Jazz Jackrabbit 2 Online

First this:

Cooba, this is classified as a Jazz remix, which is allowed. Keep it in mind people, read the rules for god’s sake! :p

And Bjarni, Jazz 2 version 1.23 can play modules of other formats than .j2b You can always use Modplug (recommended due to repeat option) or Winamp to play those files

Ok, enough ranting, time for a review!

Tubelectric in Xmas style, this I gotta see (read: hear :p). Red with green? Since Tubelectric is my favourite music, I’ll be very strict, or just the opposite :p

It doesn’t sound bad, not bad at all. It’s somewhat downplayed, soothing music the the necessary samples you always hear in those christmas songs :p Nothing to it if you ask me. Of course, how could I forget the repeat option of ModPlug (I always have that thing on :p). Even on repeat it doesn’t sound ehm… broken :p The only thing I found disappointing is that it’s not “complete”: I found some sample missing from the orignal and it doesn’t always follow the original. That doesn’t hurt the remix that much tho, it still sounds good.

Verdict:
Since this is the first Tubelectric remix and the new author seems experience in tracking, i’ll rate this mildly: a 7. I’m looking forward to new stuff from him already :p

It can’t be submitted if it isn’t a gameplay part! Unfortunately, this will be deleted. But beware everyone, 2nd part of my episode “Familiar World” is in development. I want to place here this music, so it won’t lost forever…

Hey, only .j2b musics works on jazz jackrabbit 2, I’m saying that because you much understand that .j2b can only work on jazz jackrabbit 2! Others works for TSF only!

I can listen to the music, but it doesn’t works for jj2, don’t bug me to rate this, I won’t! No excuse because I won’t!

at the first place: Why ar ther SPIKE BOLS in a battle?! OMG!

1-good eyecandy
2-the forground layer really anyoing!
3-the battle is very strange, and the spikes ar stupid to!
4-some ammo
5-carrots?

i give this a 6.5.

make more battles but not such a strange whans!

Being new is no excuse for being extremely bad, on the other hand.

aaahhhhh here is my review.

Eyecandy:
i don`t see eyecandy!!! This is horrible really ugly background that doesn`t fit together. The rest is also not fitting together.

Enemy placement:
prrrrr!!! Not good to many of a kind.

Item placement:
Sucks!!! What can i say it is not good
to many ammo of all kinds strange places to get the items it is not good.

Other:
uuuggghhh!!! The level is to short i think 30 seconds without the boss than.
btw i didn`t remember music o and with that tileset you could make it a lot better.

Don`t hurry with levels take your time here a 1.2 it deserve`s it.

Well here is my review.

Eyecandy:
Wow!!! The eyecandy is really good no ugly thing everyware great.

Enemy placement:
really great!!! Enough enemy`s to keep it fun. You see enemy`s like dragons,tuf turtle,norm turtle and bats.

Item placement:
Perfect!!! i love it enough ammo like bouncers with powerup freezers with powerup and seekers with no powerup.
in the level you also find some gems and food o and coins. In the level there are much carrots a little bit to much.

Others:
a dream!!! The level has secrets a shop a boss and it`s a big level.

I love it here is your /8.5\

Eyecandy:
Fine!!! The eycandy is not really good but also not really bad.

Enemy placement:
Good!!! enough to make the level interesting. You need to fight Bees,norm turtles and more.

Item placement:
Good!!! There is enough ammo enough food enough gems and coins and a shop.

Other:
Great!!! There are some triggers secrets and a boss. The level is a little bit short but not to short.

DONT SWEAR TO HIM! hes new and i think he knows the basicly thinks of JCS coobda and DX your levels are not nice to! mine are bad to! cooba, hes new, he cant make the best level ever, give him a chance!

not good!!! the eyecandy is not good.
okay not really bad but it could be a lot lot lot better.

Enemy placement:
Sucks!!! Do you think it`s fun to have 1 million enemy`s on your ass.

Item placement:
Bad!!! to many blue gems.
No food just 1 hamburger.
2 1ups on 1 place bad.

Other:
Awfull!!! the levels are Really short.
What am i saying levels i mean level all the three levels are exactly the same only other collors like day and night. The only good thing is the music.

I really hate this level dont`t do this ever again a 2.2 for me.

Oke!!! You just a lot of layers and things to make it look better.

Enemy palcement:
That`s allright!!! It have`s a lot of enemy`s like craps,bees,ravens and stuff. On some places i think there are to many enemies.

Item placement:
Great!!! Hmmmmm it has ammo but not that much. It have enough food for a year to live a little bit to much. It has coins to and a lot of triggers.

Tileset:
That`s good!!! The tileset is small but you can do a lot with it.
the tileset have things of jungle,inferno and beach a min.

others:
cool!!! It have a lot of jumping.
There is one place with a lot a trigger scenery but if you get sugar rush there you can destroy the triggers trough the ground a min and a plus for that. On some places it is a little bit confusion what the ground and background is. The levels is not to short not to long.

I like it but it could be better a 8

Wow nice eyacandy! this rocks! Oene min. is to much i do 54 sec. about it. very nice! when i said to you you must make a race i was know its will be a succes\!

Eyecandy:
Really good!!! The background is really great. The eyecandy is better than the standard jazz2 inferno.

Enemy placement:
Really great!!! It have`s just enough enemy`s. And the enemy`s you have to face are skeletons,ravens,Suckers.

Item placement:
Great!!! It has two kinds of ammo bouncer en toaster.
It has also coins,gems,chekpoints and more.

Other:
Okay!!! The level is a little bit to short. It has a little story but not really good. The music is okay.

I like the level really much could be a little bit longer but still really good it deserve`s a 8.2.

Eyecandy:
Really bad it`s just black okay you also had some textures on layer 5 but that was also not good.

Enemy placement:
Also really bad you have all kinds of enemies like monkey and rats but it doesn`t fit in the level.

Item placement:
What can i say it have`s ammo,gems,food and extra lives o and a checkpoint.

Others:
The level is really short.
Never hide a first level in home cooked.

I don`t like it really mutch next time spend more time in levels.
I give it a 2.

Cobra, Spy and DX, don’t underrate this! The basis of the level is fine. I like the layer 5 too. The enemies have variation, but make more of them. Make a background too, that makes it much better. Eyecandy sucks, but I like the gameplay (I know I suck). Too short.

Conclusion: It’s nice for a beginner, but I know you aren’t… lol!

Don`t rate low because you dont know the password. Try to host it or find it in home cooked levels to test it. Maybe it`s too big for that. And if your blind, just read the readme. You will find the password. I don`t say it lol of course not you have to find out Sheriff-Murder.
