Cool, finally a level using this set. :-)
The design is cool and so is the eye candy. Weapons were well placed and I liked the bg (even though you could have used more than one bg layer…) The music is cool but another one would have fit better.
In my opinion a GREAT download for anyone, so click the “Download” link above now!
Aiko, it becomes clear we have different tastes ;)
Well, the level is pretty average in my opinion, although the vines are quite challenging. Ammo? Nothing but toasters. I still lonve the trigger crates, i dunno why. All in all a high 6.7

Yay! Very good idea to make a good single player level using the awesome Inferno Night set. It’s one of my favourite tilesets and it’s quite hard to use in the JCS.
But the resulting level is pretty cool: design and eyecandy are great (the layer with the snowflakes is very neat in my opinion) and the enemy placement fits well. Same with the background music tune (qsystem51.j2b).
Overall, “The Hive” is a great thing to DOWNLOAD. I would recommend you to DO THAT NOW (very high seven points)!
the (( logo at the end? its cause it was a (( tileset, that is.
and yes, i copied many stuff from the game, but i created things myself too. btw is it legal to get points off just because it has a logo in it?
Well, i like the set very much, exceps for these things:
- The (( Logo at the end, this tiuleset has nothing to do with ((
- Well, i play the DBZ SNES games too, and i only saw a few blocks you made yourself, mostly its copied from the games, like some backgrounds, and chars
afteral, i think its a decent set
I looooove this tileset it is so cool!
Nuff said.
DBZ Rocks how dare u say it not good I love tileset because I am a huge DBZ fan!!!!!!!!
Quit it.

Its a great tilset.
You can make good levels with it
Although i dont like dragon ball Z that does not affect the rating.
this tileset is for the people who LIKE it not dislike it
Don’t you know what DragonBall is?
It was very popular indeed here in Portugal 4-5 years ago.
Well, it is completely stupid, not minimalist, but unlikely.
And I would say boring too, because, to make people see the next episode (they are all linked, so you see only one episode you won’t understand it) the most important fights take several weeks…
PS: MS-DOS is almost dead in Windows ME
Even though I don’t like anime that much, this tileset is decent. It’s got a few pictures, and if you’re a cartoon fan, you should get this. It also includes a half decent example level.
I should also note that you should never password the example level. :-P
Well, i have no clue who or what exactly "Dragon Ball Z" is but this is not the right place to give my opinion on japanese TV cr…ehm…comics.
Now, this is a pretty good tileset with a lot of useful and well-drawn tiles (despite the fact the authors used Evil Paint :-). It even features many cool animations (fighting heros of that TV show i guess).
Another great thing are the background structures that look quite interesting. Splash and Payback also included a nice example level that shows many elements of the tileset in use.
To conclude my review: this is definitely worth a DOWNLOAD RECOMMENDATiON! For all comic and custom tileset fans this will be a good choice.
P.S.: As an old MS-DOS veteran, i nearly start crying when recognizing filenames like "Dragon Ball ((.j2t"…argh…;-)))

leveldesign and eyecandy ok

Episode 3? Well, I promised to Fire he can build it, cos I’m going to work on my new TRILOGY (so far name: Adventures of SPLASH) and I promise it’s gonna be real good!
I played this episode as one of the first ever played and I must say: It took SPLASH quite a time to build. But the result makes up the time.
This baby is real fun. It got some nice puzzling things in it and some good enemy positions. SPLASH really proofs he can build anything with any tileset. If this episode is too hard for you, just get a friend to play it with you. In Coopmode it also rocks. You can assist eachother real good with the bosses and puzzles.
Another thing which is good: the eyecandy. You’ve got to have 10 inch thick glasses to see a bug or anything.
Well, just download it and you’ll see I’m right.
One final thing before I go to bring the paper around: When is episode 3 coming? =:)
<It’s Payback Time>
Wow, one of the few single players I’ve liked in a while. :-)
This episode has good design, decent eye candy and nice music picks. (I had all of the music files already, actually. :-P)
Some of the ideas were creative, however there were some problems, one is the obvious fact that the water looks bad in the castle level. The other being the fact that it needed a few more save positions.
Overall worth a download. Good job. :-)
Wow, this is pretty cool. "CarrotClan Episode2" features 16 levels that show us many new interesting ideas (things i’ve never seen) and a very good layout.
The eyecandy is good and the levels (some of them use famous custom tilesets by Astronia and MEZ! btw) are pretty hard in single player mode and include many challenging puzzles. The pack also includes some well-know (but still great) custom music files that fit quite good in each level.
To sum it up, this pack is very very close to 8 points (7.4): you really should DOWNLOAD THiS and have some single player fun!
(Darn, im still unsure about my rating…maybe its EIGHT points, who knows? :-)
this is my second episode. it took me quite some time to make cos of school (bleh!). i just hope you like playing it. (please read the readmefile, and mail me if u see any bugs at carrotclan@yahoo.com)
I fully agree with Aiko.. It could use a bit more eye candy :)
(Already asked Fquist lots of times if I could switch places with aiko but eh..)
