Good pack. But I got a problem – some levels crash, saying “level\tileset not found”. And some (for ex – survivor03) have access violation errors.
So, where can I get all the tilesets for this pack, except those that are already in there?
OK here I go.
First comments:
- Do not put spaces or other weird characters into filenames. It might create trouble while clients connect.
- Level is untitled. Make up a name!
Now, the level itself:
- Textured background is good, but what if I am playing without textured background? In that case it looks AWFUL!
- Too much motion in the background. Eyes start hurting when you look at it.
And, it creates disorientation in space.
- Eyecandy is good, if not count what I said before. However, I’d prefer to play without that background (in no backgroudn mode), because I dont like the motion.
- Flow is good.
- Ammo placement and carrot is good.
- Level is a lil bit smaller than I would wish it to be.
- Nice tube system.
- Again, about the background – I would not make it green. Make it light blue or something. And make it more transparent.
- No bugs! Good.
For now, I’d rate it a 4, but I will rate it later, afer you fix the things above. ;)
If this is only you first level, then I can see that your next levels will be even better. Just dont make it so contrastful and motionful.
First of all, I struggled with finding the secret warp and I don’t like the white flashing sky. That’s irritating.
However, eyecandy is excellent, good flow, cool weapons! Good choice of tileset. I will give this a 9.7, since there is no 9.8 ;)
I strongly recommend to download this![This review has been edited by NeoBlaze24]
Good!
Here is the deal:
- Good eyecandy. However, I wouldn’t repeat those background trees so often. (-0.5)
- Level does not have a lot of ammo (-0.5)
- I would put a few carrots in the level (-0.5)
- Level is made for TSF. Next time do it for 1.23 (-0.5)
In total – 10-2=8.0
Good job, man!
Well, it is probably only for Windows 98… And it only changes the name for the current session.
IF YOU COULD ONLY MAKE IT PERMANENT!
I WOULD BE SOOOO THANKFUL
Nice!
EYECANDY: Good
FLOW: Medium… 1) you shouldn’t point to the trick sports and 2) there is a weird tube in a wall which has no point :)
OVERALL GRAPHICS: Very Good
PLAY AGAIN: YES
RECOMMENDATION FOR DOWNLOAD: YES

Nice job!
Essp that you can now edit the server lists :)
But you don’t have the two cool features: joining to private servers and making colored names, so I’ll rate this a 9.
Heyy I don’t know what to say! This is the best mulpiplayer jj2 program ive ever seen.
It is bug free, has a easy-to-understand interface and a minimum of features.
So, I give it a 10!
[q]I seem to not be able to use this program. I get an error every time.
It says Quote:
System Error &H8007007E (-2147024770). The specified module could not be found.
Do I need some special Runtimes?[/q]
No, I think you will have to format C: and reinstall Windows… Because this may be a permanent error.
(POST PIGGYBACK: I SERIOUSLY recommend against formatting for such a minor error. Try Googling around. You may have to not include the error number in case it is variable. -Trafton)[This review has been edited by Trafton AT]
Ok, I feel special, cuz I am the first one to comment this :)
Lets see…
Level 1 (Neon nightmare). Too many platforms, nice eyecandy. Rating: 8
Level 2 (neon2). This one is certainly better! There is no platforms and there is a good flow. BUT! I did get stuck twice in two different walls. Rating: 8.2
Level 3 (Space Base 17-D). Nice amount of ammo (flamepower), nice map, and cool eyecandy. And, for sure, excellent gameplay. But, you shouldn’t have put an infinite amount of that ammo in the center. I give u 9.5 for this one.
Overall – 8.7
Recommendation: yep.
Play again: Yep. Levels 1 and 3 but not 2.
Every next level of yours is better than prev. one.
Good Job![This review has been edited by NeoBlaze24]
