I have an autistic grandson who loves to play Jazz Jackrabbit. He sometimes accidently hits the WinKey during a heated battle and he has difficulty recovering. I’ve made a batch file to disable the WinKey when he starts start a DOS Jazz Jackrabbit game and then restart it when he quits. However, I can’t reliably do this with his Jazz Jackrabbit 2 games. Does anyone have a patch to do this? Or can anyone give me instructions how to do it reliably? Putting Disable WinKey in the Startup is OK as long as I’m here to install his games, but for future use I need an idiot-proof method that I can put into a batch file or an executable that works with the game shortcut. Or maybe a script to change the registry that can be run when the game is installed or started.
Does anybody else besides me miss this site’s exquisitely delightful polls? Does any other individual on J2O mourn the extended absence of the quirky questions about anything from the revival of Jazz 3 to the merits of cucumber food events versus apple food events? Miss the silly solicitations? The goofy gregariousness? The tongue-in-cheek cheekiness? Has true happiness left your world forever?
Unless you’ve confused this for a Miley Cyrus innocence eulogy, this may well be the post for you.
If elected, this post will do anything and everything in its power to bring the much-beloved Poll option back to Jazz2Online. It will champion the cause of liberty and justice, bringing the light of life and happiness back to this dark, meaningless world that for so long has had to live without the pleasure of feeling its vocal chords vibrate and produce rapid, high-pitched noises.
That’s laughter to all you uninitiated folks.
Seriously, though. Let’s bring it back.

For my birthday, I decided to post another demo off my Jazz Jackrabbit Advance remix album. This one’s a remix of the credits theme, a song I believe most liked of those from this particular game by fans. Have a listen here:

Sorry this has nothing to do with Jazz Jackrabbit. I am trying to get in contact with one of the other members on this site. We used to be good friends at the same school in london. We would talk star trek voyager and about this game during computer class when you should have been doing computer stuff. lol You also moved from one province to another province. If you remember this then please contact me. Sorry for the inconvence to other fellow members.

Not sure this would qualify as news, but I am putting this up to remind/encourage myself to finish an SP pack I gave up on a couple of years back (Dreamscape), which got some positive feedback and after taking a long hiatus from this game I’ve found motivation to complete it.
For those who haven’t played the first release, it is available here -> http://www.jazz2online.com/downloads/5784/dreamscape/ (Reviews are always appreciated :P)
Currently I’ve completed several additional levels, made the storyline more coherent, and updated the previous levels from criticisms i’ve received over the yrs. As I’ve said before (when I released the first version) this will be my final work in JCS so I’m gonna try fairly hard to get it out of the door (in a finished state this time!) :D/ . ETA is “when its done”, but a completed release could be possible early next year.
So….gg?
