Jazz Jackrabbit 2
The Growing Walls
Level by: AtomicFelineDW
Tileset:Diamondus
Size:256x64
Music:Diamond.j2b
This level was inspired to be created by my best friend who wishes to be
Anonymous. It's a good example of a Diamondus tileset. I wish to show my
great appreciation to this wonderfully designed and useful tileset. Its
hard to go wrong with it as there is almost always a way to make the tile
lining fit perfectly. As much fun as this tileset is and its way of looking
complex, but in truth it's simplicity, I am going to try a different
tileset next time and it probably will be a tileset that I will use for a
battle level.
HINT:
Many of you guys may have a hard time on the level, especially finding the
silver crate. Its (here I go, giving away secrets...) in the place of the
collapsing scenery with the island and the spikes surrounding it, there is
a hole in one of the walls along the side of the pit. It will lead to a
poster of a wanted jazz sign and there will be the silver crate. I used
invisable tiles in certain places and u can't get past 'em without smashing
this crate. Of course its more fun to go though the level to see what will
get changed because there is a pit at a certain spot that U NEED to smash
the crate for. If u try and jump over it, invisable tiles will block ur
way.
Smash the crate and a whole Ground bridge will span across the pit and the
invisable tiles will dissappear. Its quite kewl how I did it. If u can't
find the crate, press F9 twice to see ur position and follow them to these
coordinates: 167,34. This will be the exact location of the crate. :)
No y2k glitch (I knew there wouldn't be. ;). Nothing quite special at my
house. For those of you who care to know, my cat has been acting very cute
lately. :) My B-day is coming up on jan. 20th. I will be 16! I already
recieved some early presents. I got a Gravis Gamepad Pro, Holiday Hare 98,
a NEW sound card, new speakers, Tyrian 2000 (A kewl game thats actually a
update of the game Epic used to have. You can order all 5 episodes from
xsivgames.com. Instead of 4 episodes its 5 this time... really kewl...),
also a insignificant game called prezel pete... When Christmas chronicles
comes out, I will order it online as well for my b-day.
Many thanks for my Border from school who beta tested it and my friend
