I have the 1.00h version
I can't find anything out about this OEM version except that it's apparently identical to 1.00g, but people were even doubting it's existence. My disc is rotting but I played through it recently and it worked just fine. The last level says "this level is not done" at the boss fight and I beat him with one hit. I found that funny.
Edit: Oh, the intro and ending are both there but without sound effects. Could just be my disc, but I don't know. Last edited by Will; Aug 20, 2017 at 04:26 PM. Reason: Added things. |

I'd suggest backing up the data on the disc, as 1.00h isn't very common online.
There are differences, but aside from the g being turned into a h, I don't know what any of them are. |

I will do that when I get home, as well as providing a picture of the disc itself.

Neither actually runs for me on Windows 10, so take this with a grain of salt. But the important files for both versions (Anims.j2a, Jazz2.exe, Data.j2) are identical, and both contain the same levels, so there are likely no important differences that concern the game itself. The difference is more likely to be in distribution; 1.00h contains readme and license files that 1.00g doesn't, as well as an uninstaller. Some files that seem to be only good for debugging are removed as well.
Extrapolating, I think it is likely that Epic decided their OEM release needed some extra cleanup at some point, and upped the version number to reflect that this was a new iteration of their release. But the game itself seems unchanged. (Curiously, there's a CARD.GID file in my 1.00g release, which seems to belong to an unrelated card game... could this be the missing link to Jazz Jackrabbit's Poker Broker????) |

I've run both versions of 1.00 on my Windows 10 PC in the past...

Above all eles, that disc printed artwork looks nicer than any other Jazz disc ever released. I love when they leave parts of the artwork unprinted to give it shine, instead of a fully printed artwork like the Project2 JJ2 released did.
Perhaps try backing up the disc and move it to an online storage.

The first JJ2 version I have ever played with is 1.00h. Some years later, I got TSF from my cousin and 1.20 and 1.24x from a friend.

I was going to upload this ages ago, but lost access to my account and forgot about it. This is a rip of the install of my Jazz2 OEM disc.

Not sure linking that is allowed here, but thanks nonetheless.
