Download recommendation: YES!
I would find this level pack a LOT more fun if whenever I pushed the wrong button jj2 didnât crash.
Why Got This an 8?
The First Level is much to hard and the using of Platforms and spike bolls is really too often. Here is why because you cant have more enemies in your level: You have too much 3d-spike bolls! They are filling your RAM (Random Access Memory) completely up!
This isn`t soo good than you think.
(o no this is to hard i cant beat it i giv it a 4!!!!!!!!!!! Unsupported rating removal edit. Please provide more detail in your reviews. ~Violet)[This review has been edited by Violet CLM]
SuperJazz: There actually arenât that many enemies. The errors are due to the huge amount of animations and triggers in the level. As for the boss being really hard, well thatâs kind of the point. And yes, both the level and boss are possible, as Iâve completed both many times. And to my knowledge, Devan never actually stays out of the arena. He goes back in, donât worry.
This ainât again a level which would be some possible to rate for me as I didnât play it through properly. But let me review this some without rating as I wouldnât be sure how to rate this. So I say some things straightly nowâŠ
It seemed that devan has some kind of secret weapon? Howâs this all begun? There arenât any readme or story about the idea.
Itâs always easier to make a level from a JJ1-tileset. So itâs simple anyways. There is some flying objects at the main background and it looks quite good. But millions of bolls and some other weird stuff make the eyecandy confusing. At least you linked tiles well.
Whatâs done with the originality, itâs like a jj1-level in jj2. So itâs your made level in jj1. You know.. I donât mean you steal anything..Just ok.
Gameplay is rather average as the difficulty of this is quite big. There seemed to be no save-points or a few but itâs so darn hard because the flocks of spike-bolls. Thereâs no difficulty settings. One thing which sucks even more is that there is no hope to save in the first level because the amount of enemies. Did you put an enemy block into somewhere where is 100 lizards or something? There didnât seem to be quite much of them into the point till I played. I got too bored into the level as I didnât any time complete the level. I didnât get further than the trap-doors and then I skipped.
Thereâs quite less of ammo, no food and no gems. and theyâre placed averagely. Music doesnât fit the level very much but I think it wouldnât also be a horrible idea.
At the 2nd level where you meet Devan..The boss action doesnât work very well..Thereâs tree tufmans behind the wall and the arena is so small that Devan runs out from the arena itself. Now I really wonder did you even tested and completed these levels before you uploaded them..I wonderâŠ
This wouldnât probably get very high rating from me but itâs a riddle by this stage..

Wow, cool level pack! It really overdoes my expections. Here is my review (Lam Canadian, you reviewed my stuff, so I will do the same with your stuff now :-) )

LVL DESIGN, EYECANDY ANDâŠSTUFF
The lvl design was very original, the concept is to find crates or computers which open doors. This is well done, but alltough very hard. It took me very long after I finished the level and there are no savepoints so I had to save frequently. But donât get mad, savepoints would be impossible because of all the trigger stuff.
Eyecandy is not my cup of tea. I donât really care for the rackets in the background (hehe :-p) and the open places looked a bit empty. In the closed areas could have been some more layer 3 stuff.
Sadly I stuck on level 2, the boss is too hard to beat.
GAMEPLAY
The gameplay is really hard, and I bet most of the level with only one heart (and saving all 5 seconds). It all seems to work, but sometimes you donât know where the door is which you just opened. Also in level 2, the boss is justâŠ.I canât beat it, itâs too hard. You are in a small room, a door closes behind you and Devan appears. Fighting him is hard enough because he can jump through walls and you canât. Also from the right side Tufâs are attacking you and you probably will die so many times that you get frustrated and quit (like me).
AMMO AND OTHER WEAPONS STUFF
Ammo placement was very good. There is not too much and not too less. There could be some secrets, tough.
BADDIES
The baddies fit well into the place and are strategically good placed. Sadly the boss placement in level 2 is bad (because itâs so hard).
HURT EVENTS AND OTHER OBSTACLES
This pack has got a lot of obstacles, there are very much doors which you have to open, spikes, moving platforms, spike balls, etc. Sadly the swinging vines donât fit into the place.
TILESETS
The tileset which was used is the megairbase conversion from JJ1. I like this tileset. :-)
USE OF TILESETS
Tileset use was ok, no tilebugs but could have more in the background (I played the example level of the tileset and saw much bigger spaceships in the background).
CONCLUSION
Overall this is a very cool level pack, but only reccomended for good jazzers, others may get frustrated fast.
DOWNLOAD: Yes, if you are experienced Jazzer
LEVEL RANK: Above average
HOST: It isnât reccomended to host this, because of all the trigger stuff it may not work correctly.
FINAL RATING: 8.0

