The World Story (part 1) - October 9th 2010

I’m creating a new episode in Jazz Jackrabbit 2 The Secret Files.I call it “Rabbits Over The World”. It’s an episode that shows you Jazz, Spaz and Lori were in Damn.They destroyed Devan and they get back to castle so Jazz can get married.After they get in the new house they were attacked by the evil Lizards, witch they kidnapped Jazz, Spaz, Lori and place them into a jail in Paris, France.They escaped and fight with the Lizards. But the Paris Mafia Godfather, Aichui the mole wanned to kill Jazz.Jazz was so smart that he killed his wife and kidnapped Aichui and killed him, too! Then the rabbits continued to Skopje, Macedonia.There were a lot of Lizards trashing the city.They were working for Bilsy and Bubba the evil devils.But they were no problem for the three Jacks that once and for all killed them! well.. Ultimately the purpose here isn’t a contest, but for musical creation. What I have is a simply formatted jazz chord progression and bassline, written in .it, and a horn sample (which you’ll recognize from JJ2) but I was never able to finish any sort of melody over these chords.

So you can download the file, do whatever you want with it, rename the file to distinguish your authorship, and upload. If whomever participates wishes, we can declare a winner among us.. but that’s not even the point! I just want to hear what people would come up with.

Delete whatever I have in channel 13, and start from scratch! Or base yours off mine. It’s really all your decision.

THE PRIZE IS 1 CALZONE OF ANY MAKE BRAND TYPE (PRIZE NOT INCLUDED YOU HAVE TO BUY IT YOURSELF)

JJnet Duel Tournament v2.0 - September 5th 2010

“JazzJackrabbit.net and “the crew” is organizing a sequel to the CTF duel-tourney held last year. There will be prices for the top 3 players (specially designed T-shirts), like last time. If the player belongs to a clan, that clan will be awarded under “awards” here on jjnet. This tournament has space for a total of 48 players, and is FREE FOR ALL!

The previous tournament was a direct elimination-tournament, thus the draw wasn’t probably as balanced as it could be. Version 2.0 starts off with a Group Stage where players will be drawn into different groups to play versus others in the same group. Each player will get to play (x) matches minimum, and that way all players have about equal starting points. In addition the performance in the Group determines your position in the Elimination Stage.

Did you know????
finnaly my first 2 battle levels comming.
I got unbanned and now i’m free.
I can do features from now.
Already first level called Lost valley with
tileset diamondus in progress.
I changed my name to bluespaz and i renamed the
level BSbat01.
There are 2 levels from bs productions.
Is easy to believe how to make those layersout :P

Important Thing for CTF Making - July 11th 2010

Hello again, now i wanna tell to newbies some points for making CTF:

For CTF novice Makers: First time you cant make good levels…When you get enough experience, try make symmetrical level…Because non symmetrical ctf level is hard to make…Lets get semi.j2l, famous ctf level in jdc and jj2net…What this level have special? First, more ways for tactics, and secrets…Second, this level is non symmetrical, it makes more fun, rating and tactics ways…Can you do it in one day? No way man!!! You never do it in one day or one year…First, you must make small symmetrical level, which dont eat more energy…Second, try use your brain, and also feel, what pros ‘en cons this level have, and fix ‘em…Third, make one more level with little little more map size…And do it…ummm…much time. JCS experience guaranted. But dont relax and dont say what these JCS EXP is enough what you have, NO! Experience never enough. Understand it! If you wanna make really AWESOME and AMAZING and OMGing CTF levels, you must train on your experience some years…Thank you for reading this post! Vote plz! :D
