Ok, this will be a fun review.
Gameplay: Okay. There were dead ends and there was a flag bug. Also, I would like to put one blue spring in the place of the full energy instead of that platforms without one. the spring placement was good, so that makes it okay.

Eyecandy: Okay. It was ok, but I would like more caves that would be good. The other things were okay too.

Pickup placement: Good. It was quite good, but there were too many crates of ammo and there wasn’t many ammo in the other places. There was one powerup, the blaster powerup. I think that a small level like this doesn’t need more than one powerup, so that’s good. The Full energy was good placed.

Others: It’s an okay, but small level.

AMMO

Well the ammo is basic placed. nothing secret thats boring and no powerupds, only crates.

GAMEPLAY-ORIGINALLY

Well… its not originallt but the gameplay is OK.

BASES PLACED

Nice. i can say you must host in a duel level.

This should have been a quick review.

GAMEPLAY:

Well, I’m a little surprised. I can’t say much about the balance since the level is semi-symmetrical. The layout actually isn’t bad—for it’s size. This is one of those levels for 4 players or less, although I myself probably wouldn’t want to duel here. The flow isn’t completely smooth, I can get around easily enough. The biggest flaw has to be the missing borders around the level. Why add borders around the edge of the level? To prevent the flag bug where the text saying that someone captured the flag keeps repeating itself. I suggest using at least two tiles (three tiles may be a better idea, though) around the entire level to prevent this bug, even if you still aren’t sure what it is. Other than that there’s its small size, which I personally don’t like, but others might not mind.

EYE CANDY:

The eye candy here is typical for a Diamondus. It’s not over the top, but it’ll do. I feel no need to write anymore about the eye candy since nothing is wrong with it.

CARROT AND AMMO PLACEMENT:

Surprisingly, it all works for a level with this size. A full energy carrot is located in gap in the middle of the level. There’s also a blaster powerup between the two bases. It’s simple, but it works. Ammo placement works for the most part, although I would prefer fewer crates. Can’t go too wrong with symmetrical, though, and I don’t care what anyone else says.

HOST THIS OFTEN?

Probably not, but the level is good for a first multiplayer level as well as a second level. After playing this level for some while, it started to seem a little too ordinary. And small. I’ve decided to give this a 6.0 for simplicity.

PS: I wouldn’t be surprised if this level gets overwritten in the future. The filename “DiamCTF.j2l” has a good chance of being used by someone else. Try avoiding generic names like this one next time.

Wow! This is great if it is really your first level, keep making levels because I feel that your next will be really good. OK Let’s review this:

Gameplay is good there are almost no bugs (what is incredible for a first level)Eyecandy is nice, well this level is a little bit boring but it’s not as much as I played other.

I will give you 7.0 – Ithink that this rating is perfect for this level.

Actually cooba… you probably just haven’t found any of the secrets. There’s quite a bit. Maybe you need to work on finding secrets. :P

Hahahah… evil reviewer comes back :P

First thing, you’ve used Diamondus 1 that is overused tileset as heck. it means that on all of the world is probably lot of them. See my article.

Level is just a dark cave. Things were made good, but I’ve stuck that Spaz can’t jump on the platform, and that means that lower-jumping Jazz can’t also. But it’s only simply bug.
No points here.

There’s too less goodies. Some gems, TNT, and Toaster. Not food. Confusing.
Next time place them more. The same thing with secrets, which there’s not in here! Why? Maybe you don’t know how to use layer 3…

Enemies were repetive, just turtles and beehives and sometimes skeleton. Why? Level is gloomy and Demons, Doggy-Dogs, Rapiers, even Witch fits here. Try again.

Tileset use : As i mentioned that Diamondus is 2nd of most overused tilesets. But back into topic, I’ve not saw tilebugs. Only there’s less of animations and less of animations makes me angry. There should be some plants type for “window” encovered with plants. Too less eyecandy tiles. Aargh.

And finally music choice. Orbitus. Well done. Her fits also standard JJ1 Diamondus, Turtemple, and (believe or not), my favourite, Battleships. But no pity.
+1 point here.

Overall : 7 – 0.5 – 1 – 0.5 + 1 = 6

Six points to be exact.
