I don’t know, but from my POV none of what you just said makes sense, Fire Sword. You simply can’t put Laser Shield in a level as an event, and I don’t think this protects you against the other shields or anything.
“it was sorta chaotic because things like weapons and powerups were constantly unrespawnsive (wouldn’t come back!) so we had to stop the game constantly to get the powerups and weapons back so obviously the sheild was a problem.”
That is… shield unrelated at the best.
Whoa! This tileset is absolutely AWESOME!! The textures are fantastic and everything looks so great and cartooninc or whatever. ;P All the tiles for a hotel tileset are there including TVs (broken TVs as well), computers, beds, toilet stuff, kitchen stuff, doors and loads and loads and loads and loads of other hotel things. There isn’t much more to say really. Oh, and the background is quite nice too. :) This is without doubt the best tileset I’ve ever seen. Download NOW.
Cheerio!! :-P
Actually, it’s tons better than a true n00b set. So.. yes.
I can’t rate this level beacause I can’t play it !!!!!
The level :teamrace.j2l won’t appear on the screen in homed cooked levels and when i tried to enter amedivorace.j2l it kept saying that it couldn’t find the level or tileset for that level.
I would have liked to play this,IT’S THE BEST CONCEPT OF RACE LEVEL I HAVE EVER DREAMED OF!!!!!
erm… what do you mean with “laser”?
Computer get stuck when i was starting lvl :D I`ll review later…
censored now i can`t cheat anymore :p :p
Great Program dude…

Edit: How do you mean Ninja Not All the time? You mean you can still crash? Why!?

I always knew you had the rabbit within you Electric Ir :)
Very cool video, would have looked better if u had a green shirt on ;)
You are very brave, very brave for submitting that, I’ll keep that file to use against you in the future some time ;)
Coolness! Name the level! It has a cool design and the “parts” are cool.
What’s the “laser”? The laser shield?
Thanks everyone! great to hear all your good stuff, as I said it’s one of my first and I don’t like SP much so give me 10s if you want to expect more :P
the idea behind this is brilliant and this far exceeds any programme like lorifier or self destruct.
there seems to be something i forgot to mention.
NEVER, EVER, EVER have it running in the menu! ONLY RUN IT WHEN IN GAME! otherwise the level will give you a no start position error.
and also, please remember:
this program isn’t meant to make people think they can just go using the laser all the time. even I don’t use it all the time. it is cheap, annoying, and crashes anyone who doesnt use this. so don’t use the laser! this isn’t made to promote its use.
EDIT: aaaagggghhh! grammar error.
EDIT2: AAAGH! typo! spelled grammar wrong. =p

EDIT3: just added the following information.
by laser, i mean shield#4. it can easily be used in multiplayer. not saying how for obvious reasons. anyway,
glad to see that you people are liking the program. and super saiyan, it protects you about 98-99% of the time. it is rare, but you CAN crash when using it. expect another release with TSF compatibility very soon.[This review has been edited by Black Ninja]
EDIT4: i’ve seen the error that monolith reported. working on a way to prevent this. i will edit this review with an official anticrash website link, which will include news, and the latest version, if my server will allow it.[This review has been edited by Black Ninja]
Comments:
-This level is very easy for Jazz and Spaz.
-Good for beginners in JJ2.
-Not at all hard,I found it So easy to the point of boring.
-I don’t know if you intended to make only one level beacause it was a bit short.
Suggestions:
-It needs a bit more Originality.
-Make it a bit longer or make more levels of the sort is my last suggestion.
Cya!
Pros:
Very good use of the tileset.
Decent enemy placement, and good use of Stop Enemies.
The Nope, it is only one level.j2l is very original. I like it.
Cons:
One or two tile bugs.
No puzzles! :(
It’s a little too easy.
Could use with more eyecandy.
Indeed, “Snowy Mountains” is a good example of a typical battle level clearly above the average. It makes use of the very cool “Glacier” tileset by finnish tileset master Blade, it has a nice layout and some well-placed ammo. The attempts to create some nice eyecandy in the foreground is obvious and without any doubt, that was a good idea (some people may find some of the layer arrangements a bit confusing regarding the navigation, though). Apart from that, the violet(?) snow and the overdose of milk may irritate some people (esspecially if you don’t like sugar rushs). The music is good (“Mountain Breeze” by dutch tracker dude Jeroen Tel, which was also used in Tomb Rabbit and is unfortunately ***NOT iNCLUDED iN THE ZiP FiLE***!!!)…i would prefer the original tune used by Blade, though :-)
Otherwise, there’s nothing wrong and i didn’t find any serious bugs.
To make a long story short:
6.5 or 7 points? I don’t really know. Bonus points because it’s from a german fellow? Nah, not this time. However, “Snowy Mountains” (boooring name, btw!!!) is still a good thing to download, esspecially if you’re a fan of Blade and small, intense battle levels!
Yeah, i also really like the way EvilMike used Blade’s awesome “Forest” tileset. Not much to add to the other reviews here.
The level looks original somehow, has a good design (weapon placement etc.) and the layer work looks really nice i think.
Of course, the map is a tad small and the route from base to base is not really challenging but that doesn’t affect my good overall impression.
The background music tune is nice, but i would recommend the original song used by Blade here (that is part of my crazy “1-tileset-1-music“theory :).
In the end, i am very undecided between 7 and 7.5…but somehow, i like the idea of using this nice set so much that i decided for EvilMike this time (even if he didn’t use a single player start event to make reviewers life easier…accidentelly or intended, who knows :-).
P.S.:
I usually don’t comment other reviewers, but Buster, you really overrated here :-)
FiShY! is a funky new tileset creation by famous Mr. Disguise and it contains 630 scurfy tiles.
The colours (very “soft”) and the overall impression of this set is not too spectacular, but nevertheless, it’s definitely a solid download.
A lot of fish eyes will stare at you and there is a good selection of useful stuff you can use in your level (numbers blocks, signs, vines, poles and different backgrounds, for example).
As (nearly) always, Disguise included a small example CTF level in the package, mainly to demostrate the qualities of his set. Unfortunately, he didn’t set single player starting points which makes it a bit hard to test for us reviewers. The level itself looks a bit like it was made in a hurry: the design is okay (very open, fluently playable and so on) but the details are not so well-made (bad weapon placement, f.e.). The background layer(s) look quite nice, however (=eyecandy).
By the way: as a background music, Future Crew’s “Fishtro” tune would have been the ultimate choice here in my humble opinion :-)
Conclusion: yes, i recommend you to save a copy of this tileset on your PC. It’s really worth it and i’m sure a few talented levelmakers will try to make some nice maps with it. Esspecially if they…LiKE FiSHiES!!! :-P
First off al I don`t like Hotel Tileset`s. Because Hotel levels s*ck. Bad quality and stuff. This one hasn`t bad quality but this tileset is more a city then a hotel. And the music is not my favourite :) Anyway here a 7.5, you are lucky that the tileset has quality. Otherwise I would give it much lower![This review has been edited by Super Saiyan]

-To easy

-ENDEPIC no NOPE, IT IS ONLY ONE LEVEL
