This is one of my first reviews but here it goes
Good points:
1.Its a pack!
2.Nice Detail
3.Nice tilesets
4.Good use of eyecandy
5.Nice Wepon placement
BAD PONTS:1.To many wepons
2. Not enough game play!
-DrAkEIt’s a novel concept, maybe too novel for me…
A great program. Worked like a charm 90% of the time against laser shield crash. 100 crashes were reduced to 12. Outstanding.
Trafton: there is a bug that causes no Start Pos errors, so I will have to lower the rating. Sorry.[This review has been edited by Trafton AT]
The timestamps reveal all. This collection is OK, but not worth the download.
These “minigames” should be included in the level as just things that happen, not the entire level. Bad, very bad. AND NO NEXT LEVEL, SHAME ON YOU!
Already been done, but useful nonetheless.[This review has been edited by Trafton AT]
This level is poor. And, for calling it legendary, you get another downgrade.
Alright, so this is a level using a fairly little-known method of making certain layers smaller so the contents of the level are randomly generated by Jazz Jackrabbit 2. Weird, indeed. But what is even is weirder is why the author chose to upload this. Also, a more proper description should be in order. This level causes an access violation almost every time it is ran for most people. For those who are able to get it to work, it is not much more interesting. While the idea of a new JJ2 concept is interesting, it certainally gets old quick. Pure novelty, indeed. No download recommendation at all.[This review has been edited by Trafton AT]
This really takes all the point out of QoB.[This review has been edited by ShadowGPW]
I like it, but there’s not much changed. Sorry, but only a 5.5.
It’s an interesting concept, but I think the level needs a bit of work before it is ready for prime time.
Dull, not very interesting. A good effort, but it just doesn’t look very good…
This is a crappy concept with an even more crappy level. Avoid at all costs.
This was not actually made by Mr. Nimrod, and thus should not be rated. This program, contrary to my stupid earlier review, does not speed up connection to the list server – it allows it. You must have this program to connect to any Secret Files servers (assuming you have TSF). If you don’t have it, it will attempt (and fail) to contact the old, quite dead list server. If you have TSF, download this now.[This review has been edited by Trafton AT]
Wow. Astounding. This is one of the best packs of all time.
I am afraid I can not review this in full, but let’s just say that this pack is simply astounding and definitely one of the most under-reviewed (not underrated, persay) packs of all time on J2O. The eyecandy, gameplay, and everything is stunning. This is what all level packs should be like.[This review has been edited by Trafton AT]
Mad Structure CTF, ahh yes I need to rate some more. Here goes!
Eyecandy: This CTF level has fairly simple eyecandy. Nothing too detailed or complicated. It consists of mainly square blocks and some grassy areas at the bottom. There are a few ups and downs in the level, but still very boring and simple. Layer 5 has no variety, just the same old thing. This goes with almost all of the other layers. Try to add more detail and excitement in your eyecandy to make the level more interesting.
Gameplay: I have little to say about the gameplay. Again, sort of simple. It mainly consists of platforms with springs leading to one another, which I have to say doesn’t make the level very pleasurable to play in. Nothing special in this catagory.
Weapons/Placement: The amount of weapons was sparse in some areas, yet too many in others. Try to put ammo in all different areas of the level to make it more interesting (as I have said before.) All of the powerups were hidden at the edges of the level, where you had to find the warps to get them. The problem I had with that was that if you don’t really know the level, you have a disadvantage when playing because you have no idea where any of the powerups are. I think 1 or 2 powerups can be hidden, but no more than that.
Mad Structure CTF is a fairly plain and simple level. I can’t really give a download recommendation, sorry Maddie.Nat and Pavlik, don’t rate your own stuff.
(Explained by they are brothers.)
And there where no download count until I downloaded.[This review has been edited by Møøñßlãzé aka Zãr¢h]
