This is my second\third tileset I’ve created. There are actually two tilesets included, Blue Blocks and Green Blocks, Green Blocks being an older version of Blue Blocks. An example level is included.
OK….I have Green Blocks already….and its nice for test levels (those really annoying levels that those SSB people make :-)
The blue version is better (Blue Rocks!)
and has textured background. The Letters are OK, but I think they would be prettier if they were in a block (i.e. Totally Insanity)
Added Note: Sowwy? Thats strange language you are speaking iCeD…
I think those 2 tilesets are really boring. One of the tilesets, the blue one has a half textured background (I play in 8bit, textures need also to be good in other modes then 16bit!)
As for the blocks itself.. Basicly it are seven blocks.
Empty Blue Block with border – Same one but goes to a vine – vine
45 degrees blocks – and some background block.
The other blocks won’t even be used by people I think. That’s why this set get’s a 5.7 from me.
I’m sorry, but I don’t like this much at all. This is a pretty small tileset with some basic blue blocks and a non-working textured bg (well, it looks fine on 16-bit, but doesn’t look so hot on 8-bit), some of the tiles are pretty useless and overall I can’t say there’s much of a reason to download this below average tileset. Sowwy.
Est-ce que tu parle anglais? Ah oui, monsieur! Je parle allemand aussi. Trés bien, heh?
Err…yes, the tileset: i pretty much agree with iCED. Despite the fact there are about 30 nice useful tiles (and about 50 letter tiles), i don’t like the overall look of the set too much. It’s too simple, somehow, and it doesn’t have enough really helpful stuctures or objects for an ambitious level project. Sorry, it’s slightly below the average i think and therefore not really worth the diskspace.
The idea of including a green and a blue version (i choose Blue! :-) is nice, but doesn’t even add a tenth to my rating. Excusez-moi.
By the way: the example level is…odd (as the name promises :). Not really playable (it even needs letters saying “This is a level”…uh-oh ;).
The tileset is not bad, but it isn’t good. It has some usefull tiles and a textured background that only works well in 16-bit.
The blue version is not bad, but it don’t get a d/l recommendation from Me.
I have seen green blocks and it is not as good as blue.
reasons:
1.Blue is a better color than green
2.the blue has more back grounds
I am just gonna shut up now and rate it instead of comparing it!Ok,This was a very cool tileset sooooo i am gonna rate it a 7.7
