EYECANDY
The eyecandy gives the level alot of rain in it beackround.
It`s makes the level little bit scary.
AMMO placement
The pu`s hiding very good and the pus are very good for the level.
Other ammo placement is good too.
GAME PLAY
It`s very confused level.

Time to review again!
First impressions: A level by NiQ of OLC and TF, which is quite small again, but here I go on with the review.
Gameplay: Here is an almost symmetrical level with a good spring placement. The layout may be confusing sometimes, but I like it. The level is quite easy to learn. The level’s flow is also a strong part, the level is quite easy to get around in. It’s quite closed in some places again, but it doesn’t really matter alot, the level makes it a bit less fun. The level has a bonus with 1 seeker PU in it.
Conclusion gameplay: Nice spring placement, flow and layout. Layout may be confusing sometimes.
Eye candy/Tileset use: This is nice, there are translucent walls in layer 3, layer 2 has something too, and layer 5 has some other translucent thing. Layer 4 has nice eye candy, and I like it. Tileset use was good, there are alot of things used out of the tileset.
Conclusion eye candy/tileset use: Nice eye candy, good tileset use.
Pickup placement: This level has alot of ammo, probably too many. There is alot of gun9 here. There is way too many ammo close to the ground, which makes the level less original. But, let’s continue. There are 4 PU, if I don’t make a mistake. There is Bouncy, Blaster, Seeker (in a bonus) and Toaster. The Bouncy PU is placed at the right side of the level. It’s again placed in a wall, so you get it with gun9 again. It becomes un-original now, and the Blaster PU has the same. The Toaster PU is placed somewhere, you get it when you go in a warp right next to the blue base. The red base has also a warp left next to it. It leads you to the Blaster PU. The level is not too big, so 4 PU is too many in my opinion. There is a full energy placed in the middle.
Conclusion pickup placement: Alot of ammo, too many is close to the ground. PU placement is un-original, seeker PU placed in a bonus, that’s nice.
Originality: This level is not too original. The tileset isn’t overused, that’s a good thing. The music was nice, never heard it. That PU placement was un-original, like I already said. The idea to put a seeker PU in a bonus was quite original. The idea to make some walls translucent was original thinking.
Conclusion originality: The level is not too original.
Fun Factor: This level is not too fun to play. Here is it again, a straight way to the base. Also, another quite closed level. Some tubes make it more fun, if there were no tubes, the fun factor was bad.
Conclusion fun factor: A level with a straight way to the base, and it’s quite closed. The tubes make the level not un-fun to play.
Others: Well, this level could be better.
Host this: Maybe if you like it by yourself and you are good in it, or else not too often.
Download it: Yes, sure.
Final rating: 7.2.

Yay, a new level of NiQ aka Snooz aka The Chair! Let’s see:
EYECANDY:
The eyecandy in this level really gives it a haunted atmosphere, thanks to the rain and the thunder in the background… The eyecandy is mostly good but sometimes hard to play in, because the stone tiles are as well placed in layer 4 (where they should be) as in layer 3 and 5. NiQ found a good solution for this problem by making the bricks in the foreground a little bit translucent, so you can see where you can walk through and where not.
AMMO:
Four PU’s in this level: Toast, Blaster, Bounce and Seeker. The first three are directly accessible, the Seeker can be found by getting 25 coins. It’s really good placed, when you jump into the warp you get the PU and in one second you are transported back to the level. The coins are placed nice, and most of them are easy enough to grab. The Powerups and the other ammo are placed well.
LEVEL STRUCTURE:
Perhaps there are some problems here, but they are not so bad. One big point is that if you want you can directly run from one base to another in one long run, you don’t have to jump. However, this is not a big problem, because if you want to have some Powerups you have to move around the level, especially for the Seek PU, which is hidden.
GAMEPLAY:
This level has a nice flow, and after you get used to the bricks in foreground and background (it took me a few minutes) the gameplay becomes better and better. It really has the atmosphere of a corrupted castle, because of the BG eyecandy and the mysterious paths…. The music is OK, fits to this level.
————
RATINGS
————
A good level of NiQ, which has really not much problems, but sometimes is a little bit annoying to play. With a little bit improvement this level could get a 8.0 from me, but not now.
