verry NIce TilESEt All is Verry cooool
i like the Backround A BIG 8.5 From me
Woopy-dah-wackwack! I mean, another tileset of Skulg.
This time it is a d*mntileset, with bones, blood, pie and stuff.
The eyecandy is very great, but hard. The lava is ripped, okay, the fire too, but everyone rips the fire. It’s one of the most ripped tiles ever. Rip the lava and I’ll eat you. eats skulg
@Moonblaze: Why the heck do you want to use snow or water in a hell tileset?!
I think the userfriendly is a bit bad, just hard to use.But that’s not bad, tilesets like Psych are hard to use too.
But overall, a nice tileset by Skulghead.
Ladies and gentlemen, download this or i’ll eat yah. eats yah
EDIT: What the..? censored :P

I don’t see this tileset as the greatest by Skulg ever. The prevous version was much better.
The lava fall is crappy animated, it dosent look too good. The extra eyecandy dosen’t fit well together, that disappointed me. The lava in buttom, the fire, and the hotstuff is ripped off. The ground looks excellent, high quality and well drawn. I also like the “eye candy stuff” and tubes very much.[This review has been edited by Moonblaze]
This is Cool but small
:)
Well, i aint the master or ratings or anything but on my opinion it deserves a high mark. I love the firey stuff and i dont really mind the ripped tiles becasue they look good combined with other tiles. It has most of the needed parts(destruct &buttstomp tiles, V-poles etc.) and extra eyecandy. There isnt as much of a variety of colors, but I dont mind that. The tileset itself can be very useful if you want to make a d*mn tileset but are sick of the original one. Overall this deserves an 8.3 but i gave it an 8. ;)
Download reccomendation
Well, this is an interresting mix between SP, puzzles and tests. The episode COULD be really good, has some nice stuff. What’s missing is eyecandy, and there’s quite a lot bad things:
-In the first level, some unmasked tiles have been used as walls.-The coin-warp in level 2 has no target.
-Level 4 made my Computer crash with an error I’ve never had before.
-There is a fight against 3 bilsy bosses, with a GENERATING fire shield in the room. Now what’s hard about that?
I personally think a 6.5 is being generous…
I believe the author’s description runs something like this.
Afterhis many failures Devan, has decided to abide with the peace. He selected
the most beautiful valley in some area to live in, drove out the inhabitants and made himself (and his minions) feel at home.
Jazz and Spaz (Lori lies with flu in bed) have gotten wind of it and went to foil Devan’s plans (of peace??), Devan has skills.
Will evil win this time? You can find out with Jazz2. (if the download worked)
.zip contains Das valley, alternatively playable in both German and English!
As quoted from FQuist
they upload a nonzip file with a zip extension
Basicly, the problem is that they arent uploading it right.

I thought this was over?
Something about beta tests and German???
Please write in english, it’ll save everyone a lot of time.
“English translation is in progressing” isn’t good enough… plz speak english ONLY!
Taz, please read the readme more carefully. You are able to close the server room by shooting the entrance after going into it. It’s very simple.
It’s just a great idea, but it’s a bit too lazy maked.
I think the server room is too easy to find, so you will have all the time irritating rookies there.
It are just nice little battle rooms, but each of them is the same. sleeps
And yesh, the eyecnady is very nice, so very nice idea with very nice levels and a very nice eyecandy.
So i give a very nice eight.
BUH!
I like it but everything is already said…
but I hate making empty reviews, so I just write some crap.[This review has been edited by Snowball]
The link appears to be broken no longer.
What, you want a storyline?
What ever you want, besides a compleatly diffrent level, I will re upload it with it.
I’ve seen this in it’s early stages (accidentally) and it’s not my favorite level. The level is well-made, but there isn’t really a point to gameplay. I won’t rate it until I can play the level in more depth. Really one of the downfalls is that the system can bug occationally, and I can’t tell who won. However, it’s still a good gametype that I hope to see more of in the future.
EDIT: I should have clarified that it’s hard to tell who won sometimes. It’s a good level, but the gameplay isn’t my favorite.
EDIT 2: Gameplay as in the game type, not how the level plays.[This review has been edited by Trafton AT]
Paint world is good elementary tileset.
Unhit, the lvl isn’t symmetrical at all. And if you think 50 coins is too much, then I shall let you know that it was originally 100.
Ok, back to the review.
Lost City is a lvl I beta-tested. I have never, ever given a lvl I beta-tested a bad rating and I won’t this time either.
The lvl has got good eyecandy, though more wouldn’t have hurt and there are also too little foreground eyecandy. I do like the red moon, which only appears when you go to the top of the lvl. The stars, skyscrapers and the lava are also very nice and contributes greatly to the mood.
The gameplay is all right. Nothing special. Just lots of suckertubes, a couple of springs and some float-ups at places where ppl would normally hit walls. Btw, Moonblaze, you missed one out. ;-) Pos 42, 25. Basically, Lost City is an up-and-down lvl because if you fall down, you simply go up again, being carried by either springs or suckertubes.
Weapons placement is quite nice. There are plenty of ammo, coins and fastfires around and you will never run out of anything. However, I would prefer bouncers instead of electroblasters because it will be very hard to find a use for electroblasters here since the walls are so thin and it’s such an open lvl.
There is nothing wrong with the gameplay, weapons placement or eyecandy. It’s just the lvls idea. I’ve seen countless amounts of lvls that has got the same kind of layout.
Still, Lost City should provide most of us with lots of mulitplayer fun. An 7.7. Download recommended.
Cheers,
White Rabbit.
