Not only Lori Croft is bpring, I think youre boring too, although thats what I see in your levels, they are all the same (almost), and that tileset you made; why do almost all your tilesets look the same, huhm???

Well, there are quite some good ideas and puzzles, like those mirrors and that scarab grid thingie and a little more, but thats it then….

All those love scenes……
But thats not the only thing, your level making style is always the same too, always those zigzag things full with enemies…….now THAT is boring!!!!!

The musics were one of the good points though, but thats not gonna help you, hear???????

I dont make a worthy review cuz Im not in the hood for it, but if I would rate it Ill gave it a….eehhhhh………i think some kind of eehhh….a 4.8 maybe….
Its not that bad but its far from good, oh what do I say, its as far from good as the heaven to the hell, no, eh its far…………………………….
sorry im gone idiotic, well I HOPE you will make GOOD or DECENT or GREAT levels in future, and Im not even interested in the next levels, and that odyssey thing you released with this one…….

Holyoli, I really like this one!!!!
I just luv it <3 <3 <3

Ok, lets begin with the review!!!

Colors: This is the thing a luv the most!!!
I’ll rate the colors of all 3 versions appart of each other.

Day Tileset:

Ground tiles: They’ve got a more light-bronish tint now which looks great.

Eyecandy Objects: The carrots now look more bronish, i think they got the wrong color now, carrots normally look orange, dont they????
The foliage looks lighter green then first, which looks good cuz the whole version is light and I like the color of it.The flowers look exactly the same as before, which is a minor bad point cuz you could at least make the purple petals green orso and make a second flower (the same) but then with light-blue petals orso, which looks beautiful with the environment (in my opinion).

Background Tiles: The sky is beautifully bright and light-blue which i really like.
The castle looks almost the same as first, which isnt that terrible cause i dont know which color to give it besides the whitey one.

The Blocks: Look exactly same as before, you could at least make other blocks (special guns, ?s and key blocks) and give them other colors (or make more colors) like green and brownish (or a mix of them like in diamondus ß). But thats not that important.

New Tiles:
Rain: It has has a nice color.
Backgroundmountains + water: yes, this looks good, the color is good chosen.
Waterfall: The color is again good chosen and it looks so beautiful!!!!

Overall
As I earlier mentioned, I really like the colors of this version. It mainly uses three colors: Light-brownish for ground and wooden poles etc., light-green for the foliage, and a beauteous light-blue color for sky, water things and mountains.

Evening version:

Everthing looks just a bit darker, so almost the same, but thats ok cuz the rest is looks a bit darker too.
The biggest difference is the light-blue things are now purple, which looks good too, i really liked that too!!!
Thats it for the evening version…

Night (Storm) Version:

Again everything a bit darker (not a bit, but not much either).
And again the light-blue or purple things had the biggest changes, they now look dark-blue which looks good too. The colors are great for making a level IN a mountain.

Difficulty to use and Layout:

Exactly the same as before.
But that isnt a problem cuz I find the layout of the original one easy enough (so youre just lucky I find it easy).

Looks of new tiles:

Everything looks fine EXCEPT the rain tiles…. Do not only make rain tiles with like ehh (let me count) about 20 rain drops in it…. Make tiles with a few drops too so people can choose to make many or few rain drops in their level (not like you did in the example level, you placed the tiles with about 20 drops just on some places… That didnt look well cuz in real if it rains lightly, you dont have a few clumps of about 20 drops in it that are falling appart of each other with plenty of space between them, no, they fall constantly with clumps of like 3 to 7 drops in them….
Next time think of that!!!

Originality and effort:

Hmmm, originality…, well, it was a very original idea I must say, I really liked it much and I think I am sure it will be used much (I think im sure, did you read that????).
But on some things you didnt put that much effort in them and they turned out bad. So next time I hope you’ll think of some things you didnt think of this time…

Eeeehhhmmm, if youve read this review from Holyoli till THESE THREE WORDS I think you’ll already know the answer….

But for the lazy ones here is the answer: YES I LIKED IT VERY MUCH, I REALLY LOVE IT!!!!!

Uuhhhmm, well, YES OF COURSE, especially if youre like me, then youll like LOVE it!!!

