Well, it is probably only for Windows 98… And it only changes the name for the current session.
IF YOU COULD ONLY MAKE IT PERMANENT!
I WOULD BE SOOOO THANKFUL
Great! If you noticed, I used it in Operation Kick Shell…It’s interesting, a little hard to use but it’s nice!
fix this:
Better layout!
No Dead ends!
You can fall out at the end to the Right!
More ammo and better placement!
little more eyecandy!
Keep up the work!
Please fix this first:
1. More Ammo
2. Remove Dead ends…
3. You can fall into the last tile so you cant go up..
4. Mayby some extra eyecandy…
Somehow I can’t get this program to work right on my Windows XP computer. I tried clicking on “Set Name” but nothing happens. The text in the JJ2 window doesn’t change at all. I’m not going to rate it right now as the program doesn’t work correctly. Any help is appreciated.
I deleted a number of irrelevant reviews here. This is not a message board; the J2O downloads section is for reviewing and pertinent comments only.
nice, very nice! Compete with my level! Great level!
Dx, plz say something about my level to!
Since i don’t usually review musics, i decided to comment this one instead. =P
quite nice MIDI file in my opinion. one of the best ones available. i like the sounds of this MIDI alot. its bit to short though, but i guess that doesn’t matter because its a midi file and it can’t be used on jj2. oh well. the end,
Download recommedation.
I think this level deserves more than 6.2
Let me review.
EYECANDY:
Quite nice. not perfect though. background would be better, its rather dull in this level. ofterwise the eyecandy is fine, this level could have more eyecandy though, it looks quite boring. textured background is quite nice though.
GAMEPLAY:
Hmm, quite good. i don’t like it too much though. sometimes its kind of annyoing to navigate. gameplay here is kind of dull, i can live with it though..
PLACEMENT:
Its ok, i like the ammo placement here. there is probably too much powerups for a level sized like this IMO. well, i think its ok, and i can live with it.
OVERALL: Quite average level.. download recommedation if you like battle alot.
Small sized CTF level by Dx. here goes.
EYECANDY:
Best aspect in this level. i don’t like it though. reminds me of semi a bit, but eyecandy isn’t that good here though. i think some tiles were used incorrectly, like those circuit board tiles at layer 5. eyecandy looks messy here, and i don’t like it too much.
GAMEPLAY:
Not good. many sucker tube events here are very annyoing, and you should probably avoid suckers here. level is too small, and navigating is hrad + its hard to get on the bases.
PLACEMENT:
I don’t like about placement, i can live with it though.
OVERALL: Average CTF level.
I wont rate this because it´s just wierd.
not to be mean but did you just put out some tiles?
I dont recommend download unless you want a crazy/wierd level.
Hmm not a really SP level. I miss the layer 7 ( mayby 6 ) useally layers eyecandy. [This review has been edited by Ðx]

Ammo/Goodies/Others
Bad/good placed more i cant say… Mayby you can place some coins and a nice coin warp..
I dont know why everybody gives a 9..

Battle Fun: 2.5
I never wanted to stop play that level, but i must review it someday! Well, Great work done here! Everything where so perfect! And i found LOTSA secrets!!
Eyecandy: 2
Not much layer eyecandy, but i thought you used layer 3 and 4 eyecandy very well!
Final : 2.5 + 2.5 + 2.5 + 2 = 9.5
GREEEEEAT!! But not perfect! almost!
Download recommendation: YES, OFCOURSE!
Host often: i will say this: ANTAGLIGEN!!!
Note: “antagligen” is swedish and means “OFCOURSE”!
And “LOTSA” is “Lots of”!
believe me, when tiger lily sings, glass breaks.
gulps my fan made a bad lvl, that all you can do is kill baddies at the end
i dont see why you should write loads for such a crap lvl, why are there shields, lives, bugs ( very easy to spot too)!!!

Looks like Blacky uploaded the diamdust file I didn’t want the public to have. Hooray.
Wow. Just…wow.
Looking at this makes me think if I’m playing jj2 or Xargon. Most tiles are there, can’t really tell if all of them are since I havent played Xargon for a while. Plus they are placed in a way which makes the tileset fairly easy to use. Plenty of animations, and it even includes the food and the crystals (but not the creatures =P). You even took the time to put in sucker tubes, destruct blocks, invisible tiles etc, so that a decent level can be made with this (as demonstrated by FireSworD). The palette is nicely done, I have a few small complaints about the masking of a few things, but whatever. This definately makes me want to make a level with it. Great work, and a definite download reccomendation. An 8.7, for all the reasons mentioned above. Rating might be upgraded/downgraded after further use of the tileset.
Hmm…another crysilis remix. I like it, but its a bit overrated imo. I like the new sounds of it and all, and it sounds really good, but there isnt much that stands out in it. Plus, its in mid format, so JJ2 cant play it D=. It sounds decent, the instrument choice is good, but there isn’t much change to it.
Anyways, I suck at making long reviews for music, so my final rating is 8.2. There isnt really anything wrong with the music, but there isnt much that stands out in it that makes it different from the original crysilis.
Edit: Hmm..then it strangely sounds different from the one I was listening to. Oh well, maybe its my computer. I’ll leave this N/A for now. [This review has been edited by Blackraptor]
sweet job.
heh, this conversion is perfect IMO. i think i used to play Xargon like 6-7 years ago, so i can’t tell if all tiles are included, but i still think so. i don’t think this conversion misses any tiles, which is very good thing. there’s some nice extra stuff too, like the aweosme textured background, nice looking rain tiles, and some other stuff im too lazy to list. masking is very smooth too, and i like it. nothing wrong with the masking here. tile placement is good enough, and i think this tileset isn’t too hard to use. some animations can be hard to understand though. overall, this is very nice conversion by Spaztic. download is recommeded. im going to rate this as 8.5 for the reasons i’ve mentioned.
