indeed a very nice level, but the music you chosed is to bad! not a jungle song!
bah, change music and make it longer.
overall a nice level, but if it were longer, it could be even more cool

love this level! isn’t it all that snowy? with both moving starts, as snowball said, in the background and snow particle in the foreground, that is reason enough for me to call it Snowy(‘s) cft.
make it bigger and place the ammo in another way, and this level would be great!

Graphics are fine. I’m not going to mention graphics.
Lots of tiles. Huge amount of sucker tubes, not to mention vines, hooks, H-poles, no spikes, no text signs (though there are plenty of things to use as spikes), no exit signs, not quite working ladders, basic blocks, eyecandy, etc.
Masking’s pretty bad.
Usability decent, even though for all the backgrounds you have to use layer 5. 6 and 7, after all, are taken by background apartment buildings.
Most of the tiles can be found in schoolv2, this is really giving everything a 3D look, with mixed results. Makes things look better, but it does make the tileset harder to use then it is already. The tile placement’s fine, though.
The author went a little overboard on gradients, some textures on the characters instead of gradients might have been nice. Ok, so I did mention graphics.
Despite how cool this is, I can’t honestly say I really like it. It’s mostly made well, it has lots of tiles, but still I don’t like it. Can’t put my finger on why.

Err… not nice? So this tileset got good reviews from 6 (not counting me) top reviewers and j2o addicts, and it’s not nice?!?!?!?

As for the review, I think you have heard enough of it from the other reviewers.[This review has been edited by RSPSS FR]

Distopia
EvilMike’s “Distopia”, which uses the excellent “War Torn Night” tile set by Toxic Bunny, is arguably one of the most famous Capture the Flag levels of all time, and is definitely one of my favorites. It’s not because it’s the best level ever. It is very good, but it’s not a perfect level in any respect, but the fun of both casual and competitive (especially casual) player in the level makes it one of the best plays around. At first glance, Distopia is a fairly standard Capture the Flag fare. The level consists of two bases on the bottom but opposite sides of the levels. The rest of the level consists of two passageways in the middle and a “sucker tube tunnel” of sorts. The rest of the level is stacked upon the base. While this layout may sound a bit focused on the bottom of the level, the placement of the items and carrots make it run extremely smoothly. This even distribution is accomplished by the placement of the full energy carrot and the seeker power-up. The seeker power-up is placed more or less in the middle of the level. It’s pretty much a necessity to have the seeker power-up during normal game play, since other than the bouncy power-up (which loses some value because much of the level consists of open area) it’s the only ammo that isn’t basic, non power-up. Flow is definitely one of the level’s strong points, which partially comes from its fairly typical layout. While the level does not take any risks in layout, it still has an extremely good flow. During game play, I never was annoyed by accidentally running into walls. The only part that could ever give beginners trouble would be the carrot, since it is easy to miss the platform that it is on and fall down, requiring you to loop back in order to get the carrot. Getting from base to base was fairly easy. The only complaint I could think of was that the level did not give much time for a low-life (low in health, that is) to get from the base to the carrot or the seeker power-up and then back. Because it is so easy to get from base to base, the opponent could simply score several times while the player was off getting the carrot. The level is fairly small, but not enough so to be considered “tiny.” Weapon placement was very good, but if it wasn’t for the seeker power-up, one could say that the ammo would be a bit on the light side. As for the location of the ammo, I have no complaints, other than that the bouncy power-up seems to have just been placed out in the open, where you wouldn’t exactly expect a power-up, but that’s as much an eyecandy thing as it is a weapon placement thing. Eyecandy is outstanding. The tile set, “War Torn Night” by Toxic Bunny, is a diverse tile set featuring what looks like a city. I can’t completely say that it looks as “War Torn” as the name may suggest, but it still is a great tile set for this level. There isn’t a ton of eyecandy, but even the normal blocks look so good that it still doesn’t detract from the level’s quality that there is not much outright eyecandy. There are, as is usual with levels of this ilk, absolutely no eyecandy glitches that I could notice, and the tile set was used perfectly. I wouldn’t expect any less from EvilMike, and this level isn’t disappointing in any respect. While Distopia may not use some complex amazing trigger system that is to revolutionize level making, it has been extremely influential on today’s level making. It doesn’t have much flash or gee-whiz features, but Distopia is an example of a simple but great level at its best. It doesn’t feature much more than the fundamentals, but fundamentals are where it excels in. It’s hard not to like this level. It’s fun, enjoyable, and always a good play, especially when it isn’t in a tournament environment. A great Capture the Flag level that anyone could learn something with, and definitely worth a download. An 8.7 might not seem as high as this level deserves, but it is, after all, small and not complex. It’s still an amazing level. Download this now. You won’t regret it.[This review has been edited by Trafton AT]

AH, YES, FLYING PUMPKINS! BEST LEVELS EVER LOLOLOl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, this is an intentionally bad pack, obviously. And this is a classic look at n00b levels. In fact, it it almost completely stereotyping every n00bism out there. Yes, everything here is a joke on one or more aspects of n00bish levelmaking. Bad eyecandy, weapon clumping, that and a bag of chips. So, is this worth downloading? No. Is this bad? Yes, but it is bad in a good way. I’m not sure what I am talking about, so I will give this a 1.5 and go off to sulk in the corner, waiting for my sanity to return.
