Happy New Year! Time for a new award!
December’s Featured Download
LMAT strikes again. I don’t know HOW they do it, or why they take over a year, but at least we’re getting some great stuff to work with. This time, we get ourselves into some funky painting class with this new tileset. A very advanced tileset that makes you colour up a black-and-white castle setting. Aside from a little dirt and grass, most of the tileset has to be built in several layers at the same time, as the example level demonstrates. This baby needs a lot of skill to work with, and will definitely take you some time, but the possibilities are nearly endless!… well until you run out of colours.

Similar to how Haze’s Hideout is more daily than The Daily Carrot, how Skype is more live than Windows Live, and, of course, how we’re more epic than Epic Games.

Though this idea is really genious for tileset making and it’s first time someone thought this out, i still think dodges japanese tileset deserves it more. (Simply for being the first japanese set too :D). This one was good, especially the concept.. But dodges tileset has been worked out better. This is a nice idea, second thing is if it actually works. (building a level with). Because it’s possibilities feel rather limited then endless to me. (Maybe just because you need so many layerwork per tile).
Still, nice =D.

Dodges’ set is the first upload of 2010, and thus was not part of December. Likewise Pyramid 3D was unfortunately just outside the window (Nov. 30), although there were some good CTF levels in December.

my bad, crimi :(. i thought completely dumb counting dodges set to december.. while yeah, I pretty much knew he uploaded it 1st of January this year ;-;. excuses, once again.
