Jazz Jackrabbit 2 Online

This battle level excellent in my opinion. let me review it.

Gameplay:

Gameplay is very good here. navigating is hard sometimes, but when youll learn this level properly, its very easy.

Eyecandy: Sewers Area is kinda awesome. no tilebugs, and there’ lots of eyecandy. top area has eyecandy too, but not that much. i like the background layers too.

Layout: layout is ok. i don’t have any problems with it. ;b

Placement: Ok. tehres many weapons in this level, and they’re placed very well imo. i don’t have problems with the placement.

Overall: This is very good battle level. download is recommeded. ;)

after some time i decided to give this one a serious review. lets go.

Tile Quality:
Hmm? i think most of the tiles are drwan with mspaint.. and they look very dull. the best tile in this tileset is probably textured background, which doesnt even work. i think tile quality here is very poor. goodluck to your next tileset.

MASKING:
i don’t like masking. almost every tile has mask messages, which are cool when they’re done right. masking of the tiles is very bad in my opinion.. and i don’t like it at all. ;o

COLORS:
Most of the tiles use different shades of green / grey+black. tilesets should be colorful in my opinion.so they wouldn’t look so dull.

PALETTE:
The palette here is probably best aspect in this upload. jazz looks kinda cool, but i wouldn’t use this tileset, actually, to be honest, i don’t use TSF tilesets at all. ;x

OVERALL:
This set is ok, but there’s no way it can deserve anything above 3.5 ;P

i like this one a bit. song length is good, and sound effects fit. or something like that. i suck at writing big reviews to music files, so this review shall be short. ;o

i think this level is very crappy. there’s tons of eyecandy and gameplay bugs. i don’t think this level deserves anything above 2.5, because of the dullness and lack of good eyecandy and background layers. ;x
Gameplay is very bad too. there isn’t actually any gameplay. just some random events like loads of purple gems. no download reommedation sorry. i don’t like the tileset either. it just has some screenshots. erminds me of the first tileset of gizmaluke, to be honest. whatever, im going to rate this as 2.2 for the reasons i’ve mentioned. ;P

yo. this is a cool pack. the only thing i dont like is the graphics it almost looked liked lots of tiny bricks stacked ontop of each other. i would rate this higher if that was better. still a really cool lvl. keep makin cool lvls .Thyst. yo.This was a tricky but eventful lvl. the eyecandy was great. lots of bad guys to fight off(mostly bats). cool tileset. Lots of things to do reasonably hard to complete a good thing . overall this was a cool lvl. Thyst.

Well.. i think there’s enough tiles to create cool and fun level with this tileset. 50% version is good though, i think it would fit bit more to jazz style but then again its just my opinion. yeah, like you said the example level was bad, but its an example level, so i wont lower my rating because of that. i like the masking here too, and there’s enough animations. ok that was enough ;P
im gonna rate this as 7.5 for the reasons i’ve mentioned. :)

hey sab cool lvl.yr lvl is a resonably long lvl but it has lots things to keep u happy whilst playin it.eyecandy is good.lots of ammo was good but to much help. Background is really cool and u have to use lots of finally revealing stratergies to complete the lvl. Danyjel

This is one of the best hotels ihave played . Lots of cool things to do and u cant stop playin.Like saba said its ruxor hotel stuff. I could play it all day its coooooooooooooooooool. tThx too waddldee/ carrotpie who created this hotel. keep makin really cool stuff plz.

This hotel absolutely rules! This is the best hotel i have ever seen! I usually get bored after 10 mins, but this one, has basically extremly Ruxor hotel stuff, and isnt boring like. There is so much to do, Now that i got TSF, this lvl seems to be a benefit for TSF. Usually i would say hotels suxor, but this revolutionised the life of hotels. this one is fun unlike other hotels. better to host as battle or something, but this rules.
The eyecandy is quite normal in the background, nothing special in foreground, on the sprite layer it is above average tho. Hardly any bugs, (or none) and the level has things like the food factory, which is really coool, The sports are original, i dont think anyone has thought of Aquatic football. ;D The cinema is quite interesting, see jazz and peguins jumping… lol. Also the disco, has nice effects, and the hotel is quite simple to kno where to go round, which is really good. The rock climbing is really hard but also, can be fun. You can do loads of things here, ice skating, pinball, rollercoasters, gambling, racing, this hotel rules[This review has been edited by Sabaspaz]

MASKING: To be honest, masking just sucks. Few objects are masked awfully,
for example the small column and Dopefish. Also, the mask messages are looking like a job of n00b. Plus, vines are too thick to move on them.
Pros: Feweral.
Cons: Miserable.
Rating: 1.5

ANIMATION: There is NO any animation here, despite the ugly destruct blocks.
I cannot explain how it sucks ;\
Pros: N/A
Cons: NO animations.
Rating: 1.0

COLOR: This tileset has totally messed up palette. While Jazz works slightest,
everything other is rather light than
dark. Suckers are yellow, RF missiles are yellow also, as well Spaz and Lori.
It seems like author was concepted mostly on Jazz (biasing).
Tileset contains also textured BG -
which is not used in example level because it just looks awful.
Plus, Dopefish image has used pure black color (0,0,0) which Jazz uses as
invisible. Thus, Dopefish hasn’t anything black.
Pros: It’s not that bad.
Cons: WAAAAAY too many problems. Rating: 2

OVERALL : This tileset is helluva rushed job, with offers awful palette
edits, besides Jazz. I have no idea
how someone can use it, as it’s simply
unfinished. My tips are to read stuff at www.jazz2online.com/tilesets (I doubt you were there already)
