Rating The Mistery of Atlantis:
Story:
Good. There are a lot of details and there was to go in the library, find the gey and solve the problems caused by Devan. But there aren’t the characters those i’ve added to the tileset.
Rating:8
Eyecandy:
Good. You used the letters to write unfinished words and you used different colors. You have also used three tilesets. Atlantis with blocks, Mud with a lot of beautiful things (as the talking shark),and a warp in time with animated backgrounds.
Rating:8
Items:
There’s a lack of items. Try to count the standard TSF levels’s items quantity and add so many items.
Rating:6
Enemies:
There are a lot of enemies. I think it’s a bit too challenging.
Rating:6
Final Rating:7
Musics: Good, very good. I like the sounds.

Final Rating: 7.2
OK, Its your 10th level pack and not one level has achived a rating over 7.0. Looking at your level packs, there really has been little improvement. If I were you, take a break. Not a little short 2 week break, I’m talking 4 to about 10 months. Use that time to check out the best downloads and see where you go wrong, make some short training levels (but don’t upload any) and find someone to betatest your levels.
You may keep reviewing as you wish, but don’t upload anything until you feel that you have improved.
I’ll make this review short….
Basicaly, this is a pack of empty sea levels. There were some attemps to make the pack fun but the levels hadhardly any items, the eyecandy was the same all the way through and the levels didn’t help make the story fun either.
The story is basically:
Jazz finds a treasure map. He swims through many empty caves and beaches to wind up at some treasure vents. Then you find devan. You kill him then win.
RATING: 5.7
RANK: 5 Average
DOWNLOAD: N/A
Why didnt’t you include the music?
PS: Does someone know the RGB values of the ‘ugly purple’ transparent color used in JCS? Send me a PM if you know.
Once again, get someone else to betatest.
I took a quick look at it… most of it seems to be copied from my ‘BossRushMode’ too… >O
Hey, can you provide the link to the music?
Then I’ll review.
Devan stories are only interesting when they are like The Invasion Of Deserto.
Also, some people can’t help it if their levels are 1.24 because they don’t have 1.23.
OK, I ll start what i dis like.. The Levels lack in eyecandy, the environment looks a bit dead. in the beach lvl there are some mistakes with the background layer. I also dislike the:“Press JJK” traps, starts to annoy you. You have some funny riddles although no real explanation what to do. e.g. tell the people to collect the ammo or that the 4:”!” are to type in a code, what about the level where you have to follow the rocks to find the spaceship. And the pack is pretty short. The player is a bit lost.
The enemies are set well and fit to the tileset.
What I do like is the story. I mean comon Crimiclown, what else then a devan pack. he is the big badguy and will try to defeat jj over and over again :). The story here is new, the waterspout. You have some funny ideas: the airboard level, I think it s cool as you are not bound that much to a strict way.
Overall I think a lot could be improved but you have a basic and now how to build levels. Just go a bit deeper.
No! Not another ‘Devan’ pack… I refuse to play… No offence, but BE MORE ORIGINAL! >:(
Can you get someone else OTHER than yourself to beta test it?
If you won’t even take that piece of advice I seriously don’t see you improving, and I honestly am getting tired of mediocre pack after medicore pack.
EDIT- Ischa has been releasing TSF levels for over 4 months now. You two are incredibly late in noticing that these packs are in 1.24.
Can’t you just make it in 1.23?
All people got 1.20 at TSF, right?
N00b: I allready know he makes TSF levels im just complaining about it so he might read this this time.
How can we have fun if it’s for TSF?
Also, as Ischa’s other level packs, this pack also has a story very similar to the official one: defeat Devan.
Uh-oh! Error! When I exit for the house of mud, I end up at the library. Check for problems, fix, then reupload.
Please have someone else OTHER than yourself/your brother/your best freind to betatest this pack.
Until then I will boycott this level and all future packs/levels.
Others should join me in this boycott
Well it’s not horid but its bad.

508 downloads??
EDIT about 20 minutes later:
812 downloads???
Anyway, the review!
TECHNOIR:
No items and very small are two major setbacks for this level. The dissapearing blocks make it annoying. There are two sections which are pretty much the same.
RATING: 4.0
ORBITUS:
Nothing has changed really. I repeat my other review which is good bouncy floors but the sparks make it annoying. No eyecandy and items and its very short.
RATING: 4.0
FANOLINT:
Nothing changed. Same horrible backround and sprite. No items and lots of triggers.
RATING: 3.2
DREEMPIPES:
Its basically a ‘wait till you get to the other side’ senario with fish and yellow pipes.
RATING: 2.6
BATTLESHIPS:
Annoying, I needed to edit the level to make it possible to complete.
DEDUCT: 0.2
BOS…
Same as other review….just bosses.

AVERAGE RATING: 3.1
BONUS: 0.2

FINAL RATING: 3.1
RATING RANK: 3 Very bad
DOWNLOAD?: Its under 4 and to the 9 houndred and something(), NO.
FINAL COMMENT:
I suggest really working on this. Whoever gets downloads that fast must be cheating.
Normally I reserve time for a long, slightly thought out review when I review Ischa’s packs.
However this pack, does not deserve a long, thought out review. i’ll do the best I can however.
Alright, so basically these levels are linear to the max. Honestly. Finding the challenges never strays you off from the main path for very long, but the problem is sometimes there are cleverly hidden due to the fact you’re so bored out of you mind you pass over the little nook the challenge’s warp is at.
None of the boss arenas are very exciting, you’ll probably JJNEXT all of them. Oh, and the Devan battle’s pre-requisite is very annoying.
The placement is horrible, you’ll agree with me once you get hit by a turtle in a suckertube.
Hmm. That’s the best I can squeeze out of the pack.
DR? No.
I don’t see how this could be rated. The levels are tiny. There are no items and gameplay (well there is but not much). The only thing that you will be rating is the idea which could only count for a small part of a rating (unless the auther requests the rating to be based on the idea).
