Hmmm……Ill just do a basic review
EYECANDY: 3.5/5
The levels looked plain, i found VERY few eyecandy errors, im not usre if i found any infact. But the eyecandy is plain, simple, but still better than your basic eyecandy. Nothing special about eyecandy in these levels though
GAMEPLAY: 4/5
Hmm..Some levels have good gameplay, some have average. I liked the gameplay of most levels though. Better than the eyecandy, on my opinion, but not perfect
PLACEMENT:3.3/5
The springs were placed ok, nothing wrong, some were placed very good infact, but the ammo placement kinda got boring sometimes. I got frustrated with the warps in the Ultimate Hotel level, and that wasnt very good, but i still liked that level nevertheless.
EVERYTHING ELSE: 4.4/5
The backrounds and tilesets were used properly and all, nothing more to say about this.
OVERALL:7.8 approx. A good effort worth a download
I like thistileset. Guess both Disguise and Distuct are talented. Well, back to rewieving. I just love the backround, looks awesome. The ground isnt bad either, i like how distruct drew the rocks. The flowers hanging form vines look a bit cartoonish though, the rain looks very thin. The color is good, and textured, this tileset is so rox and good, so i give it a download reccomendation and a big, solid 8.
OMG WOW?!?!?!STRANGE
I agree with Violet there, it isnt music, and it isnt jazz related. Although I actually thought of the sound to be interesting, it was to short to get a higher mark than a 5. Im being nice and giving it .5 more points just because it had a funny beat to it. I still dont reccomend anyone to download this though.
Hmm……I like this one. It has a slower beat, which im sure this music will never be used for race levels, but it ha a melodious tone to it which made me go off to dreamland listening to it. Some parts i liked, some parts i didnt, but there is one thing i can be sure of, this is a great music conversion and that acid makes good music. I liked this way better than the other music conversion of Fanolint, and I hope you keep making music conversions. Good Luck
Well, not as high as 8.5, but for music, this one is good. Not the best as it can be, to much drums and cymbals for me, but i still think it is good to use in holiday levels, if anyone decides to make any. Its a good effort and i reccomend this music to all..
I was expecting a little more based on the reviews, but i overally liked this. The spaceship idea in the beginning, it was well done. Looked cool and so. The race, few obstacles, looked a bit barren to me, not much fun. The eyecandy was well done, i liked it, the wind, it was annoying and stuff. The mainj problem was that this level was barren and got boring REALLY fast. Download reccomedation? I guess so…..
Hmm….Would be cool if the original “Blue” Music by eiffel 65 was included, but nah.
The tileset is all……well…..blue.
Even though i like blue it gets kinda dull. There are some good eyecandy things here and let me just say I LOVE THE BACKROUND EYECANDY IT LOOKS SO TEXTURED AND STUFF! There are iteresting suckerz, if there is one thing disguise 95% guarantee includes in his tilesets it is suckerz. The tileset, itself is interesting, can be hard to use, but interesting nevertheless. Though not many good levels can become of this, it is a good addition to any jj2 folder.
Hmmm….Lets start a review shall we?
The tile placmenet: Not bad, a few errors,, but ok.
Music is good but doesnt fit.
Some mistakes in pickup placment which made me downgrade the rating
If im not mistaken, i think parts of the level are spaz biased. I cant say much more to this except that i give it a 6.5. Im not as easy to impress….
I must admit this tileset is ruxors. It has many BEAUTIFUL tiles and many things can be done with it, like shown in the level, to make it look outstanding. It has an outdoor scenery with beautiful backlayer eyecandy, a cave scenery with beautiful plants coming out from the walls, and a beautiful town scenery. Need more to say?Fine…..
My long review
THE LEVEL OMG I LUV BLADE-STYLE LEVELS THEY RUXOR. THE TILESET RUXORS TOO
First, enemy placement: Was good, not as best as it could of been, some enemies, 2 or 3, were badly placed ,but overall average placement. Not to hard like mine, not to easy liek agama’s.