And now, my interpretationâŠ
Prison Sewer CTF
GAMEPLAY: Mostly balanced but a dull layout and a bit too Spaz-biased.
EYE CANDY: Basic but a little annoying.
CARROT PLACEMENT: Full energy carrot placed well. +1 carrots are questionable.
AMMO PLACEMENT: Can work, but could be better.
HOST THIS OFTEN? Maybe once (with the music off).
Genocide City
GAMEPLAY: Same as above, except with blocks instead of hooks near the carrot. Somewhat better this way.
EYE CANDY: Better eye candy than previous, although itâs more confusing/annoying and misuses some tiles.
CARROT PLACEMENT: Same as above.
AMMO PLACEMENT: Same as above.
HOST THIS OFTEN? Maybe twice.
Overall review: These two levels arenât bad, aside from erroneous/dull eye candy and a questionable layout. What I disliked the most was the eye candy in the foreground, which isnât really needed and just gets in the way. I might like the carrots more if they didnât have to be accessed through such a narrow opening, but this arrangement does have its strategic points. Similar applies to base placement; I just donât recommend using one-tile passageways too often. There also isnât too much to these levels. I could imagine how long they took to make. And I probably wouldnât want to play in this level as Jazz, although I canât really speak for players who use Jazz. Another thing: the start positions need work. Using well-placed âMultiplayer Level Startâ events for each team would be a good idea. As for my rating, this is about a 7. Iâm feeling nice today.
PS: Does anyone else find the Prison Sewer CTF music incredibly annoying? The music literally hurt my ears.
The PRISON
the level is kinda boring but the ammo placed is very good. mayby its to small but eh ok.
its spazzzzzzzzz based and that sucks.
i think carrots ar to easy to catch,
because ther in a cage ( or whatever ).
the music choosen is nice
tileset to ( for a prison ).
the eyecandy is quit boring. ther ar pillars at the fourground
but the background is only a wall with some windows!
rating: 7.2
7Th lava fall level
Its just the same level only with BETTER eyecandy
and its more fun. some towers and
other stuff and the background.
this level is ALSO based on spazz because its just the same level
as that prison, but ther is more fun.
take a look at the layer 5, thats good
also the fourground. only some bugs
i found.
1- The tuve is just ONE stuck no end
2-on the other side you CANT get up because a strange block or like thst
3-just like 1 only at the other side.
more i didât found :)!
Rating:7.666666666666666 >>>>> 7.7
overall: good
download: yes sure
host: mayby only the 7th lava fall level.

Yay i am a l33t Reviewer review! [This review has been edited by dx dc]
Well, well, âUltimate Warzoneâ (hmmm, if i remember right there was a pretty cool level with the same name years agoâŠby Distruct of J2LC i think, well, seems like itâs a boring name many people think of, eh?) is a quite average battle level using Overlordâs âPlastic 2â tileset. It is eventually a tad too large regarding the width (210*30 tiles).
The layout is okay, but somehow not really exciting. There are a lot of annoying dead ends and warps that warp you back to the level start at the very left. The weapon placement could have been improved as well: a whole lot of powerups, which are all very easy to get (and that âsecret roomâ isnât really secret, if you ask me).
Furthermore, i think there is a major lack of eyecandy in âUltimate Warzoneâ. A few background layers are used, but not much in the foreground. And on a side note, i donât like the look of the tileset too much. Quite boring.
The very guitar orientated âBossâ music doesnât really fit here as well, i think.
To sum it up, âUltimate Warzoneâ isnât my favourite download of the week. Thereâs just something cool missing. No download recommendation from me, sorry (slightly below the average=4.5).
Another school by I am Canadian. Like i dont have enough homework. To little guns though, maybe theyâve been banned from the school. =P
Oh thereâs ammoâŠyou just have to look for it in secrets⊠>=P
Avmasing level, but we need more guns for this small level. I canÂŽt waiting for âsawâ
edit= âIan I KNOW they ARE guns. IÂŽm talking about TNT, freeze and more! And have some more powerupsâ[This review has been edited by Bjarni]
School Wars is an interesting level by Mr. Iam Canadian that is mainly focused upon a medium-sized school (nothing like the behemouth schools in MidNâs levels, though.) using School v2, an older version than the Tip-winning School v3 (10.0/10.0). This level is interesting, and I would say worthy of a download recommendation if you like school levels.
âSchool Warsâ, using SchoolV2 by MidN, has the school in the middle, and playground areas on either side. The playground areas are fairly flat.
The school itself is mainly a flat area with a room above it, except there are some warps to other rooms. The whole thing is rather boring and the ammo is incredibly sparse.
Work a little more on the wars and a bit less on the school, I should say.
(Unsupported rating removal edit. I think. ~Violet)[This review has been edited by Violet CLM]
I am Canadian does host a lot.
Well, I have played these, and assuming that they are the ones you have hosted, than I can give a safe rating. They arenât great in eyecandy or anything, but theyâre fun. Download but only play if Iam Canadian hosts. ;p
Actually, I like this level in many ways. It makes for a very nice Instagib, in fact. The level is a tad small and shows disregard for anything other than powerups, however. Itâs a good level, but you should remove some of the powerups and replace them with 3x ammo or ammo crates.
And so, Iam Canadian has uploaded his first level to J2O. But is it good, or is it crap? Lets see.
I have played this level online, and it is pretty fun. The disapearing blocks and the chatroom are a bad idea IMO, and the âCanada Rulezâ thing only deducts from the ratingâŠ(j/k)..
So, in conclusion, umm, I will tell you part of a chat I had earlier with Trafton.
âKJAZZ: iam canadian submitted a lvl
KJAZZ: Ultimate Warzone
Trafton: The verdict?
KJAZZ: now, in my past experiences
KJAZZ: anything with âultimateâ in its name (cept for JMMB) is usually inferior
Trafton: lolâ
