For like JSZ Jazz’s remix, you have to have a very hard-core music taste, that likes some of choose kind of tunes that goes on your nerves sometimes.
I would rather choose the orginal music than this.
Thought this is better than his previous remixes.
I fail at reviewing so this review gets edited I guess =D.
(Don’t rate things because they don’t work. In other words, . -Trafton)[This review has been edited by Trafton AT]
I thought about some changes… but the rhytm will stay as it is. So maybe there will be a 1.1 version, but I think that it won’t change much. BTW, maybe some of you will know what I was playing before composing this music? (yes, one part is like in a music from other, not from PC, game)
Erm, Bjarni? I think you should use WinAmp… or ModPlug. And don’t rate things if you haven’t tested them![This review has been edited by JSZ Jazz]
ROFLMAO. It’s quite good. :D But, the noises are sometimes a bit weird… and it sounds just…comical. LOL. Download if you want to make a really weird lvl and wants a suitable music. ;)
ME LIKE. Not quite long enough, so it’s kind of repetetive, but it sounds fun and provides an interesting atmosphere.
BJARNI! Never rate things because they don’t work.[This review has been edited by Violet CLM]
(ME REMOVE. Unsupported rating removal edit. ~Violet)[This review has been edited by Violet CLM]
Im probably not gonna rate this cuz it sounds bad :\
If it is bad, try practicing more :P
Ugh, this serious sucks.
It hasen’t really any rytme, and the tones you use is arful bad.
Maybe you should just give up making choose remixes, becuse they do not get a decent result.
I do not recom you download this music.
No, he doesn’t. Rainforeous is a name of a planet in Jazz Jackrabbit 1, and the tileset is named correctly to my knowledge.
The tileset is good, but not exceptional. I suppose this is worth a download recommendation, but don’t expect a masterpiece.
Violet: It is included with JJ2 or do you mean JJ1? I can’t seem to find it on my JJ2 CD.
I have no idea what language that is. :P
Anyway, this is an OK pack, but is really not worth a very high rating. It features many levels, many of which seemed slapped together in about an hour. Flow is fairly bad in most of the levels, but eyecandy is above average and so is gameplay in general. Weapon placement is often badly decided, which brings down the score on the pack.
I can’t really recommend this for download unless you are a real battle freak. However, I’m sure there are many of these and they could quickly become Afternoon Battle (the group of players who are fairly new who play in the afternoon and only play battles and tests, you know who I’m talking about) classic.
Tiles in SA measure 22×22, so I had to enlarge them. And yes, SA isn’t very much like previous Sonics. It’s… better.
Can you make this tileset a version 1.23
Thanks :)
This is an interesting conversion of an old Sonic tileset. Also thrown in are a few extra tiles. However, without pictures of the characters from the game, it doesn’t really feel like Sonic. Overall, it’s an average conversion, but worth the download if your a Sonic fan.
Its a nice convension, but I’m not a great fan of convented gameboy tilesets, becuse it looks really crappy.
I also think you could have put some animations of the sprites in, there aren’t the great animations that says “lets give this tileset a 10”.
But if you DID like to use a tileset from a gameboy to a computer game, go download this. ;P
So actually, people don’t want remixes. They want just changing instruments. IS THAT WAHT YOU MEAN???
Unfortunately, this remix has lost it’s enjoyable beats, as Moonblaze said. Keep trying, though.
I’m sorry, but back to the drawing board.
This really really lost its good old style.
Not bad…but in few moments the instrument are chosed preay bad..it was too ,,itchy’‘. Keep on good work in further tracks..or make yer own ;)
lol its funny but i dont see there anything special :P
Ok, I’ll rate this since noone else dares to…
Well, to be honest, I’d say this is a more mellow version of the Technoir song. Too mellow for my tastes, Technoir (pronounced TechnoWar) should have a more..violent song (it’s a war zone out there).
Still the author did a nice job of remixing. He doubled the amount of patterns for the intro (me likes, gets you into the song), replaced instruments (some are better than the original) even his voice is in it (?) And guess what: it says in the details some samples are by Alexander Brandon (the JJ2 and JJ3 musician) How about that?
Conclusion:
Not bad, with some tweaking it can be improved. Not the kind of music I’d use for a level, just for listening. A 7 with a .2 bonus (for trying)