Gameplay: Yes, yes, everything was good here, direction was straight forward, you should of made there be more than one way to go, but it was great, lots of secrets and pickup on the way.
Eyecandy::O:O:O:O:OKEWL The eycandy was EXTREMLY GOOD, barely any flawd, some of the eycandy was used to hide secrets, and things, excellent tileset use (even if it is your own). I just loved the eycadny. It made me stare at it in amazement for a while ;P.
Tile placemet:Of course since it is his own tileset, the placement was excellent making the level look beautiful as well as detailed.
Pickup placement: Although people can complain it is overused, i dont. I like these types of levels which have many secrets and pickups to slow you down. The level never gets dull that way, and I like it. Maybe you could make an SP pack with all your tilesets included in it, that would be cool.
Eyecandy(tileset): The eyecandy can be superb when the tileset is used properly, like shown in the level. It just makes you feel so happy when you look at the xamplelevel, because it ahows what can be done with the tileset.
Tiles: The tiles, although some look familiar to other tiles in other tilesets made by blade, just differently painted, look cool. The backround eyecandy is there, the destruct blox are there, there is more than one scenery so u wont get bored, what more needed to say.
Other stuff: Although there are few animations, and no suckerz, i still love the tileset, but this brings it down to a 9.5 instead of 9.7. I must admit i like this more than some of agama’s tilesets, and i reccomend you to download this as soon as possible. I look forward to any battle levels made by this.

Interesting, i cant compare the original hocus pocus level 1 and 2 episode 2 because i only have episode 1…..shame
I didnt like it as most of you but didnt hate it as well. Im glad u included the enemies, i never saw them and wascurious about their identity. U also included the main tiles like walls, bricks, gems and cups and things, but some useless animations as well. And some useless tiles, i guess this is ok and a well effort.
OMG COOL VIOLET
Since i have the first episode of the actual game, i can review these levels accurately.
Level 1: OMG COOL BOARD ON BOTTOM WOW
This level is very accurate and matches the game as best as possible, i like the choice of enemies u used in replace of the dragons, gargoyles and mushrooms. The text is copied well. A strait 10 for this level
Level 2:
In the beginning, i saw at first the ledge was to low and jazz could jump on it, but the suckers, ingenius! Perfect placement of goodies and enemies, and nice spikes and all. Even though it is in the game, there is to much live givers (carrots) which makes this easy and turns this into a 9.
Level 3: Love the music, love the idea where crates fall from the ceiling containing gems, because in hocus, when u busted a wall, occasionally a gem was behind it, this is aa nice way of avoiding the problem that 2 events cannot be on the same tile. I dun think sparks are a good idea though. 9.2
Level 4: Interesting sheild idea, but like i said, sparks not good idea. 9.5
Level 5: Interesting enemy idea, but to plain. IT s sometumes hard to press switches 9.6. Also, to much sheilds make it very easy
Level 6: Hmm….Fake secret….good tileplacement etc. a straight 10.
Level 7 Love music, but why u use bats for giant dragonflies….i would of used ravens, but o well, ur pack a 9.8
Level 8 Same comment as level 7 a 9.8 as well
Level 9: Interesting and hard idea for monks, i like it. But, this level isnt as good as a 10. 9.5
In conclusion, this pack deserves either a 9.5 or a 9.7. and a big fat download recc. thnx cya
Hmmmm……Even though the tileset is hard to use, mike made the best of it. The thing that prevents me from giving it a 9 is that there are a few dead ends and that take 0.01 away from the mark and that it is hard to move around in. I cant tell which way i need to go and stuff like that so it takes 4.99 away from the mark. Download reccomendation?Sure…….That is all
I have seen many people host this many times so i decided to rate this and get it over with.