Score: a 7.5 from me
Download this: Yes
Host: Maybe a few times, don’t let it get too overhosted.
Interesting filename. The “1a” is a nice touch.
GAMEPLAY:
The layout is mostly balanced, aside from some questionable powerup placement (I’ll get back to that later). The flow is decent, but since the level is restrictive, there isn’t much place to go. The close base placement and start positions will probably make this frustrating for duels since it won’t be too hard to capture. I wouldn’t trust this level enough for a duel or a 2on2.
EYE CANDY:
The tileset was used in a slightly new way, but the transparent bricks in the foreground might get in the way or add confusion at first. The eye candy is mostly average, though some of the wrong brick tiles were used in various places.
CARROT AND AMMO PLACEMENT:
With the way the layout is, the full energy carrot at the top middle can offer the first person to score a major advantage. I liked the powerup placement the least out of everything. This is what hurts the level the most. I simple don’t see how it could work. On the right side of the level, there’s the bouncer and toaster powerups, while on the left there’s only the blaster in the wall. The coin warp, which leads to the seeker powerup, might be better with a few less coins since the level was designed for a low number of players, though it’s not bad as it is. The ammo seems too easy to access in places, but I can live with it.
HOST THIS OFTEN?
I know I wouldn’t. It’s too small for my liking, although that isn’t the biggest problem. I’m rating this a 7.2 for all the reasons I’ve mentioned.
Let’s see this level:
EYECANDY:
Mmmm. I don’t really like this eyecandy here, but it’s not really the fault of NiQ. He did the best thing with it what is possible, but the tileset SUCKS in my opinion. It’s far too bright, and the background hurts my eyes when I play the level too long. Also, there is o floor placed beneath the bases, but it looks like. I don’t like it when a base doesn’t stand on vast floor. For the rest the eyecandy is decent, not much wrong.
AMMO:
Actually not bad. It’s an original idea indeed to let the TNT do the explode things near the powerups, it’s something else then the usual EB. In total, the eyecandy is decent.
LEVEL STRUCTURE:
Maybe this is where the real problems lie. The level is a little bit claustrophobic, with narrow corridors and a lot of sucker tubes. The makes the level a bit boring, and it lets the player more watch then play. Maybe make the level more open next time.
GAMEPLAY:
I didn’t really liked the level when I played it, maybe because the annoying background is hurting my eyes, I don’t really like the sucker tube use and the music. However, the is a certain feeling when you play this level, a felling of sewers… the flavour is good.
————
RATINGS
————
For some reasons I can’t give this level higher then a 7.5, maybe because there a a lot of things I don’t like about it. However, the level is innovating in some ways, like the TNT PU destruction, I’ve never seen that before. Maybe some more space next time?
Score: 7.5
Download: Yes.
Host: Yes, maybe a few times or so.
Interesting choice of tileset.
GAMEPLAY:
It certainly was not what I was expecting, and that’s not necessarily a good thing. The gameplay seems to focus on a lot sucker tubes and narrow passageways throughout the level. I never really liked either, especially the narrow passageways, but it’s not as bad as it gets here. I can get around easily enough, but I think camping may become too much of an issue. I can see myself getting frustrated with the tubes. But there are a few things (well, maybe just one thing) about this level that I really like (e.g. the bases can be shot at from below with powered-up bouncers). Anyway, the layout is a tad different, but I don’t like it as much as I could.
EYE CANDY:
While the eye candy here isn’t bad, the tileset choice isn’t that great. It’s not exactly easy to make really good eye candy with this set, but it does come close. It’s a little innovative in places although distracting in others, such as with the aqua green tiles in the background. Overall, it’s nothing extraordinarily special, so it’s just slightly above average.
CARROT AND AMMO PLACEMENT:
The full energy carrot at the bottom middle is placed well enough as it is. Same goes with the ammo, but the RF powerup is questionable. What I liked a bit was that the toaster and bouncer powerups are easiest accessed with the hidden TNT. It looks like one of the most useful methods of using TNT I’ve ever seen.
HOST THIS OFTEN?
