Again an update to Moonblazes World aka Mystic Forest aka Mysterious Forest.
Well I’m not gonna give a whole review again, but:
There are no layer 6 things, for layer 7 you could use the big forest thingie. There is not a real nice layer 8 background thingie imho.
Much things to choose from when making the ground, there is grass, there are caves, weird computerised stuff and brown ground. Well nice tileset, but I think that the computerised things don’t fit with the rest, it are totally unnatural colors.
Next time try to make a good tileset in one time ;)
This is the same tileset as Parika Hotel, only in this one there are closets and clocks included, wich werent included in the previous one, but there are also things left out.
Edit: Piccolo, don’t rate things low when you don’t like hotels, this tileset is certainly not worth just a 1.
And Black Rabite, give reviews man! Don’t write just one line, I’ve seen you doing this the last couple of d/l’s. At least tell why you give the rating you give.

The theme of this tileset is pretty unknown to me….
The tileset consists of grey stones, yellow things, 1 exit + 1 text sign, a few clouds, a few coloured blocks, vines and spikes.
It lacks (here comes the list again):
- eyecandy
- destr. blocks
- poles
- sucker tubes
- arrows
- textures
Next time, think of a GOOD and ORIGINAL THEME, add much eyecandy, don’t forget good textures and include all needed things (destr.blocks, poles, etc.)!!!!!!
This is NOT a tileset, you could just post a topic on the JCF about this (altough it would be closed immediately).
The point Pavlik wants to make is that you can mail him when you need tileset-help, his mail is: paulik@yandex.ru
Now you don’t have to download this thing anymore, all it has to say is what I said above.
(If you really need help you can better mail disguise tho….)
Well, this is indeed a lot better than your first tileset. But, it’s a-n-other hotel tileset, and certainly not the best I’ve seen.
The shading isnt very good and stuff, but it is nice drawn.
Mah advice: Next time, think of an original theme, put good textures on everything and add more tones (is that right?….) of a color to make the shading look better.
And dont forget to add much, much eyecandy!
I looove eyecandy.
This tileset consists of a green block with a light-green edge around it with wich you can make platforms, ground and diagonal things. Also, you have the alfabet to use and some screenies.
In other words, there are no:
- destr. blocks
- poles
- vines
- exit signs
- arrows
- text signs
- sucker tubes
- spikes
There is also NO eyecandy…
This needs much work and is NOT worth a download….
Well, nice tileset, again..
This time it has hooks, vines and more spikes. Also there is a Scary Sarry statue and a (grey jazz w/ knife) Moonblaze statue. You can now do more things with the stone things and there are several types of switches. Well done!
The tileset can use more EYECANDY and textures and more ‘must-needed’ things (destr. blocks, poles, perhaps suckers, text sign, arrows, etc.)

Well, this is a small tileset with many wizard (is that the good word? A man who does trickies?:) ) things, like a hat, a set of cards and stuff like that. The destruction animations are once again very nice, the textures on some things are very good. But the shading on everything except the balls is very bad; round things mostly look flat and stuff like that. The tileset also is too small to do many things with..
And Piccolo, you CAN give a 6.5 when you like it. I think its nice, with nice ideas but not beautiful enough and with not enough tiles..
Keep on making sets![This review has been edited by Piccolo aka SoulFire]
Well, a nice tileset. The textures on the stones and ground are good, but the shapes not really. The layer 6 and 7 mountains are NOT beautifull and it has many screenshot/not-self-drawn things in it, for example, the 7 dwarfs from Snow White/Disney, that’s pretty ugly IMHO. Also the destruct blocks, exit and text signs are from the official sets and the extra eyecandy stuff mainly consist of jazz, spaz and lori screenies.
A ‘mwah, but nice or something..” for this tileset/[This review has been edited by Piccolo aka SoulFire]
Well, great tileset, but, as usual it doesnt have enough EYECANDYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And no spikes, and WR it also has exit signs that are usefull….
It does have poles, vines, stuff and layer 6 + 7 stuff, a good background, good textures (bleh to yer computer effects! ;) ) and stuff…
tileset deserves an 8, but it is rated too high….. but…… No, I wont let my rating be influenced by other ratings… so an 8![This review has been edited by Piccolo aka SoulFire]
For description, combine my review of Digitalized 1 and WR’s review.
