Making this open-source won't lead to anywhere.

I haven't tried it myself so I don't know anything about what it lacks, but from general feedback (Vio) it seems to need some features. Also, it doesn't look like the most user-friendly editer. Perhaps more functionality in that regard. Since it is pixel/sprite art and animation, it could rip-off Graphics Gale.

"Sup mang, I just ripped off the game design of Super Mario Bros. for our project, it'll be a spectacular game thing about them huns taking over rome, we is getting an A, son."
"Mang Super Mario Bros. ripped off Pitfall in the first place, shut up you is dumb." The point: This whole conversation about Graphics Gale and where it got it's features from? Not the main picture. |

I don't actually have any qualms about releasing it as open source. Work has been piling up due to end-of-year/start-of-year reports and stuff, but I should have more free programming time after January ;D. That said, I am interested in releasing a new version, probably coinciding with JSD's first anniversary. Anyone interested in helping is welcome, mostly I just need a design for a new interface. New features look fun to add, but to make it work the whole GUI should probably be rebuilt from scratch. GraphicsGale looks like something good to

BUMP'd in the name of 1.23 and TSF Sounds (RAR, 5.69MB). This link expires in 7 days, so I'd be grateful if anyone could host/mirror this.
Anyway, I chose WAV over MP3 because they are lossless and reflect the true sounds used in JJ2. I considered FLAC but decided WAV would be more convenient for the majority. The set numbers correspond with the animation sets used in JSD. Like the animations before, I have not gone through every sound to notice anything particularly interesting. Also, look forward to JSD v2.0, which can hopefully coincide with its first anniversary as stated before. ![]()

Hey, from how long this program is on the server?
Post your j2a files, post! Upload them. Now I'm making a nature pack (mostly in green- even the frozen sprite!) and It'll take me maybe a month or two to complete. I've already edited some of the weapons and some of the bridges (and that weird PacMan ghost - now we have a HUGE wasp) |

Well, it's JSD's one year anniversary. A new update was supposed to be released today, but I just got plain lazy and didn't finish it =(.

The new JSD will only have a single grayscale palette so it will work with just about any set of sprites.