Maybe like once for a duel, although I personally wouldn’t want a duel here. Something bigger and more open would have been more enjoyable. 7.7 is what I think of this level.
Meh, might as well review it.
Gameplay/Layout: Interesting. It uses mostly sucker tubes, barely any springs. Original, but confusing at times. 94,21, and 3,21, could be a floatup or something there, since I run into the wall and have to jump to get in the sucker tube. Layout feels a bit smallish and at times, crowded. The level could’ve possibly have been larger. Other than that it’s alright.
Pros: Fairly good gameplay, original, interesting layout.
Cons: A bit too crowded, needs a floatup or a ramp at the two positions I mentioned.
Rating: 8
Eyecandy: Its pretty much rux. Better than what I did with this tileset nearly a year ago. There’s a bug on one of the green pipe things in the bg (a peice of the pipe is floating midair just below the actual thing), a small bug which could’ve easily been fixed, but probably wasn’t notice. You could just fix it and reupload the level if you want, since it sorta brings down the eyecandy mark a bit. Other than that, I love the eyecandy here.
Pros: Pretty good eyecandy, considering what can be done with the tileset.
Cons: The minor bg thing, some parts could of been a bit better.
Rating: 8.5
Placement of Stuff: Bases are placed on opposite sides of the level, one carrot in the middle (full energy) and 3 powerups (RF, Toast and Bouncy). The RF is above the full energy, and the toast and bouncy are in seperate sides in the wall, reachable by either bouncer or the TNT placed under the bases. The powerups aren’t noticable much unless you have the time to leisurely walk through the whole level and look for them (which I doubt you will in the middle of a duel), but once you know where they are, you shouldnt have a problem. Also, while its interesting that TNT plays a part in this level, electroblasters are stronger than TNT and could’ve been used instead, but TNT probably fits better in this level anyways (since its fairly small and has a lot of suckers etc, EB might be a bit too evil). Placement is generally ok
Pros: Pretty much alright
Cons: None that affect the rating greately.
Rating: 8.6
Overall (not an average): A decent level some bugs which could easily be fixed in less than 1 minute, and nothing really bad or major. I’d prolly play this some time. Good Job
Pros: A decent level with great eyecandy (considering the tileset it uses), good placement and a spiffy layout.
Cons: Has some small bugs which bring it down a tad bit.
Rating: 8.2
Final Rating: 8.325, rounded down to an 8.2. Spiffy level, Good Job and a download reccomendation.
Hey Snooz a.k.a Niq here is my review.
Btw i know i have bad grammar.
EYECANDY:
Great!!! I love it all the layers are used except layer 1. First of all i like the background a lot i see jail windows and pipes and moving ladders what looks cool and ass R3ptile said it is origenal. Layer 5 is used for other eyecandy stuff like green pipes and more. But there is a lot more layer 4 is really well used and there are a lot of eyecandy stuff there to like windows what looks like jail things and paper with words on it and different tiles used in the ground and and and i love it.
In layer 3 there are the basic things hiding you in a secret and the suckertubes good. Aslo layer 2 is used like water and green vences and some small details good. In the level there are no tilesbugs at all. I also like the level because this tileset isn`t much used so the level has a specail looks like other levels doesn`t have. Well i don`t know more to say sorry about that.
PLACEMENT:
Great!!! The ammo placement is great there are mutiple ammo`s and all placed where it should be i found no places where was ammo and where it doesn`t fit. There are small and big groups of ammo that`s good but there could also be groups with 2 kinds or more kinds of ammo except only 1 kind of ammo but still that doesn`t really matter. There are also 3 powerups in the level one in the center the RF pu and 2 on each site of the level. On the left there is a Toaster and on the right a Bouncer powerup. To get those left and right powerups you need to use TNT that`s good . The springs are also really well placed and get me where i wanted i din`t banged against a wall like some levels have. Then there is also a Full energy what is very well placed. For both of the bases it`s easy to get the Full energy. There is nohing more to tell about i think.
