It’s a pretty censored good level pack. But there was just way, way, way, too much food and other pickups, especially in the carrottus level. Tilesets were interestingly used, but there were a few parts which looked a little odd. Good job. :)
7.5 from me.
A pretty good level pack, but I didn’t like the eyecandy and there was way too much food. Plenty of original eyecandy, some of the most interesting ideas I’ve come across in JJ2 yet!
Haha I’m evil so I give this a 7 anyway! Nice, ILS![This review has been edited by EvilMike]
Castle level: 4
To much enemies which i had to cheat to get rid off. I also found eyecnady and tile bugs by the dozens. The layout wasnt that good either. Nuff said
Diamondus: 5
The eyecandy was WAY confusing at times, took all the fun out of it when the bees where attacking me, but i was behind some loathesome eyecandy and couldnt see where the bees were therefore almost got killed. To much enemies here as well, and to little ammo and food etc, not really fun to play as well. There were WAYto much bees, took the fun out of playing this level.
Inferno: 6
Had basic eyecandy, i didnt like where i starte this from. There were to mant enemies again, the food might of been a tad bit overused this time.
Tubelectric: 5
OMG WHAT KIND OF A BAKCROUND!?!?!?!!?#! I didnt liek the eyecnady much.
OVERALL: Sorry, but i dont think this gets a 7. The eyecandy is nothing special, the gameplay (on my opinion) is poor because you get hit by enemies every second and the eyecandy just makes it worse. But, there arent many tile bugs (xept in the castle one) and its basically an average pack, nothing special.
…Look, a good game pack, put in the first level(A barrel of monkeys)there are way to many enemies and way to less carrots…
A 7 for the level pack “Triple 7.”
And, yes, it’s very large for one ZIP.
Not bad music, but I can’t really rate it. Not my favorite style, either.
This is an example of what a good level pack should look like!
Wow. Astounding. This is one of the best packs of all time.
I am afraid I can not review this in full, but let’s just say that this pack is simply astounding and definitely one of the most under-reviewed (not underrated, persay) packs of all time on J2O. The eyecandy, gameplay, and everything is stunning. This is what all level packs should be like.[This review has been edited by Trafton AT]
MUST… DOWNLOAD… VERY FEW… PROBLEMS… AWSOME… BOSS MUSIC!
great level but never let them start at the begining of the original game.
Not Really Jazz related music.. (fade some fade out) to bad because the music aint that bad =)
Nice selected music =) but a few can be better..
[Pack Music should not be rated – Fquist][This review has been edited by Fquist]
This levelpack still rocks! Its nearly one year old now but its still one of my favourite
single player packs. Layout, eyecandy and music selection in all four levels are awesome. Also its pretty difficult to beat.
A "must download" for everyone!
Aiko you have to upload them in pieces because you can only upload 1 mb a time !
I was undecided between 7 and 6 points, too. The "triple 7" level pack includes
four very good single player levels using different tilesets and some very loud rock guitar background
music :-) The eyecandy is pretty good and the layout is, as EvilMike stated, very original.
Actually i wanted to give 6 points here because the details of the pack arent okay: for example, none of the levels
has a nextlevel setting (but, isnt it a pack?). Also, you have to download the music in seperate files which isnt a good idea at all.
However, the levels themselves are worth a download.
Castle level: 6
Toooooooooooo many warps…
The level is fun, but I found the enimies took cheap shots at me sometimes, and that lowered the rating.
If you use spaz and kick at the exit you fall down a pit and don’t go to the next level. Theres also too many carrots.
The level is pretty original.
Daimondus level: 7
This one has too many bees. I like the foreground, although it sometimes is bad because it hides badguys.
Inferno level: 5
I hate this. For one thing there are too many ravens, sometimes the fog covers up the spikes so I get hit, and there are too many fire sounds so sometimes it is so loud you can’t hear any other sounds.
Tube level: 6
Its just a level worthy of a 6. Nuff said.
Overall: 7
Don’t ask why it got a 7 instead of a 6. Thats just what I give it overall.
5 points for being avarage, 2 for using the tilesets right.
