This is one of those really insane levels using Dimensions1/Sirius by Agama (tileset not included, but downloadable elsewherre on J2O). The level is interesting, and fairly good, though there are a few eyecandy concerns that drive me crazy. Eccentric is good, but the background layer use in this level eventually gets a little tiny bit annoying, or at lot annoying, depending on your playing style.
You see, the background has a lot of ghost ehoes of tiles in the back that you would expect to be…tiles that there is a good chance one would miss when jumping around the level. Aerial players may not like this.
Still, this is a pretty good level. I like it, and I think it is definitely worth a play. As for the specifics, here is the report card.

Umm, include the tileset.
Once again a compacted contest level review:
Dimension CTF
GAMEPLAY: Almost balanced. Alright flow. Layout needs work.
EYE CANDY: Somewhat average. Good in some places. Needs work in others.
CARROT PLACEMENT: Alright.
AMMO PLACEMENT: Not bad.
HOST THIS OFTEN? Nah.
Overall review: This level needs some amending in several places. It looks like you were trying to make the level symmetrical. So why didn’t you use the same type of springs at 45,50 and 78,50? The level seems too open with all of the platforms it uses. The level looks rather empty; it might be better if something else was placed at the top of the level, even if it’s just another border. The base placement is a little different (I almost like it), but someone can get stuck around there. In fact, someone can get stuck in several places. I’m not going to mention everywhere exactly, but you should beta test more before uploading. The eye candy was… a little innovative in several places but overall not too good. The trasparent tiles in the background either didn’t look good or they were confusing and annoying. And I saw a few tiling errors. Everything else in this level is generally decent. 6.5 is what this level gets.
Gameplay: 1,3
Choosen: 1,5
event placement: 1
Eyecandy 1
General 1,2

All at all, not an bad CTF lvl. Only its TSF, No powerups, ( that isnt always bad ) A good choosen tileset. but what can i say, to many open spaces.

“DarkShadow’s Level Pack” (very dull name, sorry) consists of three fresh & decent battle maps that make use of the above mentioned tilesets. Even if it’s not my personal favourite, it was a good idea to use the underused Psych tileset!
The layout is very good in all three levels and so is the eyecandy (some very nice arrangements!). Not to forgot the weapon placement. There are some minor problems like one or two dead ends or other things i dislike, but overall its definitely fun to play in these levels. Only problem is: you need a lot of people because the levels are quite large (esspecially in width not so much in height), some people may find them too large (depends on how crowded your server is, i think).
Regarding the music, Darkshadow also did a good job. He included Skaven’s very 133t “Amazonas” which was part of one his first (and only?) musicdisks.
Then again, the size of the readme file horrified me (don’t do that again, please)!
Still, this is really WORTH THE DOWNLOAD! “DarkShadow“s Level Pack” is a MUST for all you battle fans! (I’m very undecided between 7 and 7.5 here, i may change the rating anytime :-)[This review has been edited by Aiko]
Very good battle levels. All three have a good layout and the only complaint I have is that the diamondus level had annoying trees. Everything is very well done in this pack, and I reccomend for you to download this.
