Jazz Jackrabbit 2 Online

This level gets a high rating from me specifically for lotsa creativity. It’s a lot of fun to play (and lose in. :-P) online too. The only problem I can come up with is the fact that you can’t really host this level on a non-pwed server without telling everyone all of the rules. :-P

I remember playing this ages ago and loving it, I still do today. Its one of the few level packs with a great story and fun. Not to hard, but difficulty isn’t what was at mind.

Above all its in a category of its own for quality.

I must say, this level is significantly better than your other one. You used the tileset pretty well, however I do have some noticable problems…

As Mikey said, there are passages where you can see your character from around the passage. Fix this by simply putting layer 3 not only where all of the passage is, but also around the top, side, etc, so the level looks more profesional.

There is some tile cutting around the vines, though this is not a significant problem.

There are a few more problems, but I, stoopit iCeD, cannot think of them all.

Its a nice level, the music and fire drive me crazy though. The layout isnt bad, but its rather hard to navigate in spots.
Btw, I love the music, it fits so well.

First thing that hit me when I tested this level: It lacks eyecandy. I am really picky about things like this and I count eyecandy as a major part of my ratings. The design of this level is pretty good, although the gameplay could be improved a bit by adding some fastfires and a blaster powerup (just a sugestion). I find the bottom part of the level (with all the layer 3 carrots) is pretty empty.

Anyway, most of these levels are great, the background especially. Eyecandy, design, and music are all good in all of the levels. TIBASL is especially cool with all the trigger crates.

What made me give this pack an 8 is the fact that I kept on getting stuck in TIBASL and the background in Happy jungle is confusing at first.

Overall though this is a great ctf pack and if someone asked me to reccomend one, this whould be one of the first packs i would mention.

This level pack is so cool. It has my record for being played the most times by me :)

Exelent music choices for the levels and eyecandy (although I found the trigger scenery in the mez3 level at the end was a bit sloppy).

And that space ship level is the coolest thing I have seen.<br>
The reason why I lowered the rating is because I think it could be a bit longer, its kinda short for an interactive story, but this is still one of the coolest level packs I have played.

That is not a jj1 tileset!! I just used a few parts of one and drew the rest myslef.

I don’t think you should lower the rating because it’s CTF fod :P. Altough I think it’s my best level ever done.

And evilmike.. I know there are still a lot of bugs in it , but those will be fixed in some next version or something. :)

Pretty neat level with the jj1 tileset. Good use with layers, good design.

Good eyecandy, nice use of the horisontal one-way idea through trigger zones.. Good design overall.

The caterpillar irritates me. :-)

First off, im not a big fan of ambient lighting in party mode, and I hate the tileset, but thats not your fault so I lowered the rating only because of the ambient lighting.

I find the level has a good design, however I find with jazz its harder to get around the level. The eyecandy is good, and overall this is a pretty good level.

The level is sussposed to be bland. I wanted 3 layers only for its large enough that I’ll get many many people complaining about lag. Especially servers, I always hear the servers saying that they are getting 1 or 2 fps. I could have easily added eyecandy if I saw it fit, but here it would be distracting and cause unbearable amounts of lag.

This level has a very original concept. Having played it online, i can say it’s very challenging.

I let the eyecandy slip through my fingers because the last thing you have time for when running for your life is to view the gadgets. :)

hehe. I had to do that. easy levels are boring imo
