I don’t know what to say about the level since I’m not a level reviewer.: P
But anyway, nice level, probably another one of the good battle levels that you don’t see much around. I also like the placement of the powerups. And the way you’ve used the tileset is well done, too. Seems to fit well with the dark, quite atmosphere.
I don’t know about the choice of the music because I really can’t hear it because my soundcard is still dead.=P
But anyway, good job. To me, this deserves a 8.2. It’s still a good level.=)
Nice level there, I really like the ambient lighting, and the placement of weapons. The way you did the part where you enter the bonus is also really nice-with the ambient lighting and all, adds a nice touch to the level. Also, making the places of the coins not way too easy to find was a good idea too. [Heck, it took me mins to find them :P]
The only thing that I kinda like less is the background -maybe because it somehow doesn’t seem to fit..but nonetheless, this is a nice level. =] Good job you both.
I think 8.5 for a rating is fair enough.
(I know I don’t review, but MB made me do it. ;P)
Anyway, when I viewed this tileset in JCS, I really liked how it was done.I also think the concept of it is original-same goes to the floating diamonds in there. And I think this tileset works well for a SP level. Can’t say more because I’m no tilset/JCS expert.:P
Kinda tied here on the rating, but I’ll give it a 9 because I think the concept of it is original-in my opinion-and it’s well done.
