Further I agree with aiko..
yeah didnt put in a next lvl setting…cos there isnt a end in the lvl :)
“Alien Testlab” is a brand-new tileset having about 330 nice-looking tiles. There are some basic level building structures like walls, “pavement” and the like. Spikes and some background tiles are also useful. Unfortunately the whole look of the tileset is not really what i personally would term “cool” (as in “Whew! That rocks!”). Most of the tiles look boring somehow, i don’t know…maybe it’s the colours. Plus, as far as i can see, there is no real concept behind the set (well, the Alien thingy, of course). By the way, did you ever see a green Ferrari Testarossa??? (and how does this car fit into the tileset?).
Splash also included a small example level where he tries to show us some advantages of his tileset. However, the next level setting is wrong :-)
Well, to sum it up: the main idea behind this tileset doesn’t become clear enough and there are too many “useless tiles” (you know what i mean) like Jazz pictures, website advertisements and so on.
However, it’s DEFINITELY WORTH A LOOK![This review has been edited by Aiko]
This is a tileset with:
~Some basic “platform” tiles
~Some cool animations
~Some cool pictures for eyecandy
~2 Weird copied textured backgrounds
I really like that fast car with jazz… It gives me what wimster promised but not did :)
I’ll throw a 7.5 to you. Catch it.

Awesome level Splash eyecandy is great.
( I like the waterfall :P)
Wow! This sure is the best jungle level ever. I like the waterfalls and the use of the layers. In one word: AWESOME
Rating removal. Clan bias may have affected rating. -Trafton[This review has been edited by Trafton AT]
Short reviews like those of Stiletto and JoJo don’t give the users sufficent information on the lvl.
Here’s my rating:
The eyecandy is brilliant. Effective use of the Jungle Tileset. The looks are, in my opinion, even better than Spy’s Mystic Forest Cave (download Bash). The waterfalls are awesome and with the loads of lvls we have today it’s very hard to come up with something original. Good work SPLASH.
[9.5/10]
The gameplay is not as good as the eyecandy. No oneway things, just what a good battlelevel needs. Good placement of springs and trees are used very effective.
[8.5/10]
Weapon-placement is terrific. Though Carrotus Squash still has a brilliant balane of weapons this one gets quite close too it.
[9/10]
Overall a solid 9.
Did I edit this? ;)

How can you have a battle with 1 ppl :)?
Anyway. My review. I really like the way Splash used the tileset. It’s kinda original. It has superb eyecandy, i really LOVE the waterfall idea. It’s not so big, but it has a good layout and that takes that setback (ahum) away. It has an custom music file which i don’t like too much, so i prefer the basic Jungle Music which rulz :).
Overall this is a VERY high downlaod recommendation! 8![This review has been edited by Fl@$h aka BlewMeUp]
I enjoyed playing this one! It’s challenging, but not too difficult (this means: it was possible to complete the level without cheating, unlike some other levels i know). It was too bad that you could only use the blaster and the toaster (although i just love that flamethrower), but then again, the eyecandy is good, and i know that it’s NOT easy to achieve that with the inferno tileset. (a funny thing happened when i fought the bubba boss at the end: the little devil was able to escape the arena through the tiny opening at the bottom and he didn’t come back). Splash’s levels were great when i was in the carrotclan (as “Bigfoot”), and it’s a pleasure to see that they still are.
The “Rainy Rain Forest” (pretty dull level name i think) is a great new battle map full of ideas and creativeness.
I really like the way the author used the Jungle tileset. Opinions may differ about the two waterfalls using the background tiles…i think they fit quite good. The eyecandy is really darn cool and even kinda reminds me of Spy’s awesome “Mystic Forest Cave”. Level design is also very, very good. It’s pretty small and tight, just what we need for a fun battle with 1-8 people.
Only small “downfall” is that i would have liked to hear the original Jungle music but that doesn’t take too much away of the good rating.
To sum it up, “Rainy Rain Forest” is a VERY VERY GOOD level and therefore a MUST DOWNLOAD! Great battle action guaranteed! (i was undecided between 8 and 7.5)
Original and Outstanding use of the tileset. Nice design. This is worth an 8.[This review has been edited by Newspaz]
yeah……cool lvl
i’m not a expert in this, but I think its a good lvl
Two very nifty levels, well crafted if, as has been said, short and easy.
Eyecandy is beatiful. I really liked the waterfalls :)
Sewer Surfing, however, is at one point to darn hard. Not hard in that you’ll die…it’s just flaming annoying :) Those tiny little platforms hardly give you a second to jump before you’re off.
Download these levels now, but play as Jazz. This place in Sewer Surfing is still difficult, but with Spaz you’ll probably be hitting your head against the wall :)
