tutorial level for “beginers” indeed.
NANANANANAN BAD LEVEL!
Did you even test this level?
Eyecandey
I want to know what you were smoking when you made this. Background has tilebugs, everything else has tilebugs. Very few tiles connect properly. No lyaer 5-7 or 1-3. Everything is flosting in mid air and it looks like the author just took random tiles and called it a level. Very poor.
1/10
Gameplay
Kill enemies, run right, drop down, fight a boss. BTW the boss arena is horrible as you have to have fun figuring out what’s masked and what’s not.
1/10
Enemy Placement
All there is are some crabs, and fat chicks. They barley pose a threat.
1/10
Pickups
Very little. Little ammo on the trains and a shield. some things you can’t get to. Carrot crate. No food or gems. BAD
1/10
Final Score: 4/40
Score: 1

DR? No.
I only downloaded this level to see how fast i could complete it. (Record is 5 seconds)
Trust me when I say, you should be the last person doing a tutorial level.
Eyecandey
More like an Eyesore. A little layer 3 is used at the beginning but it makes no sense. (Looks ugly. It’s just blocks) Background is just blocks which look bad. the platforms have tilebugs, bad animations, empty level. Next topic.
1/10
Gameplay
Fall down, run across some blinking platforms, if you fall, drop down and jump back up. Eather way, you go to a ledge and your done! You can fall of the level as well. that was fun right?
1/10
Enemies AND pickups
non in both
0/10
Final Score: 2/30
Score: 1

DR? No. this is a horrible tutorial level.
First, I’d like to know why someone would bother uploading something like this to J2O. I’ll review each mayor point and you’ll know what I mean (but maybe you already knew it because of the reviews before mine):
EYECANDY: Horrible. You used layers 3, 4 and 8 (or should I say “tried to use”). The tile placement is terrible. There aren’t 2 single tiles which fit together. Also, the background in layer 8 is very bad, it’s just a bunch of wall tiles.
GAMEPLAY: Ridiculous. How about this: you start the level, and fall through some wall blocks put on layer 3. Then you run to the right until you see some dissapearing blocks, you fall through them, then there are some more vanishing blocks, then you jump on a boll platform and right to the exit. Also, you can fall off the level in the exit zone. At least I beated Labratkid, I won it in 5:53 seconds using Jazz, with Spaz I made it in 4:75. Yeah, I was honored with the “Tutorial Level for Beginers Master” title.
ENEMY PLACEMENT: This is another good point of this level. The enemies, as well as the eyecandy and gameplay, are challenging and fun and… Oh, I think I have mistaken the review. Well, in this level there are no enemies. As simple as that.
WEAPONS PLACEMENT: Same as enemy placement. No weapon apart from the blaster. Well, in this level this shouldn’t mater, as there are no baddies to shot at…
ITEMS/PICKUPS: Nothing to review here. It seems the author forgot how to put a single carrot in JCS.
OTHERS: There isn’t anything on this level that should impress so much so as to send Leole a private message so that he can explain how he did it. Maybe the only good thing this level has is that it is very very small, little and short, and you don’t have to play this thing for a long time.
BONUSES: Yes, of course… :P
OVERALL: I think this level deserves a 1. Perhaps the author’s intention when creating this was good, I don’t know. Still, as anyone can see, this shouldn’t be on J2O.
DOWNLOAD RECOMMENDATION: Just to see how bad this level is.
I won’t rate because I can’t complete the game. However, I will review what I played:
Like you said, its mostly hard fighting. And yes, that couldn’t be more true. You spend the entire pack going around killing bad guys and walking around a level for 3 seconds before you come across a boss or get stuck. Eventually, you get bored JJNEXTing the levels you can’t do, so you decide to create a level with the horrible smudgy backround and stick a load of bosses in an arena, then my computer packs in.
i think this is the best level ever!!!!!!
(Unsupported rating (10) removal. ~Violet)
yes you are all right, at the moment i am making a new level wich i will be tested by a few people before i will upload it(if everithing is going according plan it`s going to be VERY hard, thats where it`s made for)at the moment i am reading al revieuws of the files i`ve uploaded to see what i can do better.
i dont know if i`ll ever finish it because i have some other projects to finish to,if there is an update you can see it at http://www.gamezz.dl.am
the (shortend) name is WoW i`ll keep the full name+the story secret because it needs technical change`s(the plot may be a bit changed)
o, lease don`t delete this message trafton or any other webaster,i`m placing it so that they can see i`m NOT giving up.
have a nice day
No rating given, Jelze.
I won’t review this myself since Jelze convinced me that this lvl is ‘junk’.
Delette.

