say the least. A battle tournament would be boring. 2on2 TB sounds nice, though 2on2 tournaments have never been successful in the past for some reason. Clan TB with 4on4 sounds plausable as clan tourneys work, though it would be better off as 3vs3 unless you want even more forfiet losses due to unsufficent numbers of people showing up. 4on4 assault sounds fun, but it's best to keep it simple as players and clans will complain how they aren't the best at the gametype and how it doesn't allow them to have some of their other skills 'shine'. TB is the most simple gametype that anyone can play that will allow the most diverse playing styles.

CTF 2vs2 and 3vs3 are the best, sad that they are not listed.

Keep in mind that I could turn the 4on4 to 3on3 (and not for clans).

But I prefer partner fighting aka 2v2.

I have to choose between three unique game types now. How fun