GAMEPLAY:
Perfect!!! I like the gameplay a lot of this level and i will tell you why. First of all the level is really fair because it`s each site is the same only turned. And because each site has the same ammo and both a powerup there is nothing to complain about. Also a good point is that there are no dead ends. I mostly like the suckertubes in this level because you can go to places very fast without needing to go all to the other site or so. Although the suckertubes are well placed at the start it confused me wich way they go but still great. With all those suckertubes there are much ways to go to the base or anywhere else of the level good. Also good is that you can easely run here without stopping or really losing a lot of speed. There is so much ways where you can walk that`s so good. Also the start pos are good and the flags are well placed. There is also a one way and that`s also good.
OTHERS:
Good!!! The level size is good and the music fits in the level and i also think that the level is origenal.
conclusion: A must have if you like CTF levels and host this many times. This is a €8.0€

Ok, here comes my review.
First impressions: One of NiQ’s many levels.
Gameplay: Good/Very Good. This level has a nice gameplay, there are alot of sucker tubes that help you get up. Also, there is alot of one way. The layout is nice, too. There are almost no springs here, which makes it quite original, too. This tileset isn’t used alot, too. Back to the gameplay, there is also some float up in some places. The level is also again symmetrical, and has good balance then too. The flow is good again, too.
Conclusion gameplay:
Pros: Nice gameplay, alot of one way, float ups and sucker tubes. A nice layout and flow, too.
Cons: A few springs, which are faster.
Eye candy/Tileset use: Good/Very Good. There is nice eye candy here, the tileset is quite small, but the tileset is used nice here. That there are alot of tubes, makes the eye candy nice, too. There is a nice layer use, too. There is lots of stuff in layer 3 and 5, and I like it. The only con is probably that the level is quite small, and the tileset is too small too.
Conclusion eye cnady/tileset use
Pros: Nice eye candy, lots of stuff in layer 3 and 5.
Cons: The tileset is small, a bigger tileset would be better. The level could be bigger too.
Pickup placement: Good/Very Good. This seems nice too, there is nice ammo placement. Although, there could be more bouncers and there is no RF ammo. There is a RF PU, which makes it probably worse. If there was RF ammo too, it would be much better. There are again two power-ups with one at each side, and they are hidden for the most part of them. It’s not a really good idea to make them hidden, but this time, you get them not with Gun 9, but with TNT. There is a Toaster PU at the left side with again a Bouncy PU at the right side. The last level of NiQ had that too, and it seems overused now. The RF PU is in the centre of the level(I think). There is a full energy, placed at the bottom-centre of the level. There are again boring groups of ammo, like 6 × 2 or 5 × 2. It doesn’t really matter, but other groups would look more fun. There is TNT near the bases too, and I don’t know where they are used for. Also, there is no fast fire, but it doesn’t really matter too.
Conclusion placement
Pros: Nice ammo placement.
Cons: Boring groups of ammo, PU placement is not too original.
Originality: Good/Very Good. This is a quite original level, like I said, the PU Placement is not too original, but the idea to use more tubes than springs is. The base placement isn’t too original too, it’s easy to get to them. The tileset use is original, though. I don’t like this tileset that much, but I don’t know what to say about it. I never saw the music file or heard it, so that’s a good job.
Conclusion originality
Pros: Nice music choice and tileset choice. Nice idea to use more tubes than springs.
Cons: Pu placement is unoriginal.
Fun Factor: This level is quite fun to play I think. The base placement seems not too special, but that tube that leads you to the RF PU makes it more fun. Because, if you start a duel, your opponent and you always go for that PU. And the fun in it is that if you are faster then he/she at it, you have more chances to win.
Conclusion fun factor: Quite fun level.

Wow! This is a really good level. It is very big. The weapon placement is really good. I think this should be hosted a lot. Everyone should download this.

Graphics: Nice tileset, friend. Effects, yes…SUCKERTUBES!!! :)!!!
Creative stuff here.
Sound/FX: No new FX. The music is new, not bad though. ‘Nuff said.
Placement: Ingenious. A concept of both machines with a direct route with all the weapons at the top? !!!!!
Conclusion: 9.7 You made the level of the year, um…Dog…?
Time for a review!
First impressions: One of Snooz’s many levels, but the first time using Niq account.
