Not bad, not bad at all.
The tileset looks cool, I like only real problems are the fact that the thing could have used more variety, and you should be careful with 8-bit users (like me. :-), the example level has a spiffy layout, but the lack of variety in the tileset sort of dulls it…
Overall definitely worth a tileset fans download. :-)
Did someone say darn palette!? I can probably help you with that if you want this ‘set to look it’s spiffiest. (I learned a lot about palettes, etc since I first helped you with this tileset ;))
The level looks good, but I didn’t get to play it thouroughly enough to really review it. But I did get stuck in the scenary in one spot. I think it was near the bottom on the very left edge of the level (Where you go through the one way scenary and go onto a spring). I went through on the rightmost edge of the one-way stuff and got trapped, if memory servers me correctly…
i was going to make a warp level gt;=\
Very nice battle level. The Tubelectric set was actually used pretty well.. I like the fact that the design is nice and fluent, and I like some of the ideas here. I myself never got stuck, but when I look at it, it looks pretty possible. Also, I was able to get the locked seekers with unpowered up bouncies. ;-)
Only true problem with this is it just needs more (remember the J2C times when Steven said that? :-)
I thought it was pretty good. As Aiko said, good eyecandy, I didn’t get stuck, but I could see how it could happen. I also liked the part where you could choose if you wanted seekers or not. I never found a dead end, and it has everything I think that a battle level shood need =)
I suppose it might just be the tileset, but it looks kinda.. well, uncomplete.
I got stuck twice.. each time by a spring.
The place where you have a spring covered up, and you get bounced into the room with the carrot in it.. are you sure that’s the right block to cover it with? It doesn’t look quite right..
Download if you like the Tube Electric Tileset =o3=
Not bad. Eyecandy and design of "Warp Center" are pretty good (except some minor tile placement bugs). It allows a very fluent navigation (means: FUN! :-). Apart from that i don’t have much to say.
Conclusion: another good level that at least every battle fan should check out (of course, all others will like it, too :). Very very low seven points. Maybe i’ll change it to six someday :-)
Oh, I forgot to mention… this is sort of the “J2O” version. The original had J2C’s url in it, so I switched that to J2O’s url before uploading.