P.S.: The musics where great!!! They fit the versions perfectly (except for the evening one).

Hehe, finally ive almost finished my review, and I’ve come to a rating that looks as followed: a 8.5!!!!!

ok lets begin with level 1:

Eyecandy: ermmm, eyecandy, is there any, eehhh…..NOOOO there isnt any!!!!

Gameplay: You begin on a plain sand plateau (it doesnt even look like a beach), you will see a gap of 3 tiles high and about 15 tiles long with green gems in it, so you think, well, lets grab them, but!!!!! its a trap, as you enter the gap, a wooden plank will appear and close your escape and then a message will appear: ohno, its a trap!!!
type jjk to restart!!!
DONT DO THAT EVER AGAIN!!! and its even in the beginning of the first level!!!
So, i think well, thats the ‘only one’, but i was wrong, not a minute after it, there are 2 ways to progress which are locked by ! blocks. You have to go to the upper way to progess, but dont go between the 2 sand humps cuz you then will get locked up again!!!

well, then further there is a long sand path, with about 3 enemies spread out in like a width of 60 tiles, and then a woodhouse appear with a crab inside the passage, then you will jump and kill the beast, and notice that the ground will collapse and you will go underwater, and guess what……..

YOU WILL END UP LOCKED UP AGAIN!!!!!!

THIS IS NOW THE THIRTH TIME IN ABOUT 2 OR 3 MINUTES PLAYING THE SAME LEVEL!!!!!

okay, im out of it and as i progress there will be nothin but sand, sand, sand, sand and about 3 crabs orso….

then you will enter a sea of 3 tiles high (i think that seas are much bigger in real), well anyway, you will enter that ‘sea’ and shoot down 5 fishes and 2 tube turts orso… and then the first level will end

Enemy placement: eehhhmmm, about 15 enemies spread out a level of like 15 tiles high and 256 tiles long orso, i think that that is just too less!!!

Ammo: NO ANY!!!

Bonusses: yes, there are bonusses, but they are almost all traps!!!

Overall: an empty level without bonusses or ammo!!!

Rating level 1:

Eyecandy: 2/10
Gameplay: 0/10
Enemy placement: 1.5/10
Ammo: 0/10
Bonusses: 1.2/10
Overall: 2+1.5+1.2=4.7
4.7/5=0.94=0.9

Rating: 0.9

okay, level 2

Eyecandy: no any either, only underwater there IS SOME, but it doesnt look well cuz its not used well

Gameplay: YAY!!! no traps!!!
BUT!!!!!!!! it still is empty!!!
You just search for a minute, shott down a single block, open a way by touching an ‘acces granted’ block thing, and search further through the oh so empty ‘Jack sea’, as you call it
and then you swim a circle (as the level name explains) to the place you started, but then go to above and finish the level, wohhhowww!!!! this was ‘exiting’, NOT!!!! it was just empty in all ways!!!

Enemy placement: 10 fishes, 10 crabs and 2 tube turts in the whole level, thats not enough!!!!

Ammo: AT LEAST THERE IS ANY!!!!! you will get 7 ammo pickups of gun 4, but that still is not enough!!!

Bonusses: eehhh, like 3 green gems, 1 red gem in the whole level!!!

Overall: just, boring, boring, and boring again!!! This is just annoying, and is getting even more annoying!!!

Rating level 2:
Eyecandy: 3/10
Gameplay: 2/10
Enemy placement: 2.5/10
Ammo: 2.5/10
Bonusses: 2/10
Overall: 3+2+2.5+2.5+2=12
12/5=2.4

Rating: 2.4

Level 3

Eyecandy: BAHHHHHHHHH, no any either!!!

Gameplay: you dont have to do anything, just float up in the water and get to the top of the ‘waterspout’…… Thats just silly!!!

Enemy placement: eehhh, like 25 fishes and thats it…

Ammo: eehhh, like 12 ammos of the bouncer scattered in the whole level…

Bonusses: 5 green gems and 12 red gems, COME WITH FOOD NEXT TIME (ever heared of coins btw???)

Overall: this is just a level with takes not even 1 minute to finish, and besides you dont have to do a single thing!!!