The eyecandy of the level is excellent, dont know how it could be better 5/5
The ammo placement is also excellent, can be better, but Mike tried his best 4.9/5
Th gameplay is ok, good use of one ways and springs, bases are placed ok as well 4.9/5
The tileset use is far greater than excellent 5+/5
Overally, this level gets a 10/10 but because of a bias i have it gets a 9 ;P
OMG WOW SUCH GOOD TILESET USE
As I played this level, i was amazed, how beautiful the level looked! I just stared at it for such a long time because it rocked! Excellent tileset use EXCELLENT U HEAR ME I DUN THINK I SAW BETTER!!!! Placement a bit sparce, more coins than weapons, but that only lowers it by 0.3 because the only reward is the one that u need 100 coins for (I havent found out how to reach the trig crate yet ;P
The reason it isnt 9.7 is that i have a bias that single levels cannot get more than a 9. 9 and over is only for tilesets and good levelpacks.(Music limit is 9 as well for me) so 8.7 is what it gets and a big fat d/l recc
Link is working……I dont really like this tileset, except the purple roads ;P
2.2 for the purple roads ,0.3 for everything else……
No download reccomedation, sorry
My first tileset was so bad, i didnt bother to upload it.
The ground is just some rainbow colored blocks and it only has a few of the hotel stuff, as well as uneeded stuff. Do not make hotel tilesets plz, they RARELY get a high rating and arent used much. The only hotels i can reccomend you to download are the ones made by hotel heroes, and another made by super saiyan i think, but not this one, sorry…
Hmmm……I like this
It has catchy tunes and a good beat, i could easily tell its a diamondus remix. Some parts that the author created i liked, i think the parts were near the beginning. As well, i think it will go good with any diamondus like levels and maybe some forest levels, this is a good music upload and i reccomend it to all music fans
A 9.2 for various reasons
+2.0 that it really catches my attention and i listen to it daily
+4.5 for the awesome beat, which ruxors and just is very good
+2.0 that it has a good melody, a logic and catchy beat an so
+0.5 that it goes good with a lot of tilesets
+0.2 That the name sounds good ;P
D/l Recc, yeah, this is one of the best musics i heard in a looooooooonnnnnng time
Despite that there is a few bugs in the level, its an ok race. I like the bird idea, its cool, and good tileset use (even if it is your own tileset) and there are dead ends, which isnt so good for race, if used in a bad way. Still gets a d/l reccoemdation form me
Here goes
Pitch Black:-0.5
Hmm…To hard to navigate -1.0, and kind of hard to play with many ppl online -.2, but backround is kewl +1.5 and the gem placement is ok +.1. The layout isnt bad and nice spring placement +.9
Hide and heat seek: 1.7
good eyecandy +1.7, and good gem placement +1.0, bit big and well, big -1.0
Abyss:1.9
Probably the best, nice music choice +0.5, and good layout +1.5, but hard to get around in -.5. Eyecandy ok +0.4
End of hours: 1.7
Also a bit big, but easy to navigate +1.4 and good gem and sucker placemnt +0.6, the backround, i dont like it as much but it is ok -.3
Dark Awakening:-1.8
NO BACKROUND?!?!leaves traces _ -3.3
Good placement +0.5, good tileset use (other than backround) +0.6, and music ok +0.5
Total 3×2=6.0 +0.5 for including good music and effort.
Total score=6.5[This review has been edited by Blackraptor]
-That was my original review. I thought’d I just redownload this, after all this time, and rate it once again since my old review SUCKED. Here goes:
Before rating information: Apparently this pack was created in 2001, long time ago. Let’s see how good stuff could’ove gotten back then. And the Zip file has a comment, how rux. Also, I’m testing these online now.
