Has a nice cartoony feel to it that fits well for Jazz. Too lazy to say much more. Definitely worth a download; from one of the best custom tileset makers around. :)
Another little thing I want:
Could all the beta testers PLEASE download this tileset again. I’ve made changes since you’ve tested, and not one of you have the latest version. That includes you Bobby, I added something else since you tested the ‘latest’ version. The last thing I want is more than one version of this tileset out there. It was a pain with Blue World having to download it every time there is a different level.
I’m also glad to annouce that I uploaded this level on my 17th Birthday (30 May 2001). This will be the celebration :)
Rock on Jazzers FOREVER!!
Oh, almost forgot, thank you VERY much Frankenquist for finishing the downloads section today :D[This review has been edited by Disguise]
>The “very original” sequel to Mountain is called Mountain Trip (I guess it’s a sequel), anyways here’s the review:
The is tileset is slightly better than Mountain. It has the things to build a fresh lvl, except, still, it hasn
t got the layer use. Some plain air and stripes as rain isn’t enuf.
But if u’re not very confident with JCS I advise u to use this one, cos it lacks of all the possibilties JCS offers and is there for (too) simple.
For the advanced builder: Look for something more challenging than is, but if u really wanna build with it u can download it, who’ll stop u?[This review has been edited by $TÛNT$]
It’s far too standard. Just some plain things to walk… Not very much thought about things to “decorate” the lvl with, like hanging vines, rubble or something else. The tileset doesn’t give the user the abilty to use different layers.
But hey it’s Disguise a 7 should be minimun, most people will think. Well not for me.
A 6, nutting more nutting less…
A tileset is what you make of it…
nothing more nothing less.
Ultimate World is Just better
and very easy to make a good lvl with

Sorry for posting this, but never in my entire life did I expect Ultimate World to score higher than this set!

Aha I have seen it now in Rock haven by cmdr dats LOL…
Well the tileset is worth the ratings everyone gave it, but still on the original (included) level I still get that error… hmm..
It could also have been a bit darker grey but thats the designers desision…
Anyways good level, d/l recommendation from me.[This review has been edited by BlackDeath]
I like your tilesets….
It have the basic tiles and some nice things more, like stil says.
Everybody download this.

I like dark looks on a tileset, but this one gives me an error so far, so ill rate it later…
hey, i had this one already, its ok though
Yet another cool stony tileset by Disguise: “Mountain” has 190 tiles and i really like the greyish look of the set. There are many useful tiles (signs, vines, spikes, rain and clouds for example), a background for layer 8 and some blocks with digits.
Indeed, i also like the related “Mountain Trip” a tad better. Nevertheless, this is a MUST DOWNLOAD for all tileset fans (and who isn’t?)!
P.S.:
I am VERY undecided about the rating (7 or 7.5). Well, i guess i didn’t underrate Disguise’s creations so lets agree on 7 for now…;-)
P.P.S.:
For a good level using this tileset, you should download “Rock Haven” by Cmdr Dats. It’s worth it.[This review has been edited by Aiko]
“Mountain Trip” is another very neat old tileset by the our south african tileset god. It has about 220 tiles with all kinds of details included: platforms, vines, signs, rain, some very strange looking plants (AHUM ;) a nice little snag animation and, not to forget, a nest filled with eggs. There is also a nice, white background structure (which looks a bit like cheap wallpaper though :).
Mr. Disguise also jampacked the ZiP archive with a very stylish example battle level (platform fever!).
Overall, this is another classic tileset and therefore DEFiNITELY WORTH A DOWNLOAD or two. No doubt. Disguise is 133t.
P.S.: Bobby, it was posted at J2C, not J2O :-)
This tileset is an old one by Disguise released on J2C a while ago.
(There are too many acronyms) ;P[This review has been edited by Bobby aka Dizzy]

I think it’s a good tileset.
I don’t have much to say about it but i’ll give it a 7,2.
