bla bla poll

9 Jun 2006 at 20:39

After nearly eight years, which tileset do you hate the most?

Castle – 17 Votes (12%)

Carrotus – 10 Votes (7%)

Labrat – 17 Votes (12%)

Colonius – 7 Votes (5%)

Psych – 11 Votes (8%)

Beach/Dock – 18 Votes (13%)

Diamondus – 13 Votes (9%)

Tubelectric – 4 Votes (3%)

Medivo – 5 Votes (4%)

Jungle – 15 Votes (11%)

Inferno/Hell/Heck – 12 Votes (9%)

Dam Nation – 2 Votes (1%)

Deanset – 9 Votes (6%)

Total votes: 140

Interesting dispersion. Maybe people will take this as a hint not to use some of those tilesets. Looks like Dam Nation’s fairly popular at the moment, though… good job, Disney!

This new poll tests the moral and ethical strength of the community as a whole. Make me proud. (Edit: No, I didn’t really expect you to.)

Yes, fortunately. I didn’t know it was illegal when it was sent to me, though.

DoubleGJ on 9 Jun 2006 at 21:12

I never was and still not am interested in obtaining it. But I’d play it if someone else from my friends had it…

n00b on 9 Jun 2006 at 21:26

I did purposely seek it out, and it was an extremely fun illegal beta.

So fun, I don’t feel guilty.

While this is hardly justification, for the period I had it, I was attempting to disect the Jazz 3D prototype in the fashion of [a certain other website]‘s section for prototypes and prototype information. But like I said, that’s hardly justification. Regardless, it was a freaking blast.

Never had it, and I don’t think I’ll need it…

CrimiClown on 10 Jun 2006 at 09:40

I obtained it, played it once and got bored of it. I removed the install file.

So, at the moment: No, fortunately.

n00b on 10 Jun 2006 at 13:57

You all know you loved it and have it on your harddrive, stop lieing.

Saying “Fourtantly I dont have JJ3”, or “Unfourtantly I do”(IN WHICH CASE- UNINSTALL IT, WHY KEEP IT??) is like saying “I don’t masturbate, and never have”

Violet CLM on 10 Jun 2006 at 17:15

oh, never mind.

Sonyk on 10 Jun 2006 at 18:23

I have it, and once you tweak it into working online, it’s a blast.

Of course, there’s so little to do, since I suck at making maps, but it’s still fun.

Sacrush on 10 Jun 2006 at 19:52

Yes I have.

n00b on 11 Jun 2006 at 00:37

I love how this poll’s outcome proves that in some people’s eyes, the majority of us have no morals whatsoever

Enigma on 11 Jun 2006 at 09:35

Come to think of it, what would be the moral implications of voting “Huh?”

n00b on 11 Jun 2006 at 14:56

It’s only been two days, and we already have a third of the JJ2’s voting population. How long should these polls run?

Violet CLM on 11 Jun 2006 at 20:05

“Huh?” basically means you don’t know what the poll is asking about, meaning I guess that you don’t take the time to learn about the community you’re in… hmmm.

Odin314 on 25 Jun 2006 at 03:34

Yes, of course. I don’t feel bad for owning a copy of an abandoned game. Epic will probably never use one line of code, one face of the models, and one pixel of the textures in any future Jazz Jackrabbit projects. Besides, they have never sold the game for any money. Therefore, I am not really stealing from them in any way.

Hey, the beach tileset is great! I don’t like the jungle tileset.