LGABYSS (The Abyss): Uses the egyptian night set. Good tileset choice. At first I thought the level was OK, but then it grew on me. Some thing that was annoying for me was that it was hard to get up, it took some time to land on the springs and sometimes even some more times to get them to bounce you up to the right place. I quite disliked bumpyness of the level, and I can’t imagine playing as jazz here. Other than that, there is a fair amount of gems, and I like the part where “Treasure comes to those who wait”. Another thing that sort of ticked me off were the hurt events. Only the host can die from them, which coincidentally happend to me, which made me lose my 150 gems and die. I had to cycle the level with PC4 then. Overall, it was a level which the eyecandy looked rux, but I didn’t really like the layout too much, nor the hurt events.
LGPBLACK (Pitch Black): Hmm..a pitch black caslte level. The level is basically a maze of rooms and suckers, and the lighting is what the level name implies, pitch black. I found the level quite original and interesting, I like how the suckers jut you in the rooms and how those ceiling springs bash you on a gemstomp or super gem. The only thing I disliked was that I couldn’t find the exit room, until I actually looked in JCS. Then I still couldn’t find the exit room, nor the room that has the exit sign pointing towards the exit room. THEN I finally found it. Maybe with more people this kinda thing wouldn’t happen, but for me it was sort of annoying, but I’m not an expert on navigating mazes. The level was original, interesting, but didn’t really stick out that much. Music was ok.
LGEHOURS (End Of Hours): At first glance, I didn’t really like how the walls were made, the same one or two tiles kept repeating themselves and it was kinda boring. The interior of the walls being black was original though, I liked it. The layer 5 was also nicely done. I didn’t like the backround too much, but it didn’t show that often. Again there’s a trigger crate in the level, this time I have no idea what it does. The gems were placed well in the level, and the music ruxed. Not much else to say.
LGAWAKE (Dark Awakening): Ah, I remember reviewing this, the level without a bg, fun. This time, though, I’m actually playing this online, so the trace bug is nonexistant. The level looks ok, the eyecandy isn’t the best, but this was made a while ago so it mighta been considered excellent back then. The BG looks nice, like a night sky, with lightning, which also looks spiffy. I’m not too fond of the layout, but the level overall is well done.
LGHSEEK (Hide And Heat Seek): A Labrat level, argh overused tileset. The layout here is original, I especially love how the text sign was made (the text sign being in a foreground layer that has a different X-speed than the sprite layer. The level had a lot of belts, but they ruxed and shouldn’t get in the way. The layout, though linear, rocked. It didnt make me feel like I was playing in another labrat level, and thats good. A thing I didn’t like was in the bonus warp, I landed in an area with seekers (Hide and Heat Seek, makes sense), but then I sidekicked the crates and fell into a warp I had no idea was there, thus wasting 10 valuable coins for nothing. If there was something that would point out the existance of the warp, I wouldn’t have done that, but there wasnt. I also found a mini bug, which I’m not sure if the level or jj2 was at fault, where I jumped on a belt, but it had no effect on me (I just stood there). I rejumped on the belt and it worked again. Also, I like the different Sector things in the bonus warp, reduces camping. The layout of the level was imo a bit too crowded, I frequently bumped into stuff, this also made the seeker less useful (which is good in treasure) so I dont mind.
OVERALL: Its pretty good for a treasure pack, even now. It has a lot of originality, and there will surely be something of interest to you in at least one of the levels.
LGABYSS (The Abyss): 8.1
LGPBLACK (Pitch Black): 8.2
LGEHOURS (End Of Hours): 8.2
LGAWAKE (Dark Awakening): 8.3
LGHSEEK (Hide And Heat Seek): 8.6
OVERALL: 8.2
Final Rating: 8.2666666, rounded to an 8.2
Final Comments: Apologies for the previous review, where as I underrated this. This is a nicely done Treasure pack, even now its still pretty good. I disliked some things in it, which brought down the rating. The average of this should of been around 8 or so, but I was nice and boosted up the rating of some levels by up to +.3 points. Anyways, Good Job and a Download Reccomendation, since you don’t see Treasure Packs often, and good treasure packs even rarer.
