+ to the eye candy: i think this is something that did gone well
there are some secret warps here you can warp into the second area
- to the foreground layer, and background layer = it moves to fast
- if you gonna miss weapons

Hello, Aritra ! Now watch the mistakes and other things and please fix them!

EYECANDY

The eyecandy don’t suck but , isn’t very good .. And good choice for the tileset ! It’s my favourite and very nice. Please next time try to work more time on eyecandy. ( 2.3 )
GAMEPLAY

Gameplay didn’t look so bad but you did some mistakes …
The oneway and vine are NOT FOR NO FIRE levels ! And you miss some parts . I’ve seen some clean zones (i mean no fire) and WATER BLOCK ARE YOU INSANE ?! Please repair these mistakes and re-upload ! Now the real gameplay , is playable but not VERY RECOMMENDED! ( 1.9 )

AMMO PLACES AND OTHER

Also the ammo isn’t for these levels but i didn’t seen any food stuff ! What’s so hard to put food and some electro (automatic no player shoot) and sucker tube . I dislike the way you’ve put only one jazz start. ( 0.0 )

OVERALL

This map sucks.. Try to spend more time in JCS !

And my rating is : 4.2 – Not recommended

Pls tell me next this is TSF only level THX!
I hate when I stuck in the wall .
Oneway or vine or any other events like these should not used on nofirelevels
I can fire some places on the level… this is not good for any nofire levels :(
The eyecandy is not bad :), but it can be better
I think it’ll never hosted in any server…
If you remove vines and oneways I’ll rate the level

Well , aritra looks like you did practiced more more and more
and you finally made a great battle level . I’ve seen your way from
your little levels to this medium one so i’ll give a good rating
but first i’ll write the full review with each thing :

1. Gameplay – This battle level is good and also it should be hosted for fun duels or kinda of this .

2. Eyecandy – There’s no problem ! The eyecandy it’s very good and which means that all layers were used and if you’ll play this in 16 bit it will l look great.

3. Bugs – Besides , there’s no bug founded .

4. Story – N/A (there’s battle level not single-player level)

Final Rating : 7.5
Recommended : Absolutly ! Yes

EDIT : This is battle not ctf level .

the new version is really mutch better!
ya i give this a 7.0
the Music does fit
and the lvl is quite and nice to play in battle
i really do like the level its great to play
so good job Aritra :))
but some things you should fix:
.
- fix the background a bit , the castle is to much down.. make a bit more up
.
- and.. add Coins! (they missing!!)

to play it with this music make it better, that it looks like on a preview.
(the music is from jazz3D, this really fits to this water theme)

i think u should take a other tileset, or edit that tileset…
or make some places with more lights..
i mean it have become to dark..
of course dark levels can be great!!, but
i think this is not pretty good, you should take a other tileset for it.

Eyecandy

Well, I like the waterfalls in the top left corner of this level.
Too bad it has tilebugs at the top of the pillars on which the rocky thing is standing. Below it is also a tilebug in the grass. There are more tilebugs, especially at borders of the platforms. Try to spend more attention to that before uploading your level. The layer 8 background and the falling leaves look nice, but you’ll need more of that. Make some more background eyecandy in the other background layers and maybe some forground tiles which overlap a small part of the layer 4.

Gameplay

First of all, try to fix the spawning problem, players can spawn near their opposing team’s base. In JCS at the multiplayer spawn point event you can enter a team number, 0 or 1. Both are different teams. Also try to never have dead ends, always make a path lead somewhere. Try to find the right balance of tiles and empty space in your levels. In the middle of this level there is just too much empty space, which gives not very attractive gameplay. Try to make the bases a bit harder to reach if they are close to eachther. By the way, if you don’t want your level to have the CTF bug, which is taken care of by JJ2+, make a 3 tile thick layer at all borders of your level. Now this level is only CTF bug free in JJ2+. By the way, try to spread ammo more evenly over your level, also non PU ammo.

Originality

Well this level certainly has a nice shape, I bet if you continue to make progress with making levels, you’ll be able to make some very nice original work. And you’ll have many years to improve because you’re still young.
So my advice: Never give up, practise makes perfect!

way better than the first level, but this could be improved a lot….
EDIT
I)Layers: No layer 2,5,7 usage, and on layer 3 is rain(wich falls bad), on layer 1 is 1 forground eyecandy plant(wich is unseeable).
layer 8 is good.
layer 4 is not bad.
II) Events:
1) The no fire zone don’t works.
2) Here that player wins, who gets first to the fire shield.(what is on the road)
3) too much powerups,and fastfires(whoose have generator).
4)The water block event works bad.
5)The lighning works alright.
III) Layout
Not bad, but could be improved a lot.
1) At the down side of the level, you can fall out from the level.(from where you can escape in multiplayer, just if you are killed).
2) Because of ammo, and other things, the flow of the level is somtimes bad.
IV)Music: At me don’t works.I heard it from my jazz directory.
V) Eyecandy. Because of no layer 2,5,7
usage, every eyecandy is on layer 4, the rain from layer 3(works bad), and the background layer(8), and the lightning from the layer 6.

(2,7+1,6+4+1,5+7)/5=3,36—->3,4=3.4

Edit 2
The forground layers are working the same as the background layers, just they are in forground.They have more speed than the normal sprite layer, because if you see a thing closer, it moves faster, and it’s bigger. With the layer 5 rain… have youchecked tile hight and width?

Edit 3: Now it’s bmuchbetter. I raise my rating to 4.9