One Massage To Your Girlfriend :
You’re The Badest Level Maker EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
EVER
[Unsupported and untolerable reason for giving an 1. You have to provide reasons you give a 1. Please do not post anymore reviews like this. Jarno, je moet goede redenen geven voor je rating. Post alsjeblieft niet meer van dit soort reviews. -FQuist]
Ok FQuist
Ok, I’ll be gentle with this. This won’t be a regular review of mine because… well, this level’s short and seems unfinished. Instead I will just point out the things this level can be improved upon (if necessary I’ll do it in dutch, the filename is dutch)
Lay-out
The lay-out on its own is straight-forward: walk straight forward, enter a warp, walk some more while killing baddies till you meet the boss. The main thing is it’s way too short. I can understand the author intended it for beginning players, but still, it can be made just a bit longer. Also, you can just jump over the boss area and fall endlessly.
Tileset Use and Eye Candy
The second worst offender of this level. The background immediatly shows the author needs to learn some skill before publishing her work: none of the layers have been resized, so the sky doesn’t look the way it should. The eye candy is basic, and incomplete: I see turnips and carrots with out their tops. I’ve also spotted some tile bugs here and there.
At least she know how to make animations: those twinkly stars. Unfortunately she didn’t see the stars are masked
Events
That’s the worst offender. Anyone who’s played this level may have noticed that at the end, the boss music plays, but there’s no boss. Well, a quick trip to TSF JCS reveals why: it only appears on easy mode. That makes no sense! It’s a training level, why is it set on easy only? Better would have been to set it on hard for more experienced players. As for the rest, the only thing worth mentioning are:
- there are hardly any enemies, no ammo, just a shield and just one piece of food: a coconut.
- there’s a gem crate near the warp, with heaps of gems (15 of each)
- the boss area has End of Level. events. The boss doesn’t show up, but come on! This makes the level less than a cakewalk.
Miscellaneous
What do you know? The next level setting is missing, as well as the music. And as noted it’s TSF only (v. 1.24!). That’s all.
Verdict and Final Thoughts
I may have seemed harsher than usual, but believe me: other are even worse than me. I know the author is inexperienced, but it’s usually a good idea to learn some skills first before you publish a level. Sorry to say this,
but this is just junk. Here’s some tips, if you want to be a good level maker, follow them:
1) Learn how to resize layers. It’s easy, and for layer 8 it’s a cakewalk: just check “Texture mode” to resize to 8 × 8. All textured backgrounds have that size.
2) See how tiles fit together. It’s easy to make a level ugly if you just slap some tiles on a level.
3) Make some smal levels first for practice, but don’t publish them. Instead, show them to friends and ask what they think of it, learn from it. Make each level longer than the last, trying something new each time.
4) Find out the filename of the level, and the music you want to use. The level is for the Next Level Setting (setting it blank doesn’t mean it will loop) and the music is selfexplanatory
- JelZe GoldRabbit =:3
Wrong version, it’s 1.24.
Uhh. It took me like a month to make a level worth around 6 ;(.
cant you see!? hes trying to be funny!
remember, no one likes a pineapple with a big mouth
(Unsupported rating removal. Do I really need to explain this one? Original rating 10.0. ~Violet)
Let’s put this to the test, the last two things I rated were below 1.5. Can you do better?
EYECANDY: Hmmm, I told you to use the other layers, and you didn’t!!!:( You only used layers 4 and 8. Eyecandy: not your strongpoint, but the only good point is the two layers you use are fixed.
ITEMS: Well you used items this time, but you could fit a lot more than that in.
ENEMIES: YOU USED ENEMIES ( YAAAAAAYYY!!!!) but you didn’t use them correctly, you overused them a bit.
RATING: 2.0
FUNOMETER: 6.1
FINAL COMMENT: You finaly reached 2, try to keep on doing your layers fixed and to not overuse enemies. And next time you use a boss, PLEASE PUT IN CARROTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lemme Review this,
Eyecandy: Hmm, i’ll review it, even if you said not to, then there is hardly to review on if i dont. You used wall blocks for the sprite layer on the background layer. The animating tiles are terrible too, there is an animation of a buttstomp block, which changes to a sign and then to a blank. Also, none of the layers were edited, and you wasted a lot of space; you could have made the sprite layer smaller. -1/2
Enemies: No bad guys, well how fun… NOT! All i can say is, never forget enemies!!!!!!! -1/2
Pickups: None, again, levels are a lot better with pickups, and, there were none included! -1/2
Fun Factor: Well, if you enjoy dropping from the top of a level to the bottom, and moving about 80 tiles, i’d say this is fun, otherwise i hate falling for no reason, so it isn’t fun. Like the Labratkid said, it is only fun timing yourself. -1/2
Others: Well there is horrible gameplay even for a tutorial, you are meant to learn something from tutorials! The sign is written in a really stupid way, and if you jump over the exit, you fall off the level, which then you are stuck unless you cheat or quit. The only good thing is that there is a boll platform, but that isn’t really good, it is the only thing that caught my eye, please try harder like this, overall the events were placed terribly, and i only learnt one thing from the level, that there is no point to this. You are not terrible, you just need to try harder. -1/2
Overall: -1/2 × 5 = -5/10
=P I wanna see part two now!

Another Leole level. Is this one better than GET OFF THE TRAIN STATION.
EYECANDY: Sorry, but it is my duty to review the eyecandy, speaking of that review you said not to. You learned something, puting things on forground layers (HORRAH!!!) There are somewhat 3 bridges if I can count. They all blink, and that is annoying because you bounce with them. I’ve had enough talking about eyecandy (Witch is good news).
ENIMIES: No enimies means no review.
ITEMS: No items also means no review.
SIZE: Every level has a size. It’s tiny, just like Get off the train station. It takes at least 2 seconds to do. So it’s more like tinyer than Get off the train station.
FINAL RATING:1.0
FINAL COMMENT: ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGG!!!! Why are your levels so bad??. I hope you have learned something from me, DON’T PUT PRACTICE OR TRUTORIAL LEVELES ONT THE WEBSITE!!!.
I would like to say that if you are trying to learn anything at all about Jazz2, this is a level you should stay away from. When the other people say there is no eye candy, they mean there is no eye candy. There is an incredibly small attempt at a layout, but it’s too small to count for anything. When I played this level, I wanted to shoot myself. It’s just not fun or good looking in any way whatsoever.
Remember, friends don’t let friends download “tutorial level for beginers”.
No eyecandy whatso ever. Horrible enemy placement, horrible item placement. I don’t see why the autor has named the level “tutorial level for beginers”. Sorry, a 1 from me.
Reccomend download rate: F
why do you make an beginners lvl if we already have one on 1.23?
I agree with Dx.
Delete this.
Oh,and Leole.
We are raters,we give ratings so why you upload this if we may not rate from you?
