Done. I will check out your JJ1 pack, Blacky, and I'll find something else of yours to do, Rag (lol, I think I've reviewed like five of your uploads in the last couple weeks).

Thanks!

kk thanks, keep in mind there's some noticeable differences between difficulty modes. I'll review your latest request (Death Star) unless you want me to choose something different :)

@Raggy, Blacky:

My reviews on both of your levels are done.

P.S. - (to Rag) I also deleted a couple of really lousy and inept reviews I wrote on your levels. Sorry to waste your time with that junk.

Finished yours, been busy and it took a while to find people to play it with but hope the detailed review should make up for it. :P

Also posting this for future reference if anyone wants to do an exchange, hit me up. I don't write reviews anymore ever except if someone wants to do a trade, and I'll really probably only have time to write one up over a weekend sometime (don't expect it right away) but I guarantee i'll do it eventually if I agree to the exchange. So just ask me and if you want a review and I'll suggest something of mine in exchange (PM me if you want a quicker response or something).

@ pt32: rebounding that with http://www.jazz2online.com/downloads...for-the-vodka/. I'll get yours done this weekend cuz its a standalone SP and wont take me long to play & criticize :P. I'll check out the updated version of your death star map too but I dunno if anyone will be on when I have time to play this.

@king487 I'll check yours out too. Can you review this in exchange? (I wanna see how many reviews I can rack up). Also, your megaupload link for the music was nerfed by the feds

You know, your level IS up for the "Anniversary Bash" this year, so somebody obviously thinks it's good.

In any case, I can certainly review it for you, if you'll do mine. I was going to review Carrotus Lake anyway, so it's no trouble for me.

Just as long as the Death Star re-review's relatively timely (what with the aforementioned Bash and all), I don't mind too much. Also, thanks for your review on Cold Flash, and I'll download your requested level and play/criticize it posthaste!

Because I don't play Jazz 2 on J2O. I play it on a private Local Area Network.

That, and the fact that I played the last couple of levels by myself, since I was in a hurry.

Can anyone review RoE episode 2? http://www.jazz2online.com/downloads...r-of-darkness/ It's up to you to decide to give full reviews, or quick reviews.

If anyone did, state here and I will review one of your levels in return.

Are you a good JJ2 player??

Years ago I started making a few JJ2 levels, working on them only very infrequently. After all this time they have finally been finished though! I always found the official JJ2 levels did not pose enough of a challenge, so the levels I made are far more difficult. They are not cramped with enemies or bosses, but tactically positioning them just makes life harder. If any of you like to try:

http://www.jazz2online.com/downloads...ries-9-levels/

I do not ask for a review but I do wonder if anyone will be able to finish these levels. If you can, you should be very proud of yourself!

I should give a warning beforehand about the last level (9). Personally I never finished the last level in this series because it is extremely tough and can from time to time be buggy. Just consider level 9 a bonus.
Also, in some levels there is a "puzzle". Especially the one in level 7 will take some thinking to figure out. Possibly the best way to do it is to draw it out on paper and take some time off the computer. If any of them is really too much I'd like to know.

Then one last point: There is no overflow of ammo, coins, or other goodies. Almost all coins are required to finish the levels, they are often not for bonuses. Also, saving special bullets for later might help you, so I recommend using normal ones as often as possible.

Good luck to any who feels like giving it a try. These will probably be the hardest levels you've played so don't get upset! Cherish every life you have, although theoretically you need not get hit by anything.

EGFPE3 has a level with 128 animated tiles, a level with bleeding walls, a level with a colorblind-friendly version, a level that was made while COMPLETELY HIGH, and backgrounds made to be as eye-searing as possible for Low Detail users. And no reviews.

If you don't review it, the next episode will probably make it even easier to die.

I'm still looking for reviews for these two levels. I don't mind whether you choose to write a quick or a full review; I'm just looking for more opinions. However, if you write a decent full review, I write either four quick reviews or one full review in return, depending on whatever you'd prefer.

Ever since angelscript was implemented into JJ2, people were making more and more scripted levels and like 50% of the community forgot about the tradition of JCS.
I'm not saying angelscript is a bad thing, It's just that alot of people judge the level just by the quality or numbers of the scripty effects. woo!

So 50% of the community is SE. Well alrighty then.

Most levels that come out still aren't scripted, or use very simple ones. If the non-scripted entries are high quality too, they'll probably used in some later ODT.

Highly scripted levels give good first impressions because of the novelty factor, but once you play them for a while, players get a better idea of how good the level actually is. It doesn't automatically make a level better.

To me angle script sucks. Not because its bad, but its programmic language and complicated way to implement functions just give me a headache. Its too hard to use [Incase of me only. I don't know how hard it seems to others].
