Favourite new JJ2+ feature?
/ready 3 votes (7%)
Scripting support 28 votes (73%)
Fireball gun 2 votes (5%)
Anti-gravity 1 vote (2%)
New lighting events 2 votes (5%)
Other 2 votes (5%)
Total votes: 38

Well, that’s unambiguous. Looks like anti-grav didn’t get a big turnout, but then it is noticeably unfinished. In any case, it’s definitely time to move on and ask something else! So what’s the best JJ1 episode? Even if you don’t have the full version of JJ1 (and if you don’t, uh oh), you’ve still got three shareware episodes to choose from, plus plenty of youtube videos to help you out in identifying the rest.

The vote percentages don’t add up to 100%: 7+73+5+2+5+5 = 97.
This has been bugging me for weeks, and it’s nice to be able to mention it.

As for the current poll, I’m going to have to play Jazz 1 again, since it was quite a while since I “completed” it, and I’ve only managed to “complete” it once(The quotes are because I didn’t manage to beat all the A, B, and C Bonus episodes from the CD version. Although, I was quite close, and I only didn’t beat it because I accidentally erased my save file). XD

Right, I’m off to play Jazz 1 to decide which episode is my favourite, and perhaps finally beat all 3 CD Bonus episodes. :D

Oh, and about the “And if you don’t, uh oh”, there’s always eBay(Although there’s a bit of pot luck with that, related to the over 9000 different versions of the game, with most of them being boxed versions of the Shareware Demo). :)

(Wow, this post is longer than I intended. XD)

TL;DR: The percentages add up to 97%, I need to play Jazz 1 again, and eBay still occasionally sells Jazz 1.

Nvm.

It hurts to see that comment and I wish you were a troll.

If you have 3 options and each gets one vote, each has a rounded 33% of votes and 3*33%=99%. So the percentages don’t add up to 100% either — magic! I’m afraid that therefore it’s not J2O’s fault, go report this bug to God instead.

I guess the solution is to have the standard for counting converted to Base 12. XD

Slaz on 3 Apr 2013 at 22:34

The solution would be to reinvent math and mess with the space time continuum..

And my fav episode in JJ1 is Ballistic Bunny. Even though I’m no fan of Orbitus, Technoir and Letni are among my most enjoyed levels.

Love & Thunder on 3 Apr 2013 at 22:49

Orbitus isn’t that bad. And the music’s so catchy that it was stuck in my head for weeks after I first played it.
Although, that gap section… (Shudders)

I’m surprised nobody else has picked The Final Clash yet. Marbelara and Battleships were two of my favorite planets; Marbelara was visually interesting, and Battleships felt really cool and alien when I was 6, at least. The music…

To be fair though, attempting to convert Technoir gave me quite a bias against Ballistic Bunny. The reflective goop…

Slaz on 4 Apr 2013 at 12:03

Marbelara was episode 5, The Final Clash has Jungrock as the first planet. But I agree about Battleships, it has such an overwhelming coolness factor.

“Marbelara and Battleships were two of my favorite planets”

“The Final Clash has Jungrock as the first planet”

Do you even Pezrock?

I did vote for episode 5 since Marbelara was the best planet by far.

Slaz on 4 Apr 2013 at 14:36

Haha JJ1 planet names have slammed our heads for sure this time around.. xD

I picked Episode 3. For me, it’s about atmosphere, and while Fanolint, Scraparap and MegaAirBase were hardly the most noteworthy planets in the whole game, the meshing of music and visuals for all three were imo among the best of ‘em all.

cooba: i need to stop using the internet at 2 am
