OK, here’s my few words about this package, since Agama is real guru in making tilesets and I hope that users high ratings are big encouragement for Agama to create more masterpieces. Of course it gets 10 and recomandation and now some words about this tileset. It was made on a base of original beach tileset – good to know, because I see no similarities (maybe a bit in a colour palette) this rather looks like made from scratch because every element, every tile is changed. Imagine a scenery for JJ2 on which you see a swamp with tall trees with rather dark brown and green colors and beautiful background. Now open your eyes and look at sample level of swamp tileset… and teach your imagination to create such amazing images.
P.S. still few Agama’s tileset’s to see, I’m sure I won’t be dissapointed.

Yes, it’s Agama’s tileset and yes, it is great. Although I don’t quite like some elements like black holes among bricks, and the river in the background is takin’ player attention (at least my attention) but it’s still a masterpiece. Look at those pictures on the walls, one word – genius. Hard to compare it to other Agama’s works, it’s quite similar in style, just different scenery. One thing is certain these tilesets are real jewels in j2o downloads and it would be a crime if I’d rate it lower than 10.
P.S. Filesize is quite big, but trust me – it’s worth waiting!

I really like these tiles… they’re neat and preserve the cartoonish style of whole game. Now, that work deserve really high rating beacuse this stuff fits well to original tilesets. Level designers: use Heaven and your levels will just look great. That’s how good tileset should look like, so… maximum rating and recomended for download :)

It rocks, it rocks, it rocks!

You really must make more single player lvls if your first ones are so gobsmackingly good, Agama! Now I understand why those example lvls following your tilesets are also so amazing! You have it all Agama! Lvl designing skills, tileset designing superhuman skills, etc. The only thing left to do is to do some jazzing online and kick mortal butt! :-D

The lvls are nice and long and you will have lots of fun with them because there are 10 in total, giving you about 2 hours of exciting playtime (depending on just how much effort you put in looking for the various secrets). The Epic-style gameplay is great and perfectly imitated. Though Epic-style lvls tend to be easy I don’t really care because there are not many lvl packs except for a select few that can beat Epic’s original lvls in terms of sheer fun and playability. Night World deserves to be classified as an Epic lvl. Your lvls are like Epic’s, your tilesets are like Epic’s…do you work for Epic??? :-D

Eyecandy is also Epic-ishy but it exists in a higher concentration. No complaints here but Epic lvls were kind of empty of eyecandy compared to some home-cooked lvls so it wouldn’t hurt if you put more stuff into all layers.

Weapons and baddie placement. Ahh… fighting 3 fencers at the same time… it’s fun playing Zorro with JJ2. :-) The baddie placement COULD NOT BE BETTER. Some are ingeniously placed while others are just waiting to ambush you. You often never know what to expect and when they come, the only way out is to react fast and shoot fast. The baddies die all too easily but if they didn’t, Night World would make a formidable challenge. Weapons placement is not that brilliant, but all right. There tend to be a unique weapon for every lvl/tileset theme but in the end you go overboard with ammo, Agama. There is so much of it and since I usually only use the blaster all my ammo is wasted at x99. Even the bosses can be defeated easily using the standard blaster (go blaster! :-D).

My big complaints about Night World is that some bonus areas can be accessed by copter ears/double jumping, there are a couple of places to get stuck (near the bridges in the Medivo lvl), the whole thing is too easy and you can finish it in a flash and there is an unfinished area near the end of the Carrotus lvl, which looks ugly. BUT DON’T LET THIS DETER YOU FROM DOWNLOADING, PLAYING AND ENJOYING NIGHT WORLD OR I SHALL HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO EAT YOU!!!!!

I know my review is almost 4 years old but after I discovered this wonderful little lvl pack I couldn’t help but to play and review it. Extra bonus because these are your first lvls. Agama, you are brilliant.

I don’t explain why to give this tileset 10.0 You know it;)
(Plz don’t delete my review Violet)
(No. When posting a review, the requirements are very low. You just need to write a few small sentences explaining why you gave this rating. If you read the rules, you’ll see that it says that you do need to explain. It’s not that hard. ~Violet)

Some tileset review.
Introduction: This is a tileset by Agama, and this tileset is known as one of the best tilesets ever and even one of the best files on j2o. Anyway, let’s comtinue.
Eye candy/Animations: This tileset has alot of eye candy. Things like grass, clouds, water, caves, ports and some other stuff. There are some animations, like that fireballs and that water thingy. There are also some spikes and the idea to put keys in it with doors was very good. This should be useful if you want to make triggers in your levels with this tileset. There is more eye candy to put in layers, and I can say I loved all eye candy in the tileset.
Possibilities: You can make alot with this tileset. This tileset is perfect if you are a good JCS user, because it has more sorts of platforms, and like I said, the eye candy is perfect.
How hard to use: This tileset isn’t the hardest tileset, but it’s not an easy one if you start on making levels. That edges that you should place under platforms are 2 tiles instead of 1, and you need to use special ground tiles to make your level not buggy if you are creating one with this tileset. This makes the tileset not too easy to use. You need to look good at the masking, because you easily make mistakes with it.
Build with this/Overused/Underused? This tileset is slightly overused, but if you have alot of experience with JCS, you should make a level with this. If this was not so old, I should say that you should make a level right now, but it’s kinda old now.
Conclusion tileset: This tileset has alot of eye candy in it. Although it’s hard to use, I think eye candy is most important for tilesets. I’ll give the tileset a 9.