Rating level 3:

Eyecandy: 0/10
Gameplay: 0/10
Enemy placement: 1/10
Ammo: 1.5/10
Bonusses: 1.5/10
Overall: 1+1.5+1.5=4
4/5=0.8

Rating: 0.8

Level 4:

Eyecandy: space stars and stones, no any other things

Gameplay: hop on the board, and search through the space to a nearly impossible findable-(dunno how to call that) exit

Enemy placement: some floating suckers, nothin more……

Ammo: gun5, with little amount…..

Bonusses: eehh, gems???

Overall: nothing more to say here.

Rating level 4:

Eyecandy: 0/10
Gameplay: 0/10
enemy placement: 1/10
ammo: 2/10
bonusses: 0/10
overall: 1+2=3
3/5=0.6

rating: 0.6

ahhhhh the final level (5)

Eyecandy: eeehhhh could be MUCH better, its just plainly the tiles you use in the gameplay and nothin more….

Gameplay: well this is the best gameplay of the pack but still!!! you begin by a wall which can only be broken if you had the ammo still carried with you, if youve not you have to type JJK 4 times (dunno why, thats what the text says). Well after that its just walk here, stomp there, and walk there, stomp here, and then a code or something like that, and you will get stuck easily!!!!
After that you will fight devan (surprise) and after that youll finish the level, w00000t!!!!

Enemies: no any except devan!!!!

Ammo: no any!!!

bonus: no any!!!

overall: just boring (see the gameplay above)!!!!!

Rating level 5

Eyecandy: 1.5
Gameplay: 1.5
Enemies: 0/10
Ammo: 0/10
Bonus: 0/10
Overall: 1.5+1.5=3
3/5=0.6

rating: 0.6

Rating all levels:

Level 1: 0.9
Level 2: 2.4
Level 3: 0.8

NO DOWNLOAD RECOMMENDATION!!!!!

Please make entertaining and good levels in progress!!!
And dont rush your levels, make them bigger, less empty, spend time on eyecandy and extra gameplay, make fun puzzles, and place more enemies and place them better, and place some pickups like: coins, food, gems, 1ups, carrots, ammo, and othere pickups!!!
Using environment and gameplay events are not a bad idea…..

And in progress put the music in it, or a link to the music zipfile, i was just lucky i already had all the music files!!!!

Well, i hope you will make SPLENDID levels in future!!!!
Then you will be one of those levelmakingmasters!!!
Wouldnt you want to be one???

well, its too empty.
and it doesnt look like a mine.
its a good idea of those radiating poles things, but they doesnt look like radiating poles things.

overall a ~ not ~ fine level you would use in some occasions.
The ideas where good, but not worked out well…

The story is ok.

and you used the wrong tileset,(in my opinion) because it doesnt look like a mine…
you used it because its very easy to use, but i think not that you have chosen it because it looks like a real mine, am i right???

I give it a 4.9

eeehhhm Janus: Purplejazz7 made this tileset conversion cause it was a request of me, i wanted him to make a castle tileset that looked like underwater castle, and i wanted him to let it look the same as the original castle tileset, only then other colours and extra eyecandy stuff for underwater, so its not his idea to be exact, so if you want to complain, complain than to me, not to purplejazz7, cuz he only MADE my idea to a REAL tileset. Why he did that is for the fact that i cant or nearly cant make a tileset or conversion, sooooo….

Sorry Ischa, but: WHAT THE HECK IS THIS ABOUT???

This is just some sort of example level that shows you what stuff u can do with different kinds of things (i think that bartman doesnt want it rated)
If im wrong, i offer u my apologies.

And it is pretty annoying that u always rate on base if there is any uterus boss in the level, that just doesnt make sense, even if u hate uterus. And the music of it and tilesets used, thats just a thing everyone must decide himself!!!

(dont ever rate mine levels if you come again with that uterus nonsense, cuz im using him in the pack im currently working on!!!)

So, i think thats clear 4 ya, isnt it???

great tileset man, and a great level too!!!

but….

i found a bug, it was in the lowest single stone that is floating in the air in the upper of the level, i came stuck in it…

so plz fix it now you still can!!!
