-Placement:
Is good. Weapons are great placed. not too much, not too few. Not 6 kinds of weapons. Also there where carrots in the lvl!(This is wonderfull becouse many people forgotten too put carrots in they lvl’s)Also what Da Man was saying, FOUR UPGRADES ARE TOO MUCH ÐX!
What do you find if you go in the warp of 20COINS? ONLY a UPgrade and FULL health. Like Da Man has sayed, thats pretty few for 20 coins…

-Gameplay:
Is good. Nice sucker tubes, there was an coinwarp and some few springs:(
Not more too say, sorry.

-Eyecandy:
Is great! Some times confusing, other places GREAT! Nice lava(nice lava!?)was falling down in the lvl, but the confusing is: You used GROUND-Tiles for BACKGROUNDLAYER-Tiles. That’s very confusing. The rest was great.

As an admin of J2VF I am glad to see that our member did such a good level for us. This batttle lvl is original, it uses the 7th lava fall (Idon’t really like this tileset, but who cares).
Tileset use here is good, Dx made his level a bit confusing, you don’t see always where you can step which is fun in battle level – I already played this level with my friend and we have lot of fun with it!

The lvl as it self looks not too good for me,but there is great eyecandy, some places looks quite like a Technoir (I LUV TECHNOIR) because of all this toxix.

What is the best in this level is a really great gameplay. Try to play this level with someone and you’ll know what I mean.

It is 7.7 from me ( It is my first time when I am rating a battle lvl, so don’t expect from me a big review)

Ok, I am first rater. Finally!
Gameplay: Good. Its good, but not better then that. There were only a few springs. You used some sucker tube, thats nice. There was a coin warp which is original in battle levels. Its almost good/very good.
Eye candy: Very Good. I loved it, although it was confusing in some places. Excellent sprite layer eye candy and other layers were used too. Not all layers were used but its very good.
Pickup placement: Good/Very Good. Some good ammo placed although there was some ice too and some carrots. Thats good. The bonus has a Seeker Power-up and a Full Energy, it could be more in a bonus of 20 but OK. There were four other power-ups, Bouncer, Ice, Toaster and Blaster. I think that four power-ups is too many in a level of this size.
I gonna give this level a 8 and a download recommendation. Good job, Dx;)

It is just very similar in my point of view.

And dx, did you build the level over your Lava Time?

Dx dc, It is good that your levels are developing and are becoming better than the other ones. The eyecandy, the balance of the enemies, the foods, the goodies and the ammos are really good. There are no tile bugs also! A 7.7 for your single player level!

I don’t know about the other reviewers, but this level seemed somewhat… overrated in my point of view. It’s a slightly above average level though, and it has some original ideas, too. Well, here’s my review:

Wasting Time

Eyecandy:
Well, this level’s Eyecandy was fairly average, perhaps a little above average. Some original eyecandy here and there, but I spotted a lot of tilebugs and it got confusing at times. The eyecandy overall wasn’t too bad at all.

Gameplay:
Good. Some original ideas in there. A mixture of everything really. However, I absolutely HATED some parts where you HAD to get hurt… I hate that. But like I said, the gameplay was still pretty good despite the parts where you had to get hurt.

Weapon/Ammo Placement:
It was all around good, nothing special, but there’s nothing I really object to in there.

Enemy Placement:
Fairly average, the typical enemy selection for the carrottus tileset.

Bugs:
None found. Anyway, I doubt I would’ve found any because it is obvious that this level has been tested out.

Overall:
Slightly above average. It’s a good level and all, but there is a lot of room for improving. Good job, anyway.

The Rating:
7 from me. The level could’ve received a higher rating if you maybe spent a tad bit more on the eyecandy.

And anyway, you said this took you a week? I’m sure it did (I’m not being sarcastic) but there is room for improving in my opinion. It’s my opinion, so just drop it, okay? Geez, people these days. <_<

Dx- I have to tell ya that this time you did really good job on this level!!!
The only big minus about it is that you used the OVERUSED TILESET – that makes me ANGRY!!!

