In 2006 A handheld was released called the VG POCKET CABLET which included 50 games!

What has this to do with Jazzjackrabbit? Nothing with the exception that one of the games called ‘‘Adventures of Walldog’‘ has graphics ripped from Carrotus.

Just something cool I found on youtube. Watch the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=DGjGRb8Z-Jk#t=264s

Of the possible design decisions one could take from JJA, that would not have been high on my list.

if you look closely around 2:15 you will see that they also ripped some graphics from space invaders

Nice find! Btw recently I saw one level in The Lion King in which the tileset suspiciously looks a lot like this Jazz 2 tileset. It’s the 6-th level: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bv6a_sztA24 What do you think?

Yeah, Nick Stadler drew heavily from The Lion King while drawing some tilesets. You can find more examples and comparison pictures here. (Not included is the above-ground sections of Colon, which Nick has stated were inspired by the town sections of the Aladdin game.)

That remind me that the PDC from VideoJet and the gameclick from Lexibook also had jj2 rips