But, it has no extra eyecandy stuff (wich is IMO very important) and…and I am out of words for the rest. Just download. Don’t expect too much, but it is worth a d/l
A 6.9 or 6.8 if it was possible…
An uber simple and small tileset. But also uber nice for such a small tileset :)
Man I liked the tileset when I saw the lvl, but I have to say: No eyecandy stuff, no hooks, no vines, no poles, no destruction blocks, no suckers, no spikes, no etc..
No variation.
How long did it took to make it? 5 minutes?
But I tho like it :), it’s just too small and doesnt have the stuff…
Edit:
@AJ2f, yea. true. very true.[This review has been edited by Piccolo aka SoulFire]
whew, when I saw the lvl I didn’t realised it was such a small tileset!
The theme is space, and I’ll start off with some positive points:
- The computers are nicely drawn
- There are several small aliens who are IMO pretty cool :)
The tilesets looks smooth, but when you know how to make a tileset and stuff, you know that this all very simple drawn.
There are (almost) no textures and not much eyecandy.
And, the space-blocks-spaceship theme is overoveroverrrrrused!!!
This is by far not the best tileset in that theme, it’s too small and simple. But it is a nice try. [This review has been edited by Piccolo aka SoulFire]
First of all: nice tileset!
Second: That you havent used anything expensive doesnt matter, it doesnt make your tileset better and no reviewer will give a higher rating.
Well, the tilesets theme is a cave. The cave has diamonds and bone stuff.
A lot of destruction animations and stuff. The tiles that are self drawn are nice but have not enough detail IMO.
Well, keep on making tilesets!
hmmm, pretty short review… :(
[This review has been edited many times by Piccolo aka SoulFire][This review has been edited by Piccolo aka SoulFire]
Well, the only nice thing Imho are the suckertubes. The tileset is way to small, has no real theme, no eyecandy, no spikes, no hooks, no vines, no poles, no background, no layer 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, and 7 things.
The tiles are well drawn, thats togheter with the suckers the only good thing ‘bout this tileset.[This review has been edited by Piccolo aka SoulFire]
Very nice tileset!
The tilesets’ theme is a forest. As ground you can put down various types of blocks wich are basicly computer effects. You can choose from greenish blocks (wich I dont really like) and sort of stone type blocks (wich I do like). Also you can make caves with light sand colored blocks, wich I dont really like because you have to make ‘un-organic’ caves, they cant be round or look real, but have to be straight and stuff (I cant really explain this in English…)
On the ground you can place well done grass, and you can make wooden constructions. In the cave you can put Greek letters. And uhm.. some nice layer 7 stuff… thats it.
Suggestion: Do the stuff thats made with computer effects away and draw it yourself, you can do that! (Yes, I am anti tilesets created with computer effects:) )
[This review has been edited by Piccolo aka SoulFire]
Well, what Violet said. And:
The drawn things are sometimes a bit ugly IMHO, the masks are pretty bad..
Nice tileset
Edit: jup, a short review.. just read Violet CLM’s and take a little bit of the positive things off.. or something…whatever..[This review has been edited by Piccolo aka SoulFire]
Piccolo, aka means Also Known As, so its actually one person, I am Piccolo and SoulFirE…
Well, thnx for the reviews, I guess I really am st00pid for forgetting the diagonal tiles. That will be included in my next tileset aswell as a in 8-bit working textured background and unmasked poles. About the grass, I aint gonna look to pics of dead grass when I’m creating my own fantasy world, have you ever seen red creatures standing on one place forever, dont think so, that is also my fantasy, nothing is really realistic…
Thanks for the reviews and critics, very usefull, you probably will see an updated version someday..[This review has been edited by Piccolo aka SoulFire]
Hmm.. Overrated IMHO.
I dont really know why they get two 8.2’s, but yea…
IMHO there is:
- not enough texture
- not enough variation
- not enough eyecandy
(the clouds are btw ,I think, not self drawn)
And more stuff, but I dont feel like giving a long review..
Edit: ok, sorry if the clouds werent ripped.. And perhaps much variation, but..ehm.. just look at disguises review:)
I didnt really had time to write a long/good review ‘cause I had to go to the dentist..and…blah[This review has been edited by Piccolo aka SoulFire]
Nice tileset,
but it has stolen tiles from the beach tileset, uhm…. I cant write a big review right so, my advice use Agamas Egypt.
Ok, thats mean, but it just needs work, and dont steal from other tilesets
