I have now decided to call my level "Action Station."
Here is another screen: ![]() ARGH! Why did I upload it as JPG?! |

You shouldn't use foreground tiles in the background. Otherwise not bad.
Well, some slight tile-bugs, but that's nothing. |

Update on Memories 2: Radiant Garden
So I just recently finished, or at least 99% done, Castle of Mysteries. It uses Blades newest set, Fortress of Forgotton Souls. Quite a hard one to learn. And pretty tough to build Eyecandy in the brick tiles. Anyway, here's a few shots of the recent level.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The last picture has a nice impression of spaz acting like a retard. Anyway, as for the rest of the pack, I'm not sure if I'll be continuing this pack, meaning, it will only contain thr 4 levels it has now. But I'll be starting in a new genre of level making, not CTF or Battle anymore, but Flag run and Assault and a few others for JDC events and things like that. But if I do change my mind, you might see one more level in this pack, if not, exspect a release in late August. ~Hitch

The spikes in the walls just looks ugly to me. Still looks decent though.

Hitch: why are you using the background bricks on layer 3? Otherwise it looks good even if the walls need work.
Dx: interesting take on Carrotus there.

It's hard to create eyecandy in the bricks, I thought the black made a nice touch to it, though it's just me.

You're getting there, hitch.
Interesting style with carrotus, dx. |

I don't, hills should be built with filled tiles (FILLED I TELL YOU!!). And these rooms remind me of crappy hotel rooms that are linked with warps.

I'm pretty impressed by the Carrotus pictures Dx, but what Iconguy said made me think about something... The logs look like they've intentionally been placed by someone but yet there is a load of moss or leaves and vines all over the place- Looks unreal to me. Not like it matters, it still looks good. One thing I dislike however is that the logs bend (which I dont think I've ever seen in real life, baring in mind that this is a game still) and that they aren't very well separated from eachother, at least you thought about supporting them with vertical logs. ;P On a sidenote, it does look as if there are little rooms, except that's not a bad thing.
(I feel like I just rambled on pointlessly, it looks good. ;o) |

My only problem with it is the minimalistic background and middleground tiles clashes on occasion with the cluttered and messy-feeling foreground tiles. Its most apparent to me as feeling 'off' in these two screens.
The one where Jazz is on a vine hook and the vines fill up the areas between the other hooks looks extremely great and is an exception to what I mentioned. There has never been a post on this forum more worthy of a high-five than this one. |

Rag: At a guess, the wooden structure was build before the moss grew all around.

Gosh you guys made so many typos that Im not even gonna bother correcting them. D:
That doesn't explain the bending logs Cooba D:. And also, yeah Iconguy is right once again, ;[ I care too much about the little things... BUT BUT BUT, nonetheless it still looks good D;. Edit: I thought this post was too negative, so I'm gonna say something fun. I like cheese. |

![]() Obviously there isn't any layer 6/7 eyecandy yet. This is a really small but very vertical level. But when there is this level is supposed to be built around a waterfall in the middle of a jungle (that explains it's name and why it is so dependent on the Y-axis). Also, it's named after the music, os_mdstream.xm. This is at the very bottom. P.S.: Yay for pits! NOT

Firrst of all, I think you should have added the layer 6/7 eyecandy before uploading just to make it look as good as you possibly can, I mean these screenshots don't actually show much about gameplay... Is that a race? A CTF? - So probably showing off your EC should be shown more... And also, if I'm not mistaken isn't a stream like a river? I probably am wrong, I hate geography. ;( (I'm also curious if that level has pits or not, because if it has, why would you say "Yay for pits! NOT" D:. Anyway anyway, it still looks good ;o.
And erm, PJ, I can only assume that's a battle (I guess I'm right o.0) and so I'm wondering, is there a lot of water in that level, or is that just the bottom? It looks quite nice and I wasn't quite aware such a pallete existed ;o. (I bet its either made by PJ or IC) D: |

And thank you! ;D - EDIT: A small little update: ![]() Added the BG eyecandy now. (P.S: If you look at one of the blue springs, you might see what you think is a tile bug. If you look more closely, that is a water fall in the background. ;

Rag's criticism is going overboard.