But forget about it, the level is very nice, you used all the layers, gameplay here is good, it’s not boring also you put in lvl interesting trigs like this when I crashed the trig crate from wall on my left fell a spring crate – that is nice.

I don’t have time to write a long review but I am, giving to you a 8.7

Good job Dx – keep working and do more levels because every single level is better and better you are improving your work and I’m happy :)

Ok ,here is my review
Gameplay: Good. It is good but it is a quite hard level and there were some places where it was annoying such as that place with that trigger crate where you need to stomp and where a sucker tube is that brings you back right. The rest was good.
Eye candy: Good/Very Good. It was very good, but there were some places with overused eye candy.
Pickup placement: Good/Very Good.
There was good ammo placement, there could be more carrots in it but that’s ok. The food placement was very good, I think.

eyecandy:
I haven’t see ONE tilebug, but the eyecandy is a bit boring.You have no textured background, only something on layer5.

enemy placement:
Well,Fine! But I died on the first time becouse you putted 3tuff turtles on one tile!!That’s to much! But the rest was fine! And then I mean realy fine! Not to much and not that way of no enemy’s!

Ammo/food/carrot and other:
“Where is my space-food mom?”“I thaught I was in the stores! But not!”
Hee dx!, how can I live with no chips, chocolat and milk? And a carrot is realy good for your eyes! Maybe you must eat a carrot, so you can see that you putted no food, carrot and other things in the lvl! There was only one blaster-powerup in the lvl! I can only hope, that enemy’s(afther they died;)give me some gems and others!This is very bad!!

Gameplay:
Good…Your starting with…puzzles? are this puzzles? Well if you say so…
Where was I? Oh je…So you can open a door. If this open, You can get in a space-ship and fly trough some lizards.
So the flow and things is good!

Overall:
A nice lvl! Some ammo can be placed in the lvl when DX got his carrot in his stummic(HAHAHA) and the tuffturtles can be placed on other spots and it’s nice to make a round in the space in a space-ship!So a nice lvl!

Oh, its a time for review, too bad that i don’t have much time now, so i have to reveiw quickly,
Okay, what do you find in zip file? well, one short single-player level, using highly-overused Mez1 tileset.
I don’t think that eyecandy is too good, but its ok. Dx, please put backgrounds to your levels. that makes people rate higher. trust me.
Gameplay, isn’t too good too, its quite boring.. (again.) lets say, that your other levels, ( like thunder mountain) are very god, ( fun, etc)You should do levels like that. not so shrot ones like this.Placement is ok, no complaiments, and overall its ok level.
( too bad tht i dind’t have much time, oftherwise, this review would be larger.) so anyway, here is a 6.7.

That`s the risk on uploading stuff: you can get a lower Rating then you hope to get… Sometimes you may would say: wrfrerfsrefsfsrääää!

Well here is my review(again).

Eyecandy:
Basic!!! The Eyecandy is not really good but also not bad. There are no textured background. You only used layer 5 for some things. No tilebugs but still the eyecandy is a little bit boring.

Enemy placement:
Fine!!! The enemies are well placed not to much and not to little. It`s annoying that lizards come out of nowhere. To many Tuff turtles on a spot.

Item placement:
Bad!!! There is no item placement. No food no gems no ammo even no carrots. There is only a blaster powerup.

Gameplay:
Okay!!! In the beginning there are 4 doors. To open those doors you have to do different puzzles. But I think it are no puzzles. When you did al those puzzles the doors are open and you will go in a ship. When you are in the ship you have to fly To the end. That puzzle 2 is a little bit boring because those destruckt scenery can take to much it take`s a lot of time to destroy one.

Other:
Fine!!! The level is really short but not boring but also not fun. The music fits well.

You can do better Dx next time spend more time and make the eyecandy better.