Gameplay: Good/Very Good. The gameplay here is nothing special, it’s just like the other Snooz levels. This is again a symmetrical level with a nice layout and good flow, but, as R3ptile said, there is only one boring way to right or left. The spring placement is good enough, and there are some tubes that help you go up without jumping. So I can say the gameplay here is quite good.
Eye candy: Good/Very Good. This is nice, but not really Snooz quality imo. I can’t say this is perfect. But, I think no level has perfect eye candy worth a 10. There is lots of stuff in layer 3 and 5, and I can say I like that. But, the tileset doesn’t look that good. Although there are quite many tiles of the tileset used.
Pickup placement: Good/Very Good. This is better then the others. I can say I like this, but not good enough for a very good. There is enough ammo and there are good groups of ammo too, but still, there are 2 places where I would like ammo too. And that’s near the bases or something around that. There is 1 full energy, and it’s, of course, good placed (in the centre/middle). There are 3 PU, 1 Bouncer at the right side, one Toaster at the left side, and a RF near the top of the level. That’s, of course, good enough.
Originality: Good. Nothing special about originality this time, the music is used more times, but the tileset isn’t overused for CTF levels. I only know Space Cataclysm or something and Galaxius(not Galaxia). The name looks like FS’s level with this tileset then. But, it doesn’t matter.

Officially going with your other name now? That just makes everything more confusing. Everyone has so many aliases these days…
GAMEPLAY:
The level is symmetrical, so that takes care of balance. The layout isn’t too new or innovative, but it’s decent. The general layout seems too narrow, though it doesn’t make it too hard to move through. Also, not all of the sucker tube routes are useful, and I find the tubes on the side to be extremely risky and not worth using half of the time. This level has okay gameplay from what I can tell, but I don’t see myself playing here often.
EYE CANDY:
The eye candy in this level has a little original here and there. However it’s a little confusing in places like with some of the 3rd layer tiles, and the background is distracting with it’s unrealistic relative movements. I didn’t really like the BG much at all, but the eye candy is alright overall.
CARROT AND AMMO PLACEMENT:
The full energy carrot and powerups are placed well enough for my liking. Ammo placement is decent, but it felt like it was in the most inconvenient of places and at times I found it hard to get. I can’t say anything bad about anything else.
HOST THIS OFTEN?
Maybe a few times. Nothing bad about this level aside from the lack of ingenuity in places and the limiting layout. 7.5’s my rating.
Another level with NO SEEK POWERUP. YAY.
EYECANDY: 8.5
Isn’t as good as in your other levels. The stuff is still good. I like the layer7 (Or 6?) windowthing. Yay.
GAMEPLAY: 6.3
OMG THIS LVL BORING THIS NO FUN =(. A straight way from blue to red base. You do not need to go UP or DOWN any time except to get ammo. Also the sucker tubes near bases are getting annoying that I accidentally keep getting on these. Awwwwwww.
AMMO/CARROT PLACEMENT: 9.3
This is where the level ROX on. I like the balance. You need electro blasters to get the powerups (They are in an easy place either.). Oh joy.
FUN FACTOR: 5.5
The level is so simply stupid in any duel, 2vs2 or 3vs3. The level works like this: AMMO, GO-TO-BASE, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT……. No joy. The text is right on the “another boring level” There’s nothing else really to do.
OVERALL: 7
DOWNLOAD RECOMMENDED? If very bored that boring levels are considered entertaining, yes.
HOST? Read above.[This review has been edited by the WINNER]
I saw this one in Winner’s server, so let’s see…
EYECANDY:
Not bad, but I’ve seen better in NiQ’s levels… Galactic Warfare had much better eyecandy. Anyways it’s not bad, although sometimes a little bit confusing (ground tiles in background, so you see it like a dead end)
AMMO:
Good placement. There are three PU’s: Seek, RF and Toast, which is satisfying for someone like Winner =) and also the other ammo is spread well among the level. Good balance, just like the Carrot which is in the middle of the level.
LEVEL STRUCTURE:
The level is symmetrical and well balanced (I wonder why so many people make levels symetric, it’s kind of boring) But the level is good. Lots of sucker tubes though, which is boring sometimes.
GAMEPLAY:
There is really a good low in the level, which is the best part about the level, I guess… You can easily run and jump around the smooth level and taking ammo is easy.
