I did have a Megaman level once, made for 1.23, but after I accidentally opened it in the TSF version of JCS it wouldn't work on 1.23. Go figure!
![]() I spent about 1-2 weeks on this level. Here's a screenshot I took months ago before I screwed it up: ![]() This level was part of a 4 level pack called Mega Jackrabbit I was making about 6 months ago. |

Here are screenshots of my battle level for Purplejazz's contest. It is loosely based on a Tomb Raider level, 'Temple of Karnak', and of course inspired by all the temple levels of Tomb Rabbit. If you're familiar with Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation, you may notice the Great Hypostyle Halls and the Sacred Lake I put into the level. It is not based on the real life Karnak temple complex.
Temple of Karnak is finished, but needs betatesting before I either upload it, or send it to Purplejazz. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by White Rabbit; Apr 19, 2007 at 10:24 AM. |

I'm hosting a public betatest right now. Join if you feel like it.
EDIT: In case you want to join, the server is now down. Last edited by White Rabbit; Apr 19, 2007 at 08:33 AM. |

I suppose it's a battle level?
I never really played battles, but... I think that during such a fast-paced game, the layout of the level should be clearer. It's hard to make out quickly where you can go, what you can stand on and stuff like that...

Some parts of the level plays a bit like a singleplayer level, but I hope people won't have any trouble, and it was intentional to that sort of feel to it, as both Tomb Raider and Tomb Rabbit were great single player adventures that I and many other people enjoyed. My betatesters didn't report any large navigational issues either.
I've also tried to be consistent in the masking of tiles, so if one type of tile is solid, then they all are, unlike sometimes in Tomb Rabbit (with the exception of the obelisk in the middle of the Sacred Lake). I wasn't as inventive in the tile usage as Kejero was, I'm afraid. ![]() Last edited by White Rabbit; Apr 19, 2007 at 12:31 PM. |

For those of you who don't know what this is, it is an AN level made by me and Birdie. (Thx to DS for hosting)
Just a few comments on each of the pics: 1. The start room where you choose whether you are a solider or the leader. The crates are inside "Allen's Groceries" :P 2. Coins have been tripled by the use of MCEs. 3. BIRDIE CAN'T MOVE! 4. PJ has been out for a long drink. |

Good luck with that level. To this day, Egypt is still difficult for me to use. It's probably Agama's least flexible tilesets.

Nice.
And, uh, yeah, Purplejazz has all the rights to publish that Carrotus Fix Diamondus Night version he made. Thought I'd clear it up if anyone would ever wonder about it. And stuff.

![]() Floating Crystals, Lizards on helicopter thingies throwing bombs at rabbits??? ![]() This level is called Crystal Caves, BTW. I'm using the underused Crysilis tileset. I know it's missing the flashing arrows and some bits aren't masked correctly but it's the only Crysilis set available right now. There will be 2 levels. One is the level you can see right now, and the other is going to be a Bonus level. I know there isn't many items there right now. That's because I'm currently doing the Level layout. |
