Off we start again with my unusually large review:
Eyecandy: The eyecandy in this level was okay, but pretty basic. Nothing really caught my eye. It uses vines and sucker tubes and a good backround. The eyecandy is full and packed. A few minor mistakes here and there, but not much to worry about. Also, I noticed that those belts that move are floating without anything below them to make it look better. I find that to be weird looking.
Gameplay: The gameplay was pretty good, but for Jazz sometimes it’s a struggle. I suggest adding a few more springs in a few areas. I also noticed a few dead ends. Try to replace those with springs or tubes leading out.
Ammo: The amount of ammo was sparse in some places. A good amount of ammo in one spot, but barely any in another. Try adding different patterns of ammo to make it look more interesting. And what’s this? Gems in a battle level? It may look good, but gems in a battle is a nono. You also added food, which I don’t have a problem with.
Overall, Chemicals Labratorys is an average labrat level with good points and bad points. Download recommendation? Sure!
Great Level, I pretty much love it but… There could be a little more ammo,
Good job Electric
i was expecting it to look like easter. i was going like wha wheres the easter stuff. But the tileset is prity good
its a Great lvl and its succesfull made ,your hosting it now so i will go one playing ;) cya

Great program with tons of options , and it allows any jazz 2 player to make unique names and fur colours, so you
dont look like the average jj2 foo. I can bet this program took alot of work and deserves what I rate it, good job :D.[This review has been edited by Spotty]
Very nice…..uh…….everything :P
I liked the way the level was formed, ammo placed nicely but I wasn’t a huge fan of all the food sorry. There was a good idea of a puzzle inside a battle, but a battle?
A big fat 9 from me :)[This review has been edited by Red_XIII]
Mmmm…. Very nice. The gameplay is excellent and so is the weapons placement. The lvl does however, lack eyecandy and powerups. The only one is the seeker powerup and I guess that’s why there are so many carrots around. But then…who cares? I’ll give this an nice, normal 6.5. :-)
Cheers,
White Rabbit.
This is the art of masters. To be able to (sorta) make a new type of game within one. Evilmike ur gettin to good at this :P
This is one of the most helpful anti-cheater progs ive ever seen. Yay excellentness….
excellent level, what more can i say :P
Conceived other computers. NOT you´re and have it too large. Sorry you are NOT lucky kid. Evryone has same problem as I: read error! Sorry now take a 2 YEARS to make it and no go out of computer or sleep or eating. Mu ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Don´t worry take a rest after one WEEK!
:h ..eh.. sorry about it!
i played online in this one yesterday, and i must say that i like it. the eyecandy is looking good in here, and the weapon placement is also quite all right. like everyone else said, there are a few parts that are a bit too cramped, but other than that, this level is really worth the download!!
Grmbl!!!
I have that stupid error too!
Comp:
500 MHZ Windows 98 second edition.
Im not sure, but is it maybe because your installing
it in a Windows folder. Maybe there
is a security in windows wich doesnt allow people install stuff in Windows Folder ore something…

Edit:
Note*: When you open the zip file there are 3 files first click that *dat file then close it. Then click that *bin file close it too then. And then run Setup and you would be able to install correctly the game.

This is a WheeFun! level, music is cool for the level, and the only thing that could improve are the number of warps, hehe its a fun lev with good design.
This is an excellent battle lev that is quite big. It reminds alot of the single player castle levs. (which is a good thing)This would be a fun lev in battle, keep up ze good work.
Ok, i’m not fond of it, but It is very good like level pack!
-Good graphics
-Nice tileset
-medium for the story
-Nice lvl creation (Especially the dinosaur race lvl)
-the movie clips ……….they weren’t very interesting(sorry)
i would have given 9.5 but the last point is the reason i took of one point
cya!
Good level here ^^
It has fluently gameplay and enough space to battle!
I didn’t found any bugs in it.
The only thing I don’t like are the spikes at bottom ^^
But beside that this level is o.k.
Well, I don’t rate levels all that much, but since defalcon is a very kewlish person, I will rate this one. =P
The eyecandy in this level is nice, and I could hardly find any errors in it. (even though I really tried ;)
However, there are some errors in it. The corners in some places have annoying edges even though there are tiles for those type of corners in the tileset. There are also some errors when you stand next to third layer tiles, but it’s hard to avoid those errors so I’m not lowering the rating because of them.
The reasons why I won’t rate this higher than 7.7 is because of the corner-tiles-thingies and because it uses the diamondus tileset (which is very easy to work with.)
The rating is also lowered because it isn’t possible to rate 7.8 on J2O (shame on you Fquist!)
Anywayz, this level is very fun to play and defalcon have used the other layers very well to make a confusing effect (I know that it was your intention to do so, defalcon =) so if you haven’t downloaded this already, then do so NOW. =)
Indeed, as Disguise wants to explain in his description, he obviously tried something different this time. In my opinion it’s his luck that he wasn’t really able to do something completely different than what i sometimes call “south african style” (i guess thats only logical because this style is, imho, one of very few ways to make a good level at all).
Nevertheless, the design of “Swampy Showdown” is a bit less tight than in other Disguise creations. There are quite large structures (and empty spaces!) and the level somehow gives me the impression of being too large (well, it has at least 115*80 tiles). By the way, “Swampy Showdown” is definitely one of the levels where i have to admit that my overall impression is really (too much?!) influenced by the tileset (Agama’s “Swamp”, which looks completely breathtaking, so beautiful!!). But back to the layout: the weapon placement is okay (not a lot of them, though) and events are hard to find (which isn’t a bad thing as it is an important feature of Disguise’s very own style). The CTF route is quite long, probably too long to score a lot (but i don’t really wanna judge that, as i’m no CTF freak).
The layer arrangements are…sound, not spectular (as always, sorry :-).
As the background music, Disguise choose a ST3 module by an unknown finnish(!!) artist called “Jungle attack” (1997). No super hit and very slow but it still fits good in this jungle atmosphere.
My conclusion: sounds boring by the time, but this is yet another great level by Mister Disguise. Awesome tileset choice, playable as hell and perfect for battle games. His attempt to create a new own style pretty much failed and you know what? I’m even happy about that (7.5, mainly because of the cool composition…tileset, level and music :-).
