When I first started this level, I found myself in a poorly done room with lots of text events that were hard to read. The grammar in them also needs work. For five minutes, I tried to figure out how the heck I start this level. Then I found out that there’s a warp to the right of the wind tunnel you’re spit out of when you go through a warp in the top left corner of the room you start in that you can only access by buttstomping. It’s not easy to do, either. After that, you’re taken to a foggy room that has all the powerups, a bunch of goodies (including a gem ring, which is bad), and even a light shield. They all respawn in 5 seconds.
Finally, you’re taken to the main fight room. It’s plastered with lots of shields, ammo, and things in layer 3. There are also lots of text events. I found myself putting on low detail because the eyecandy was so dense, I could barely see myself. The eyecandy isn’t all that bad, but it’ s too darn crowded.
There are so many shields in the level, I never found myself without a shield while playing this level. The level’s pretty Spaz biased, and very difficult to get around in. One good thing is that the level is big, but big isn’t always good. The layout is too poor to be able to say that this level’s size is a good thing.
I’m going to make an attempt to review ten things. I have about 490 reviews and 500 is a sxier number than 400.
My rating for this is 3.5 and no download reccomendation. Next time use an easier tileset. 7th Lava Fall is unreasonably difficult to use, and when it’s not in the hands of an expert (cough BlurredD), it probably won’t look all that good.
I always suggest to JCS beginners to use tilesets like Diamondus, Carrotus, or Castle. Tilesets that are easy to use and still look nice, basically.
Oh, and please ignore any spelling errors in my review. ;(
Yet another person who uploads something that they purposefully made bad just for a joke.
No level will ever beat Zappo’s Egypt and Voldard’s Cool Treasure Jungle.
I dont like this pack in particular, i have to say prefer the lost world… her goes:
Eyecandy: Well, it is like the original hocus pocus, which is good i suppose, and the way the style of tiles in the lvl change after 1 or 2, which makes the lvls more interesting. the tilesets arent too fantastic but they are quite nice i have to say, no glaring bugs and nice eyecandy. 9.5/10
Gameplay: on hocus pocus, the wizard jumps crapply, as so the suckertubes make it a bit like that, this makes the effect better (+1). also it is fun apart from the really annoying combinations, though i think that is copied from hocus pocus (-1). The lvls are good, not exactly too fun to play in, but they are good… =D 9/10
Pickups: good there are loads of gems to collect, which can be fun, but no food or ammo, you could have made it a bit more fun in that way… D’=. But that is how the game is so i have nothing to say. also there are far too many carrots, you should get rid a few of them… ;P 9/10
Music: good, there are different musics for the different lvl styles, which is impressive i have to say, but the musics arent that different, just a bit, i dont mind the music it is average……….. 9/10
Overall: 9.5/10[This review has been edited by sabaspaz]
WOW………………………………..not! censored is this! it sucks, why would i need the ice powerup…. not bothered to review, too bad to be reviewed
hmmmm this is better than my first lvl. oh well here goes review:
Eyecandy: it can be a bit confusing, though it isnt that good. all i remember is layers 8,5,4,3 were being used. i dont see many (if not any) glaring bugs (unlike some lvls). Isnt good or bad. the eyecandy of these lvls are all average or maybe a bit above.
Gameplay: good for first lvls, though there are dead ends… oh well, also they are far too small. they can be fun but only for a little while…=P also it can be ok to make a battle pack, but there shouldnt be too many small lvls…
Pickups: Placed a bit nicely, only few comments are:
1) They are a bit close by
2) there isnt much of a point of freezers or TNTs in a battle
3) to much together or too little in a lvl at times.
Others: the tilesets were not included, and neither was the music, luckily i had them so that i could try them.
Overall: okay, for a start, try other lvls like ‘Jagged Ectoplasm’ and try to make a lvl like them.
In the beginning, there is this… Strange.. Stuff. In the background, the speed is all wacky but the tunes are quite good. I couldn’t hear the Piano thing on my comp. You can still recall the original Castle music in it, and I also hear one instrument that the original has too. Good work, Delvour!(Who said that that was a Nice Theory?) But you can always do better!

Jazz Jackrabbit Music Theme. The best game music I’ve ever heard. Ready to another biased review?
So. This is theme music mixed with some basslines and samples (like monk voice) from Medivo. Tempo is original, Rhythm too.
