An awesome test with great eyecandy, but not enough (that’s not really very important)

Downloaded this 5 days ago I think. very fun addictive. and nice

Look its a level people have free will to rate as they wish i say 10 is not overrated as it contains eyecandy and is a good and different test .. maybe u would like a plain crap tileset and make a level out of it witch is plain no eye candy then rate that 10? ill make 1 if you really want somthing to bitch about

Well this is certainly a great test. I have played it and kept at it for a long time. The eyecandy is very nice for a test. The bushes the vines, its very sexy. The tests are hard but not harsh which makes them fun and more lovable that a German shepherd It deserves a 10

I normally don’t like water levels that much, but this one was the best I’ve ever seen in JJ2-land!! At least this test has some originality. I like it!

This is level is the most fun you can imagine, multiplied by 9 million. ITS EXTREME! ITS INTENSE! MUST PLAY NOW!

What RedMser said. If you’re giving a 10, at least have some other explanations than ‘eyecandy, gameplay is brilliant’ with you.

Perhaps, Its all opinion. To me you are rating how good the test is. It doesn’t mean its better than something such as Get me R.Movie wise, Its like saying “I think 10 is overrated for a Chick flick” .

Maybe you should give a review then if you think 10 is too much for the level.

This level gets a 10/10 from me. I’m sorry I don’t wanna go into an explanation but the eyecandy, gameplay, difficulty, it’s just brilliant. All 10/10 Def download recommendation. Check it out peeps!

Nice tileset

its a nice tileset rly and great invited but maybe the red castle blocks a bit darker because it hurts my eyes a bit :p

Haunted gardens

First of all I have to say this is very mest up. The layout isnt that good at all and there are way to many bugs.

+Gameplay+

Gameplay isnt that good at all. Some of the springs are to strong. The level can also get very confusing and difficult to play.

+Eyecandy+

The eyecandy has been better than your other levels but still it doesnt work out. Some of the tiles dont fit and the level seems empty. Add more eyecandy!

+Weapon placement/music+

Weapon placement is okay. Some times I found out there are too many weapons in one spot. The music doesnt fit in this level whatsoever. CHANGE IT NOW! I dont even know why you picked this music.

First of all, why is there a warp that comes out of no where. There are also a few spots where you can get stuck very easily and it gets every annoying.

You’re entirely right when you say it was difficult to effectively add more eyecandy to this level. The tileset is simply horrendous… but the level compensated well.

I liked it. It had all the standard elements, like the tubes and the warps, as well as those hidden compartments that were thankfully obvious enough to discover even in the heat of battle. Moving from place to place was not a chore, either.

Problems:

1) It works fine for a battle level, but the level size could have been a little bigger— maybe gone a little more to the sides.

2) The less powerful weapons were found in the hardest places to reach, and the most powerful ones were found at the start of the level.

3) Like I said, even though this is a generally good level, the tileset is simply awful.

Despite that, I’d recommend this home-cooked level.

Because there not bad.And its more interesting to see how i used to levelmake,now please do this,(PA),because all you are doing is trying to find anything i do or say against me.

Not as much eyecandy to.
I disagree DX i love those spings in gamplay.
As musti said this would be great for TB.Brige needs more eyecandy to.
ammo placement is great as well.
Try more harder on eyecandy next time.
The gargole bit has bad eyecandy on the bottom left take a look.
I have played this twice with people and the gamplay is quick.

I give this a 8.2 not as good as haunted gardons :( but still got a great theme to it. of gamplay.

Alright it sucks no doubt. The springs are dumb. Try to make you’re next level better.

Hmm, kind of good! Nice placed. But still the springs suck.

Eycandy

The eycandy was good in the house bit but not in the garden.
I liked how you seporated the garden from the house.you put put bricks and the ground in mixed together to start seporating,same as well as the ground.
The roof eyecandy was ok but bumpy,and a bit bad,you could go through the roof on one bit

Gameplay

Gameply is fun (get a lot of people on this level then you will see),you can camp at the top of the roof to :).
Bad thing is theres only one way to get into the house,you can take a warp to the top,i got hit by a camper tho .
good choice of the music and tilset tho.

Conlusion
has to be one of your best levels
to date. Il give this a 8.7
was going to be a 8.5.
I don’t feel like this is a must have thing so no download recommendation or no ,no download recommendation .

I’ll make this review short:

I completely disagree (Except for the tileset) with musti. There was not a lot of eyecandy that gave the impression the level was ‘spooky’. Places felt empty. There was no exciting gameplay and there was a warp thet was put in a dodgy place. Good music and tileset choice though.