The main thing I like on this piece is total harmony. Harmony with Medivo and Menusong, which gives new music, new melody. That’s great.
Now those worse. Sample quality is just bad, original rhythm does not fit into this.
(+) New nostalgic melody
(+) Great transition
(-) Sample quality
(-) Rhythm
Download it anyway. Especially if you like menusong.
Using my own 1337ness, I can predict that Green Plant’s rating will be removed.
Which I think is unfair. Everyone is entitled to an opinion.
Specifically, they are entitled to the administrators’ opinion.
I can tell you its beatable, and when I teted it myself it woked perfectly fine! tha trick is that you must not go too fast at the hellraisers, so you get pushed up, but dont get pused in the springs. the floats will float you above the hellraisers. I dont know what went wrong with the timewarp then, its supposed to give you a few laps advantege or something, have you READ the readme? it states that you shall not go too fast at the hellraisers, to overcome them, go slower. it is hard but beatable, all my preveous unreleased levels were too easy and theis ones too hard? leole liked the thoughness of the level he said.
thats all d*mned
Well, both Danyjel and Spazgax, I use Steinberg Cubasis VST (4.0). And Danyjel, this it’s awfull, you think that I didn’t created the MIDI!!?? That hurts ;), I can honestly tell you that it was I who created the MIDI!
this map owns. lets all host this. and practice here. ;D
it beats SUK AnReA by far. >DD
Yes. It’s a good thing to please people to make them upload your very own level. Nothing better than it.
‘Spastic Society’ uses one of Pokemon tilesets which went uploaded with this pack. Tileset use is very, very bad. Layer 8 constains pure bricky BG, layer 7 flipped STOP signs, layer 6 has falling Voltrobs which makes my eyes hurts (Not because they shoot thunders or something.) On foreground, you can glance at poorly made ‘*censored*y Mo’ sign made of inferior Voltrobs’ versions (I don’t meme their name). Awful. Are you female or something?
Pros : It HAS background.
Cons : It HAS awful stuff.
Actually, there’s no gameplay here. No flow, no anything… only narrow room. Perfectly BAD.
Pros : Walls.
Cons : Too less of walls.
As you might know, Frostbiter and TNT are worst MP weapons. Author seems to didn’t know about it. Level is filled with freezer ammo and TNT, regenerating in something about 3 seconds or something. And some Freezer PUs.
Pros : Ammo.
Cons : WRONG ammo.
In overall, I wanted to say, that 1st April already was, TICK.[This review has been edited by Cooba]
Well, i think this was made with ‘modplug tracker’.
Let me review it.
1: Instruments:
Good, there are variably tunes and
that piano sound is not really a big problem, here’s a fat 7.0!
2: Creation:
Good greated, it’s a good and i think… BETTER remake of the JJ@
MOD version, i was allmost going
to dance with it. (7.5)
3: big/small
Not really long for a midi, but
that’s not the point, you
can repeat it more times for fun.
It’s long annough to like it! (7.5)
4: The rating:
I like it and i hope the other downloaders too. The only point
is that it is a MIDI, if it
was a MOD, you can play it
in your JJ2 levels.
But it’s good to play under
your level creation.
Download: Yes
The rating: 7.0!!
Ewwo thanatos,
First of all, you start in wall by first host. 10-1 = 9
2nde of all, no eyecandy 9-3 = 6
I cant say much about this level, it is small 6-2 = 4
But i think its cool to play with 5 ppl, + 0.2 = 4.2
Ewwo Sonic :D
The level is big.
But, there are much places withoput any eyecandy or weapons.
Then you can better make a small level with great eyecandy and good weapon placement.
The eyecandy is not enough i think, some stars and thats its, not to much, isnt it?
But what i rly dont like is the places where isnt somethings, plz delete them next time!
But i think the level is funny to play with 10~15 ppl, but they dont come i think, and if they come, its just “COOL”
You get a 7.2 nj!
PS : Cool seeker powerup :D

Ewwo, my first review :D
This level has good eyecandy.
But it isnt big at all, isnt it small?
It is.
And i think a battle level MUST be bigger then 150 × 80.
But i think it isnt easy to make a big level + good eyecandy.
The level looks good at first sight, and by the 2nde sight its good too.
A 7 for you!
The funny thing is that all four of them suck at making levels. Must run in the family.
